She easily followed the schedule we set for food and medications (multiple types with different times for dosage) and provided frequent pictures and updates, which allowed us to really enjoy our vacation. “Our puppy Callie, a chocolate lab had a wonderful experience at Daniel's house. She was able to play in his beautiful backyard, which is totally fenced in. Another dog, a lab was there during her stay, which was perfect for improving her socialization skills. Daniel sent pictures and videos to my husband and I during her stay. Daniel's experience and knowledge of dogs and puppyhood was quite evident. This was her first overnight stay anywhere and it was a success. Daniel has our full approval and Callie will be returning shortly for a longer stay.”

“Couldn't be more thrilled ...our 1 year old Shih Tzu who is still learning and is an overactive puppy can be a bit much to watch all day; so we were very concerned about leaving her with strangers overnight. However Theresa was fantastic not only did she allow us to bring all Peanut's stuff (pack and play crib/playpen and tons of toys, pillow, blanket, doggy dishes etc.) but she understood the fact that because this was all new to our young dog she especially took pains to know what Peanut's needs were. At first Peanut did not even want to enter the home and shied away from Theresa but Theresa took the time to win over Peanut and by the time we left her she was playing with her toys. Theresa sent us pictures of Peanut playing and having fun. We were especially happy knowing Theresa only takes one dog at a time in her home because our dog is small and young and doesn't know how to socialize with other pets (our vet wouldn't allow this until all her shots were completed) and Peanut is from a home with only adults and no small children we worried that other sitters who take in more than one dog or had their own pet might become a problem. However Theresa's policy of only one dog at a time who also doesn't have her own pet, and doesn't have numerous children which might be a concern for pets unused to active kids. Theresa's dog sitting arrangement was an ideal win win for us and Peanut. She will become our dogs sitter from now on as Peanut loved her and her family and now we can relax whenever we need to go out of town or just need a sitter for a day. Thank you Theresa and family you were the best!”

“Donna is terrific! She sent pictures, and she knows dogs. Boarding dogs is what she does, and she's great at it. We loved that we were able to have a meet and greet with her and with our dog, and that she is so careful about the dogs' temperaments before she accepts them, so they will all be safe interacting with each other. She has a big house and a big yard. Our dog had a wonderful time playing with the other boarding dogs for a week (she sent a great video!) and came home healthy, happy, and very tired. We will definitely be using her again!”

After losing our beloved boy earlier this year, we’ve found ourselves missing the daily joy, snuggles, and companionship that come with having a pet. We’d love to share that love with your furry family member—giving them all the attention, affection, and care they deserve. Think of us as your pet’s extra set of grandparents: all the love, cuddles, and spoiling, with a calm, caring presence you can trust. I’m currently working but am winding down a 30+ year career as an educator. I’m available weekends and over the summer right now. My husband is semi-retired and is available Tuesdays and Thursdays all day. One or both of us are also available after 3 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We have a fenced yard and sadly no pets for your baby to play with. We have no children in the house either so your dog will be the only guest and will receive our undivided attention. We will only sit for 1 family at a time to ensure you the highest quality care.
