Pet care is already a huge part of my daily routine, so caring for animals comes very naturally to me. My own dog, Milo, has a structured schedule that includes walks, playtime, feeding, grooming, training reinforcement, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m very used to planning my routine around a dog’s needs and making sure they feel comfortable, stimulated, and cared for consistently. Starting in June, I’ll be home full-time during the weekdays, which allows me to give pets much more attention and companionship than sitters who may be balancing another full-time job. Because of this, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, consistent supervision, and flexible scheduling for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. I especially love building routines that help dogs feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I don’t believe pet care should feel rushed or transactional.
