“Dawn literally saved our vacation. I found out two days before our vacation that our doggie day camp was closing due to an illness going around the dogs. I searched other day cares and dog sitters on Rover and everyone was booked! (It is August vacation time!) Dawn responded that she had one spot open and agreed to meet in a few hours for a meet and greet. Dawn put me at ease by asking lots of questions about our dog, Baci, and taking careful notes. We dropped her off the next morning and she stayed a whole week. Dawn sent pictures of Baci playing with the other dogs almost every day. Baci was so happy to see us but I do think she misses her friends at Dawn's. I highly recommend Dawn to watch your dog.”
About: I have been caring for pets of various kinds for over 20 years. I have a spacious yard and house with room to play and snuggle and a child and 2 dogs who would love to give your pet attention. I’m currently on maternity leave for the next few months and home on the weekends so I am available and around to play all day and night. I have a fenced yard and 2 dogs of my own. A great neighbor with sidewalks for walking. I have an open concept spacious house but also have a separated finished basement space to use if needed/wanted.
“Joanne was amazing ! Our puppy Layla stayed with her for two nights in her home. We were a little apprehensive about leaving her seeing this was our first time leaving her alone but Joanne made us feel 100% comfortable and took great care of my pup. she sent us pics multiple times during Her stay. My puppy came home happy which is exactly was I was hoping for. Highly recommend her service she is a true dog lover !”

From the start, it was clear this was a perfect fit—we did a meet-and-greet beforehand, and instantly felt comfortable. More importantly, our dogs were treated like part of the family—they got tons of attention, snuggles, and care all weekend. When we dropped them off, our dogs were so excited they ran right in without hesitation—that says everything. You can truly tell how much Rachel and Henrik love dogs and care for them as their own. “Bo had his first sleepover at John’s and had an awesome visit ( as usual) !! John REALLY knows dogs and we always feel completely worry free that Bo is being well taken care of . And it goes without saying that he has THE BEST time there and comes home happy and tired from all the playtime….you can see it on his face from the pictures John sends us, he is actually “ smiling” the whole time..lol !!!!! Anthony watched my German shepherd last minute about 4 days before my trip. He was great with my dog from moment I walked in. My dog usually takes time to warm up but not this time because it was instant. MADe me so much less stressed on my vacation knowing he was having a great time. Freedom was a huge help when we had to book at the last minute due to a family emergency. They were very nice to Cleo and accommodated her food needs and energy level. They also made a very cute portrait of Cleo and gifted her a bandana, which she is still wearing and loving. I highly recommend Freedom to others looking for a sitter.
Jamie is absolutely amazing!! She was an excellent care taker for our dog.. making sure to keep his meds on schedule... getting him to eat on a schedule when he normally doesnt (he's a grazer!) and allowing him priority position with her on the couch during the few moments of rest they both had. I got a regular stream of photos and check ins about my dog and never had a doubt he was in great hands. The only doubt I had was whether my dog was going to want to come home. She is so great with dogs and I know for sure we will be using her again in the future. Thank you for everything Jamie!!

We left our pup with Debra for his first boarding experience, and I could not be more relieved. I was super anxious, especially since he was dealing with an ear infection, and we were in town for a wedding with no other option. Debra immediately put my mind at ease. She and her family were so kind and kept me in the loop with updates and photos. It was clear she understood his special needs and made sure he was comfy and safe the whole time. I loved getting the regular updates—felt like he was in great hands. By the time we got home, he seemed happy, healthy, and clearly well-loved. Lauren and Howard were absolutely amazing with my dog Brody! From the start, they were incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and made me feel so comfortable leaving Brody in their care.
