About: I’ve owned a dog for decades… as I am recently retired… and will eventually get a new pup after some years to travel… giving luv to someone else’s pup seems like a great way to fulfill my love of dogs. It will always be me personally taking care of dogs. Recently retired from education… weekdays and weekends are free and school vacations. Have own dogs, my whole life but at present my wife and I don’t and are waiting as we fulfill our travel goals. So this seems like a perfect way to get my dog fixed… I absolutely adore all types of dogs. We live in a three bedroom home with a large fenced back yard. My fiancé, Eric has also always grown up with dogs and was responsible for taking care of dogs and his cat while growing up and they all lived will into their senior years. He is great with more high energy and active dogs, going on long walks, or runs and hikes with them. I work full time where I commute Monday-Friday. Weekends I’m home. My Fiancé also works full time but he gets out a little earlier than I do. For weekend stays we are available to give your furry family the most attention and care. If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. She took great care of the fish without overfeeding and provided medical care for one of them. Then she very kindly agreed to water my plants. Pictures and videos everyday. Lots of communication. I’ve owned dogs for over 10 years in my family, I’ve dogsat before in a clients home for a week, whom was also a diabetic, so I had to also give insulin.
