“This is two reviews in one for separate visits from Jenna. I have an 18 year old, somewhat active cat who I believe had a stroke almost a year ago. She has traveled with me to 4 states and to China, with countless homes in between, so as you can image she's basically my child. She takes daily medication and her care is my #1 concern. So as you can imagine, traveling for work becomes a challenge and I hate to take her out of her element, having someone come and visit was something I really needed to consider. Since not many people live close by, nor did I want to burden them with having to make a daily trip, I decided to take a chance on this Rover app. I scrolled a little, looked at pictures and some reviews and decided to reach out to Jenna. She looked sweet, compassionate, responsible enough to take care of my little girl, so I invited her over. With such short notice, she arrived the next day (one day before I flew to a meeting), she was on time, articulate, told me she was comfortable giving medication, enthusiastic and took an interest in my cat. Since she told me she could administering medication in our initial interaction, when Jenna arrived I asked her to give Libby her daily pill. I gave a quick explanation on how I give her the pill, and Jenna was able to give her the medication without any issue. As this was my primary concern, it put my mind at ease; I knew she was perfect for me. Over that week, and during a subsequent trip, I received daily updates with pictures and comments on how Libby was doing, how active/inactive she may have been, eating, drinking, and bathroom updates. She played with her, spend time with her which meant the world knowing someone was caring after her and treating her well. I couldn't be more pleased with everything Jenna did. She even went above and beyond and in a pinch ran to my apartment to drop my key off on a day she wasn't coming. Just outstanding! *****”

About: i am capable of administering medication with the exemption of injections, i know CPR in case of choking, i am capable of potty training puppies if needed. i have dogs of my own with different personalities and energy levels so i can adjust to your fur baby´s mood. i am currently available weekends to pet sit in your home or take your pets for a walk i prefer not too early in the mornings but any time after 10am works for me. in my home i have a fenced hard so my dogs can run around, i am very patient with animals especially when they´re young pups and know they need time and effort to behave better.

About: I am recently retired NYPD Detective who has had dogs all 45 years of my life. My Frenchie recently passed and I am looking to do some dog walking and/or sitting. My last few rescue dogs all had a variety of health problems including surgery to remove my Frenchies ear canal rendering him deaf, my Boston Terrier had severe allergies, his dermatologist taught me how to administer immunotherapy shots to him, as well as two of my boxers becoming geriatric and cancer-ridden. So I do have some experience with sickly dogs. I also offer drop in visits for those days your pup is left for long hours alone, I can take them out and play with them to get some pentup energy out and keep them happy while you work. Dog walking is also an option that I offer, any size dog, I can take them on daily walks through the neighborhood, please reach out and we can discuss your needs. I am also insured, to give you peace of mind. Thank you for your time! I do have three younger children all in school during the day so walking or spending time with dogs during the day is something I am seeking. I would also take dogs for sitting, long or short term as long as they are good with children. I would only take one dog/dog family at a time to ensure your dog(s) are treated as family members. I have a fenced in yard, and I have no restrictions on your dogs unless you have those restrictions at your home, ie. no furniture etc. Being a retired detective you can trust me to your home without any worry of theft, as a member of law enforcement for the past 20 years, I value law and abiding the law tot he fullest extent.

I'm a second year student in college that works late afternoon and school in the mornings. On Thursday I'm free the whole day after noon. Friday and Saturday im available after 3:00 PM. Sundays is open availability. Every other day im available after noon until 3:30 PM. I own a dog that i've had for 8 years, as well as look after neighboors pets when they're away - along with my own family members pets. Dogs are taken out more than 3 times a day to use the bathroom, and meals are provided 2-3x a day (depending on owners prefrence). Play time is also very important to ehance physical fitnes and mental stimulation.

About: I have had dogs since I was 3. Any time any friends and family of mine need their pets watched they ask me. During junior and senior year of high school I was enrolled in boxes for veterinary assisting where we cared for large and small animals including dogs, cats, horses, livestock, exotics, reptiles, and rodents. I am currently in college in the mornings but I am free the majority of my day. I take care of my own animals including a cat, two ferrets, a snake, and several fish. I have plenty of time to care for others as well. I will make sure every animal have under my supervision will remain safe and happy.
