Mara is dog aggressive and dismissive of people and very slow to build trust. Yushonda would not settle for good enough or merely being present in the house. She strived and worked hard to build that trust, working with Mara, making her presence known, and building trust at Mara's pace. I was shocked to hear Mara got comfortable enough to jump right in bed on the first night. I had expected at the end of the stay for our dog to maybe allow pets, instead she made a great new friend by the first day and asked for belly rubs, something she only does for 3 people. About: Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I truly love being around pets of all kinds. I have over two years of experience working as a kennel attendant, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all temperaments, sizes, and energy levels. I also spent two years shadowing at a veterinary clinic, where I became comfortable administering medications as directed and recognizing signs of illness or distress.
