“Chiclet could not have been in better hands. Dawn took such good care of her and eased any concerns I had by providing updates and pictures. Very accommodating and seems to really be a dog-lover. Would give 10 stars if I could. Excellent sitter. Thank you, Dawn.”

“Eliana is the best dog sitter! She takes very good care of Sully and make's sure he gets plenty of walks and playtime. We trust her completely and she takes plenty of photos. We couldn’t recommend her more.”

“Thank you once again Denis and Marina for taking such good care of Hunter this weekend. Hunter kept looking back when we drove away, that tells me he had a blast as usual. I know he loved his long walks on the trail with his new buddies, playing for hours. the Happy Dog Inn is the place to be!!”

“Pleasant, easy to work with and my dog loves her. It was a quick trip and I have to found a sitter, she accommodated my request and make it easy for me to make a decision to book with her and not others. I will use her services again. Thank you for taking care of Rusty”

“Great communication during their stay. Dogs were clearly very happy in the photos and when I went to pick them up. This turned out to be a great alternative to what we've used in the past, and will definitely use Pamela again in the future.”

“Great experience with Kristen! My pup really liked her and her home. My dog is often anxious but she was very relaxed and happy when I came to pick her up after the stay! I really liked Kristen too—very nice person. Highly recommend!!”

“Bella had a great time hanging out with Erin and her family. She got lots of ball time and cuddles. Erin made up feel very comfortable and welcomed our pup. She provided lots of photos and updates for the duration of Bella’s stay. We will be returning customers!”

“John has been caring for my Yorkie for several over night stays. Despite my dog’s anxiety she always settles in to staying at his house. She has made herself at home by taking over his dog’s bed. We will be using him again!”

“Trisha was great, she kept us in the loop with pictures and texts the whole evening. It was the first time we left our dog Jax who’s 1-1/2 old boxer with tons of energy. Thank you Trisha and we will definitely leave Jax with again and again.”

“Amber was the best sitter for our furbaby, Marla. She treated her like her own and took care of her while we were away. Marla enjoyed her vacation at Amber’s place. We will definitely book Amber’s service again.”

“Gerald watched our dog in his home for 10 days, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. Our dog can get anxious when he's away from home, but he was calm, comfortable, and clearly well cared for throughout his stay. Gerald took him on walks in the nearby park and provided excellent care. He was also a fantastic communicator, sending regular updates, photos, and videos that gave us peace of mind and made us feel connected while we were away. I would absolutely recommend Gerald to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. We'll definitely be booking with him again in the future!”

“Marcia is wonderful! Any time Beauford gets to go see Marcia to stay all I have to do is say “Beaufie” do you want to go to Marcia’s house- and he jumps up and runs to the door!! I feel so safe when he is at her home.”
“From the moment Trinity asked questions about Maurice and his care, I could sense she would be an excellent choice. Was i ever right! She was very responsive when i asked how he was doing by sending pictures and updates. Maurice is very shy, so when she sent a video of petting him his first day there, I knew he was very comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Thank you so much for taking such great care of Maurice!!!”

“Freedom was a huge help when we had to book at the last minute due to a family emergency. They were very nice to Cleo and accommodated her food needs and energy level. They also made a very cute portrait of Cleo and gifted her a bandana, which she is still wearing and loving. I highly recommend Freedom to others looking for a sitter.”

“Karishma was amazing!!! She treated my dog like her own. You must be ok with your pet having a vegetarian diet during their stay. She prepared him home cooked healthy meals and offered me healthy alternatives to dog food moving forward. She stayed in communication with updates and pictures of my dog.... happy and being treated like one of the family. She is definitely a animal lover and highly recommended.”

“Dimitri is fantastic! Bowie had a wonderful time at "Camp Dimitri" last week while we were away. We had tons of contact, lots of pictures everyday, and our dog obviously looked very happy and well looked after. He has a big backyard with a pool where Bowie was able to hang out outside for hours everyday, so lots of fresh air and exercise! The dog sitter we've used for several years wasn't available, so using Rover was a last minute solution. However, we will absolutely be asking Dimitri to take care of our canine baby from now on! We're definitely switching! Thank you SO much Dimitri!”

About: Welcome to THE SPOILED DOG INN 🐶 Your dog is never left alone. True 24/7 care in an exclusive home for small dogs only. - After a short break from Rover, we’re excited to be back doing what we truly love — caring for small dogs in a happy, loving home. - We are professional small-dog groomers, experienced pet care providers, Pet First Aid / CPR certified, and small dog owners ourselves. We also have prior veterinary assistant experience and formerly owned the grooming studio inside Petite Pets Puppy Boutique in Huntington, NY - Our home is a dog-loving home whose only “children” have four small paws, and our days are built around the dogs in our care. - As small dog owners ourselves, we understand how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. Our goal is to give you true peace of mind, knowing your dog is safe, supervised, and cared for by people you can trust. - Because we specialize in small dogs every day, we understand their routines, personalities, sensitivities, body language, and the little details that help them feel secure and at home. - We offer exclusive boutique boarding and doggie daycare with a carefully limited guest list, so every dog receives attentive, personalized, hands-on care. - We are comfortable caring for a variety of small-dog needs, including: • nervous or shy dogs • playful or social dogs • senior dogs • special-needs dogs • dogs who need oral medication • dogs who require injections, including insulin or subcutaneous fluids We offer overnight stays, extended vacation stays, and boutique care for small dogs only, 7 days a week. - This is our full-time work and our everyday lifestyle, allowing us to provide true 24/7 care. Your dog is never left alone or unattended. - We keep our availability limited so each guest receives one-on-one attention in a loving home environment. We hope you’ll take a moment to look through our photo gallery so you can see our home, experience, and the environment your dog will be staying in. Safety, cleanliness, and trust are very important to us. - We maintain a clean, sanitary, non-smoking home with a safe, secure fenced yard. Guest dogs are carefully supervised, and our guest list is kept small — typically 1–3 dogs at a time — so each dog receives attentive care in a safe, loving setting. - Our home is cage-free, and dogs are not crated or kenneled as part of our normal care. At night, dogs sleep in our bedroom with us — never crated away, left alone overnight, or placed in a separate room unattended. If your dog is crate-trained and feels most comfortable resting in their own crate, we can discuss that during the meet-and-greet and follow your preferences. - At bedtime, dogs may sleep on our large family-sized bed or settle into one of the comfortable dog beds arranged around us. We provide different bed sizes and styles, along with doggie stairs for dogs who need help getting on and off the bed. - Because our guests sleep in our bedroom and many are welcome on the bed, we kindly ask that dogs arrive freshly bathed or clean before their stay. This helps us maintain the comfortable, clean, home-style environment that makes every guest feel safe and cared for. - You’ll receive regular photo and video updates daily so you can stay connected and feel at ease while you’re away.
“As someone who based their choice on reviews, I had to share one too. Jodie was terrific from the 1st communication which was so fast. We are very protective puppy parents and this wasn’t easy for us to leave our Sonny Boy. Jodie sent us pictures throughout Sonny’s stay and it was so great to see him happy with her. He loved his stay and will definitely be back! Thank you Jodie for your wonderful care! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Kristen was a great sitter! She’s very responsive and easy to work with. She and her husband took great care of our puppy. She sent great updates and videos. We’d be happy to have Maggie stay with her again!”

Dix Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Laurie and her husband Erik took amazing care of my girl Rosie, this was her first time away from me since we adopted her 3 months ago. They sent me updates and pictures every day, and their home has a great fenced in yard that gave me peace of mind knowing she had space to explore and no concerns about her escaping. Overall, Laurie and Erik are just absolutely lovely people who treated my dog as their own and I am so grateful. Would absolutely book them again!!

This is the first time I used Dawn and I have to say, she was fantastic. Very professional meet & greet and I was confident that she was going to follow all my instructions exactly. I was gone for 8 days and I loved that she sent me pics daily making me feel connected to what was going on at her house. I also liked that she had 1-2 other dogs there for my two to play with but it wasn’t overrun with dogs. They still got their quiet time. The only thing I would say is don’t forget to bring your own dog bowls and towels because I forgot and was in a hurry. Luckily I was able to rush over to dollar tree and get some stuff. I’ll definitely remember next time!

Nav is our go to pet sitter for our elderly husky. We have booked Nav so many times for when we travel that may dog gets excited when he pull up to her house. She sends many photos and videos during his stay, and our dog looks happy and relaxed. We are lucky to have found Nav !

Ms. Alicia was able to take me in on such short notice and she did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Shadow! She sent pics/videos to keep me updated on how Shadow was doing during the day, and also when I had a request, she would have no problem doing them. Her own dog, Ocean, also helped Shadow get accustomed to being around other dogs, so that was great as well! With her spacious backyard and amazing personality, I would 100% recommend and will be coming again in the future:)

Sara was wonderful with our dog Chloe! She sent frequent updates with photos and videos, which made us feel at ease. Chloe got daily walks, lots of playtime, and plenty of space to run around. It was clear she was happy and well cared for. We’re so grateful to have found someone who treats our dog like family!

From the moment we met Anna, we knew she was a good fit! She made booking the meet and greet, drop off and pick up super easy. Scout liked Anna’s sweet disposition and I liked that she kept us updated! Scout came home happy and healthy. We would highly recommend Anna to anyone in need of a pet sitter!
