I don't engage with neighborhood pets to ensure that your your pup feels safe with me. And while I know that kitties have their own personalities, I am always patient and thoughtful toward their unique needs.

In a client’s home, I respect their routines and space, making sure pets feel secure and comfortable in their familiar surroundings. About: Hi, I’m Maya! I've had a dog for over 5 years, taught him all of his tricks, pet sit regularly for friends, and have had multiple cats throughout my life (even adopted our current cat, Taro). I have plenty of experience with dogs of many sizes and personalities at my previous doggy daycare job, where I’d supervise/care for/play with 15+ dogs at a time. My position required extensive training on dog body language, their various forms of communication, and to detect different types of illnesses. Ever since I was a child, I loved to learn about the many different breeds of cats, dogs, and other animals! As a full-time student at Suffolk CC, along with working a part-time job, my schedule on the weekdays may be a bit hectic. “Nadine is absolutely wonderful with my two senior dachshunds and the senior conure. Before we went away for a few days, Nadine came to the house four times to get to know the dogs and the conure and to spend time with them. The “kids” love her and respond to Nadine as if she were an old friend. Our oldest doxie is a 30 lb standard who no longer does stairs, so he needs to be lifted up and down from the back stoop every time he goes out. The catch is that although the old boy won’t climb stairs, he suddenly thinks he’s Superman and can jump! Nadine quickly mastered the correct lift and block to get him up and down safely. Nadine kept in touch and checked in and out and sent extra pictures each of the three times she visited each day which was very reassuring. I know the dogs were in great hands, and so do they; and I know that because When I got home, they did not rush to see me to complain. They were welcoming and happy and totally at ease. We will absolutely use Nadine the next time we have to leave the dogs(and the bird).”

About: I volunteer with the organization that I adopted my pup from! I not only process applications for the organization, but I actively “babysit” pups overnight (sometimes 3 days at a time) for their fosters who occasionally are away on the weekends.
