“I thought I knew what a 5 star pet sitter was like, but Makayla has set a new standard! Our 2 cats and 2 dogs were WELL taken care of. One of our pitties can have door aggression, but after a meet and greet we found a way for Makayla to safely come and go while we were away. By the end of the trip, the anxious pittie was Makayla’s shadow. We got daily updates and pictures. Makayla knows how to take care of anxious pets AND their anxious pet-parents. We will absolutely be scheduling our next vacation around Makayla’s availability.”

About: I have had family pets for my whole life. Dogs and cats, chickens, ducks, and turkeys. I worked at a horse barn for over 2 years. My cat had passed away over a year ago from liver cancer. I am used to incorporating medicine in food, pills or even a syringe directing in the mouth. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time for daily care including walks, sitting or feedings.I am also available for weekly routines as well. I love to look at notes/routines provided from the client and follow accordingly. I love to send update pictures/videos to keep updated on their pets daily as I do my best for their pets to have the best time. I do not take risks as the wellbeing of pets are paramount.

“I'm truly thankful to have met and hired Yushonda. I have watched over 100 dogs, and I mean it when I say she is a step above everyone else. Mara is dog aggressive and dismissive of people and very slow to build trust. Yushonda would not settle for good enough or merely being present in the house. She strived and worked hard to build that trust, working with Mara, making her presence known, and building trust at Mara's pace. I was shocked to hear Mara got comfortable enough to jump right in bed on the first night. I have some experience with training dogs during my time in the service. I currently work from home so I’m very flexible with how my day to day looks I finish my work day at 5 and free on the weekends. I have a large back yard partially fenced in. With one very well behaved golden lab to keep others company. We love playing fetch and enjoying the outside as much as possible.
