“Couldn't be more thrilled ...our 1 year old Shih Tzu who is still learning and is an overactive puppy can be a bit much to watch all day; so we were very concerned about leaving her with strangers overnight. However Theresa was fantastic not only did she allow us to bring all Peanut's stuff (pack and play crib/playpen and tons of toys, pillow, blanket, doggy dishes etc.) but she understood the fact that because this was all new to our young dog she especially took pains to know what Peanut's needs were. At first Peanut did not even want to enter the home and shied away from Theresa but Theresa took the time to win over Peanut and by the time we left her she was playing with her toys. Theresa sent us pictures of Peanut playing and having fun. We were especially happy knowing Theresa only takes one dog at a time in her home because our dog is small and young and doesn't know how to socialize with other pets (our vet wouldn't allow this until all her shots were completed) and Peanut is from a home with only adults and no small children we worried that other sitters who take in more than one dog or had their own pet might become a problem. However Theresa's policy of only one dog at a time who also doesn't have her own pet, and doesn't have numerous children which might be a concern for pets unused to active kids. Theresa's dog sitting arrangement was an ideal win win for us and Peanut. She will become our dogs sitter from now on as Peanut loved her and her family and now we can relax whenever we need to go out of town or just need a sitter for a day. Thank you Theresa and family you were the best!”

“From the moment we dropped Nessa off until the time we picked her up, we were pleasantly surprised by how completely at home she felt with Marla. Normally, Nessa is very apprehensive when meeting new people, new animals, or even visiting a new place. But from the moment Marla opened the door, our normally shy and hesitant little girl ran right into the house to greet Marla and all of her pets. To say my husband and I were shocked would be an understatement! Watching Nessa happily run off to play filled this mom and dad with so much joy. While we were attending our niece’s wedding, we kept checking our phones, fully expecting a call or text saying Nessa was crying or looking for us. That message never came—because she was apparently having the time of her life! When we returned to pick her up, Nessa was excited to show us all of her new friends. We only wish Marla lived in Connecticut instead of New York. I’m currently working but am winding down a 30+ year career as an educator. I’m available weekends and over the summer right now. My husband is semi-retired and is available Tuesdays and Thursdays all day. One or both of us are also available after 3 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We have a fenced yard and sadly no pets for your baby to play with. We have no children in the house either so your dog will be the only guest and will receive our undivided attention. We will only sit for 1 family at a time to ensure you the highest quality care.
About: I am taking care of pets since I'm young, friends family and friends of family members have counted on me to take care of their animals whether it's for an hour a day a week they know their pets will be loved and cared for and most importantly they will be safe I am a single mom, I have 3 children my daughter Sierra who is 15 and my twin sons Kayden and Anthony who are 11. I was in a Terrible accident about 3 yrs ago left me with a broken back in multiple places,half a dozen broken ribs on my left sides and many other things, So ive been limited with things I can do... But.... I can continue to care and take care of animals which I love, and also teach my kids responsibility, which sometimes when my daughters schedule isnt full she may come and help and play with the animals for a little while or help bring them on walks etc. So needless to say while they are in school I dont do much so i would love to walk, play, and care for your pets! I dedicate myself fully to the animals in my life if I am taking care of your cat or your dog or your animal they become like my own. I put my time and love into them, and if you need help with children too we can discuss that too :) If I'm caring for your animal at my home I have a fenced in yard, love going for walks they have plenty of toys to play with a pool if they like to swim and we'll have lots of love with the family members that are here. If I am taking care of your pets in your own home I will bring them for a walks make sure they're litter boxes are clean they have water they're fed and most important that they're happy and safe and get to play for a while a few times a day!

“Couldn't be more thrilled ...our 1 year old Shih Tzu who is still learning and is an overactive puppy can be a bit much to watch all day; so we were very concerned about leaving her with strangers overnight. However Theresa was fantastic not only did she allow us to bring all Peanut's stuff (pack and play crib/playpen and tons of toys, pillow, blanket, doggy dishes etc.) but she understood the fact that because this was all new to our young dog she especially took pains to know what Peanut's needs were. At first Peanut did not even want to enter the home and shied away from Theresa but Theresa took the time to win over Peanut and by the time we left her she was playing with her toys. Theresa sent us pictures of Peanut playing and having fun. We were especially happy knowing Theresa only takes one dog at a time in her home because our dog is small and young and doesn't know how to socialize with other pets (our vet wouldn't allow this until all her shots were completed) and Peanut is from a home with only adults and no small children we worried that other sitters who take in more than one dog or had their own pet might become a problem. However Theresa's policy of only one dog at a time who also doesn't have her own pet, and doesn't have numerous children which might be a concern for pets unused to active kids. Theresa's dog sitting arrangement was an ideal win win for us and Peanut. She will become our dogs sitter from now on as Peanut loved her and her family and now we can relax whenever we need to go out of town or just need a sitter for a day. Thank you Theresa and family you were the best!”
“We have used John for Doggy Daycare and Dog Boarding and we could not be happier with his care for our Penny. When we adopted her she was so shy and we've been working to bring her out of her shell so we were worried when we first left her but John was so good at making us feel comfortable and allowing Penny the space to get comfortable with him. We got updated pictures, he got her to eat right on the spot (which has been a struggle) and he even had Penny out in the yard and starting to play with his dog, LaVerne. Whenever we pull up in front of John's house now, Penny's tail starts to wag and she gets so excited to see him! It's so comforting to know you are leaving your dog with someone who really cares and takes care of your animals. We are so lucky that we met John and we know Penny will have many more adventures with him! We can't recommend him enough.
