“Joanne took care of our 3 pets during drop-in visits over a 3-day period. Joanne showed great care while feeding and interacting with Fiona (our 10 year old pit bull), Davlin (our 17 year old frail cat), as well as Moshie (our shy 13 year old cat). Joanne provided detailed information regarding her care for the individual needs of each of our pets during each visit. She also provided numerous photos of each animal while visiting. Prior to her drop-ins, Joanne came over for a Meet and Greet in order to go over details while visiting, as well as getting to meet our pets. In addition, Joanne kept us up to date with each interaction while visiting and any questions or concerns that she or we may have had during the visits. Without a doubt Joanne demonstrates a tremendous amount of care and professionalism in every aspect while working with us and caring for Fiona, Davlin and Moshie. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time.
