“I had a great first experience with Rover, thanks to Martha! Martha took amazing care of my dog for a whole week in her home. I was nervous about leaving him because he's had behavioral issues in the past, but it worked out really well! Martha was very responsive from the start and experienced with rescue dogs. Martha was very accommodating of Bumi's daily medication schedule and prescription diet, as well as his rescue quirks. She sent pictures and updates which were great comforts to me. Bumi was clearly very happy and comfortable while he was boarding. I will not hesitate to book Martha again!”

“Moved to the area a few months ago and have already relied on Marty several times to take care of my furry friend while I'm away. Marty is always excited to see him, and he always goes running into her house to look for the toy basket without looking back. Very grateful for Marty and her family, we will be back!”

My husband and I felt very comfortable leaving our dogs with Stephanie and would absolutely book her again in the future.”
“Tracey gave great directions to her home and what to bring with Lukie for his first stay with her. She seemed competent and confident and I liked that she was laid back when we arrived, so therefore Lukie mirrored her energy and settled right in. About: I've had cats my whole life, with my parents I helped breed Siamese cats and raised several other breeds. We board and care for kittens and senior cats regularly at Big Blue Barn. We groom and board them Giving them the best care to be healthy and educate the owners on fur maintenance.

“Sara is an amazing pet sitter! She takes excellent care of my cat, Buddy, and I always feel at ease knowing he's in good hands. I've used her multiple times, and each time she goes above and beyond. It's clear she truly loves animals, and Buddy absolutely adores her. Highly recommend!”

About: I personally own two cats who are like my children, so I am very familiar with caring for cats and understanding their individual needs. I have extensive experience caring for cats and genuinely enjoy interacting with each one. I can ensure they are comfortable, happy in their environment, and provided with a safe and enriching experience. Services I offer: • House sitting (My Basic House-Sitting service includes staying overnight with your Cat/Cats so they have company and comfort in their own home, along with daytime care every 4-6 hours for litter box clean up, meals, playtime, and cuddles.) • Drop-ins (30 Minute Drop-Ins include checking the litter box, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away.)

“I am so thankful for Hannah taking care of my cat while I was out of town. I had to leave last minute for my dads funeral and memorial services. The washing machine flooded the basement, ankle deep, the night before the flight out- not the only disaster. With Hannah / Rover, my kitty was one thing that was in good hands, one less worry. I messed up dates on the app, Hannah fixed it. She called me to let me know the power was shut off so I was able to fix it same day. I accidentally ordered a bunch of books that got delivered after we left, she brought them in. 10/10 would recommend. Happy happy cat and everything good when we got back.”

“Elizabeth is great, always caring and attentive! This is the second time she’s watched my cat, it feels great to have a sitter I know I can trust when I’m out of town.”

About: I’ve had multiple cats all my life. I bring to the table 30+ years of cat experience. I have experience from taking care of them from birth and bottle fed to senior cat care. I’m a pro at keeping the litter box clean and the cats purring and kneading happy kitty biscuits.

About: While I love animals of all kinds, cats are my soul animals. As you probably saw in other spots on my profile, I currently have 4 of my own. (I had five, but I very sadly lost my dear girl, Rita, to cancer last year ❤️). I love my kitties so much that I literally have two of their portraits tattooed on my arm. They're my entire world. I know that those of us who love cats, all share the same obsession. We're a special type of person. I currently care-take for my sick boy, Castle, dealing with his kidney disease. And have taken care of all my babies with the utmost care through their whole lives. I'm comfortable and confident in giving all kinds of medications, including administering subcutaneous fluids by myself. I'd love to care for your kitties while you're away!
“I love Malena!! I got lots of pics to show me the babies are doing well and lots of updates. It made vacationing more enjoyable knowing she genuinely cared about them and how they adjusted to her. She will definitely my Go-To Kitty Sitter!”

Our spacious 2.5-acre property offers plenty of room for dogs to roam, explore, and enjoy playtime in a safe setting. From daily walks to playing fetch in the yard, your pets will be in loving hands. Having used Rover to book pet care for my dog, Lily, I understand that leaving your dog can be nerve-wracking. Let me provide the peace of mind you deserve while you're away, knowing your beloved dog is receiving top-notch care! Working from home allows me to spend time with your dog throughout the day and attend to them as much as needed. I walk every day and am happy to take your pup along with me if they love walks too! We want your dog(s) to cozy in and feel at home, and welcome them sleeping in our room or in their crate, however they are most comfortable.

“Joni is awesome!!! Her setup is a like a dog's resort. She greeted us, showed us how my pup could run around freely inside and out. The topper, my dog loves to swim and she had a setup with the doggie stairs. She even sent me a video :). It was great to relax knowing my baby was in good hands!”
“Kimberly was super flexible and great with our 7 month old pup, Maggie! She communicated well with us ahead of time and made the whole process smooth as we were navigating Rover for the first time. Her dog Sparky got along great with our dog and Maggie was nice and tired out in the evening. Thanks again!”

We would definitely use her again.”

About: In 2019, I started my journey foster raising puppies for PAWS with a Cause, an organization that custom trains service dogs. I raised 4 PAWS dogs, keeping them from 8 weeks to a year old. My first 2 actually became certified service dogs! In between fostering, I also raised 3 keeper puppies of my own. I have a female 5 year old lab, a female 2 year old golden, and a 1 year old male chocolate lab. Safe to say I'm addicted. I work remotely which gives me the flexibility to take my dogs out as they need. I go into the office on Tuesdays for a full day, however, I am able to take a long lunch if needed to take dogs out. I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly dogs at home. I have crate-trained dogs. I have taken my own babies to countless dog training classes, picking up a lot of knowledge of dog behavior.
“Lisa is delightful and a great communicator. She is reliable and so good with my senior chihuahua mix, Mika. It is very comforting to know Lisa also has a senior chihuahua, and is very experienced with dog care. I am happy Mika seems to really enjoy her walks with Lisa and was able to get comfortable with her fast. Lisa takes her time and is in tune with Mika’s needs. I feel bad on days I have to leave Mika alone at home for so long for work, so it means the world to me that Lisa makes sure her time with Mika is quality bonding.”

Please give me the opportunity to care for your pet and I promise they will be safe and well looked after! 💖✨ - - - Services I offer: • House sitting (My Basic House-Sitting service includes staying overnight with your pup so they have company and comfort in their own home, along with daytime care every 4-6 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, and cuddles.) • Dog walking (30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day.) • Drop-ins (30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away.) About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and there's nothing I enjoy more than making pets feel safe, loved, and right at home while their families are away. To give some insight on my experience, I have volunteered at my local humane society, caring for both dogs and cats. I then spent some time as a kennel attendant at a dog boarding facility where I cared for dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs. That experience alone taught me the importance of patience, routine, and attention to detail, especially when it comes to special diets and individualized care. Over the years, I've also been the go to pet sitter for friends and family, caring for dogs and cats of all ages. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or extra cuddles, I'm happy to match their routine and make sure they feel comfortable. At home, I'm owned by my sweet gray cat, Misty. Keeping her happy has made providing constant love and companionship second nature. When your pet is with me, they're not just being watched, they're being cared for like one of my own. I can't wait to meet your furry family member!! 🤍 I'm currently working full time in the restaurant industry. 90% of the time my schedule is 4pm-11:30pm Fri-Teu leaving some midday and late night availability. Please don't hesitate to reach out if your request falls outside of my availability as I may be able to accommodate if there's enough time ahead. I look forward to meeting you and your furry pet! 🤍 I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where every pet receives personalized care based on their routine and needs. I carefully follow feeding schedules, administer medications if needed, ensure plenty of exercise and give endless affection. In clients' homes, I respect their space, maintain their pet's normal routine, and provide regular updates with photos for peace of mind.
About: I've owned pets of all kinds starting as a child! Animals bring me incredible joy, and I'd love to bring that joy into your home when I watch yours! I've owned, rescued and loved cats, dogs, rabbits, ducks, raccoons, birds, and squirrels! I currently own 4 cats, all of which were rescues. Two of them brother and sister who I hand raised and bottle fed. I also have 3 dogs, A gaggle a blue heelers, so I'm especially used to high energy pups. Though they very recently left my care due to a separation. I take great pride in the attention to detail I give to the animals in my care. I'm experienced in giving all kinds of medications, to both dogs and cats. In fact, one of my own kitties has kidney disease, and I've been managing his treatment and care 100% alone. Cooking him three meals a day, hand feeding, administering any medications needed, and even giving him at-home subcutaneous fluids. But as always, let's please communicate about the details of your pet beforehand if any special care is needed so we can make sure we're a great fit for eachother! I'm a corporate professional who is very fortunate to work from home, and has really great control of their schedule! So I can very likely work my schedule around your needs! For those whose pets I will be dropping in on to feed or walk, I take great care in making sure instructions are followed, and all the needs of your pets are met! I have an abundance of love to give, so rest assured that they'll get as many scritches as they can handle, and as much fulfillment as I can give while I'm there. I know what it's like to have to leave your fur-family alone, and I'll do everything I can to make this time a positive one for them, and you! I also offer cat boarding, which seems rarely offered. I wanted to offer this because I myself have been in a situation where I've needed this service, and I've never found a place that offers it, and it was absolutely so stressful so try and find a solution! For the kitties that stay with me, I have a completely separate spot in my house that I will have them stay in, since I have kitties of my own. The previous owner of my house actually had this section designed as an in-home salon, so it has a completely separate entrance into my home. As cat owners, we know how sensitive and stressed they can get, and introducing cats to other new cats just adds more unnecessary stress. This separate entrance and room allows for a stress free, safe environment that's large and clean to play and hang in, all to themselves! They will have their own sanitized, fresh litter, litterbox at the ready for them. No need to have to haul your own supplies here! Just bring any food and treats (or any special toys or blankets that you feel might be good things for them to enjoy their stay better, or be more at ease!) Your pets must be fully vaccinated in order to come stay, so please be ready to show proof of up to date vaccinations prior to any boarding bookings. This is for the safety of both your fur babies and mine.
About: I have owned dogs my entire life, I worked in the vet field for over 4 years in various aspects, I previously worked at a dog groomers. I currently have 1 dog and a cat, I used to have lots of reptiles as well! I'm never afraid of any dog and welcome them with open arms. I currently work part time Wednesday - Saturdays pretty consistently, but my days don't start until earliest 830am and I'm normally done between 4-5 (unless we have a late day scheduled). Sunday - Tuesdays are my off days outside of doctor appointments and any other extra curriculars I do ☺️ I do only offer in home services as my older dog is a bit of a rough player and my younger is in service training and I can't take the risk of him being injured. In you home, I will stay with you pet overnight if that is what makes you the most comfortable. They can sleep with me or be crated, whichever is preferred by you. Feeding will always be on schedule and meds can be administered as needed (I have a lot of experience keeping meds straight for my own dogs). A daily walk will happen (distance dependent on dog and weather) and we will play in the yard and enjoy lots of cuddles and belly rubs!! While I love spoiling my own babys, I'll make sure to keep everything as consistent as possible for you!

My friend and I used to dog sit for her neighbor once a month, and I dog walked for my neighbor every day for two years, as well as dog sat for her whenever she went on vacation! I know I may not have experience on this app specifically, but I have lots of experience in real life and I would be a great fit for your needs! I’m currently looking for a part time job so I can go back to college, and my friend suggested I check out rover, which I LOVE the idea of! I will also be moving to Lansing very soon! I can crate your animals if needed, take them on walks, feed and water them, play with them, snuggle on them, give them medication, whatever you need I can do as long as it’s safe to do it! I have been blessed to work and train with many ethologists (behavioralists), service dogs, K-9 units, leader dogs for the blind, and also at Wolf sanctuaries as a veterinary medical specialist throughout the United States. I specialize in pet first aid, senior care, medicating and CPR. Currently taking new clients and am looking forward to meeting you and your fur babie(s). At the present time, I have open availability to do house sitting, dog walking, cat care, obedience training and drop in visits. I will update any changes to my availability often. Pet safety and trust is my number one goal! I would like to first get to know you and your dog or cat through a meet and greet. I would like to assure you peace of mind and for your pet to feel comfortable as well. Will make any accommodations needed! My schedule is flexible, so will be able to cater to your pets needs! I'm also available weekends and holidays for house sitting or drop in visits. (*Additional charges will apply for house sitting & drop in visits during holiday dates*) Even though I have my own spoiled fur baby, please note that he will not be accompanying me to your home. His grandparents are more than happy to watch and spoil him rotten!! :) Please let me know your pet's schedule/needs. If they require scheduled medication or trips to the bathroom frequently. Also, how many hours that they can be left alone during a possible work day. I will definitely make every effort to accommodate a special needs pet ( separation anxiety, frequent medication administering, insulin, feeding tube, etc.(*Depending on the severity of the situation of your pet, please note that there may be additional charges for them during house sitting*)

“Toni was an excellent caregiver for Winston! She took him for walks daily, and I think he was just as sad to have to go as he was to see me when I picked him up. Will board with Toni again.”

“Mandy was great! She kept my dog for over a week and was very flexible with drop off/pick up times. She sent daily updates and the cutest pictures! My dog was very spoiled by her family! I will definitely be using her in the future! Thank you Mandy!!!”

“MICHELLE IS AMAZING!! She has house sat, done drop ins and has boarded our dog many times. She is so thoughtful and compassionate towards dogs. She has a huge fenced in yard that my dog loves. Michelle sends pictures and a daily review of activities and opinions of how my dog or her dog are viewing the visit. I laugh and look forward to reading the fun and lively updates. I HIGHLY recommend Michelle for any dog sitting needs!”

“We're so happy to have discovered Kim on Rover. She is an amazing dog caretaker! She treated our two dogs like her own and helped us feel comfortable leaving them behind. She sent many pictures of the dogs in and out of the house. She paid special attention to our senior dog and made him comfortable. We will definitely use her again.”

“My dog Cooper was very relaxed and at home with Cheryl. I felt at ease with Cooper in her care with his special dietary needs and separation anxiety. I really appreciated how she accommodated my change in schedule due to unexpected travel delays. Definitely will rebook for future dog boarding.”

“Moved to the area a few months ago and have already relied on Marty several times to take care of my furry friend while I'm away. Marty is always excited to see him, and he always goes running into her house to look for the toy basket without looking back. She truly appreciates all his little personality qualities that set him apart, and provides frequent updates throughout the stay. I always know I will pick up my friend happy, rested, and relaxed. Very grateful for Marty and her family, we will be back!”

“My dog loved his stay with Jacqueline! She was very attentive and you can tell how deeply she cares for your fur baby! She communicated regularly with updates and photos while I was away. If I need a sitter again we definitely will book again with her!”

“We are comfortable leaving our elderly dog with Baleigh. She is patient and loving to our Maddie. We receive updates at least daily. Maddie typically does not like going anywhere without us but she seems to be comfortable going there. Highly recommend!”

Zoe is also a sweetheart 😍My dog fell in love with both of them instantly! I can not explain how wonderful and lovely they both are . Will definitely bring my dog back”

“Our dog Ruby loved Holly and her home! Ruby can feel a little scared around new people and Holly made her feel right at home. My family loved all the pictures and updates. We will be use her again!”

“Our dogs had a wonderful time boarding with Stephanie. They spent a week at her home. Stephanie was wonderful, she sent me photos and fun updates daily. Our dogs received lots of exercise in her huge yard and socialization with other dogs boarding there. Stephanie had no problem giving our older dog her medication. My husband and I felt very comfortable leaving our dogs with Stephanie and would absolutely book her again in the future.”
“Our fur babies had the best care at Kelly and Brandon's home! They are the kindest, caring, most loving family. Kelly sent daily pictures and updates that put me at peace knowing that they were having the time of their life playing with Arvon or relaxing. Definitely home away from home💕🐾 Thank you again for your exceptional care!”

“Victoria did an absolutely amazing job watching our young puppy. She sent the best updates that kept us reassured he was having a wonderful time. “Fabulous sitter! She was quick to reply and took care of our babe last minute. She even went out of her way to drop him off for us, and waited 5-10 minutes extra due to our event not being done yet. HIGHLY recommend! THANK YOU SO MUCH!”
