“Lesley was amazing with Winston. Winston is an only child. When he met Lesley, Karen and their 2 dogs (Dyson & Rory), Winston was scared. We stayed for almost 1 hr for meet and greet. Then, I took Winston back 2 more times for meet and greet so that Winston could be comfortable with Dyson & Rory. Needless to say, Winston bonded with both dogs, especially Dyson. Lesley and Karen were very accommodating, kind and attentive to Winston. Karen is home all the time. Winston is never alone. Their house and enclosed back yard is dog heaven. Everything is dog friendly. In fact, when Winston stayed with them, he did not like his dog food that he had been eating all his life, Karen supplemented his food by cooking for him. Lesley and Karen are dog lovers and will go above and beyond for Winston. I got daily photos and video of him. Winston loves staying with Lesley and Karen. He was mopping around the house for a couple of days when we got back home because he missed his doggy friends. I highly recommend Lesley and Karen. Winston will definitely be back!!!!”
About: I am an experienced animal owner! I’ve chicken sat, lizard wrangled and cat entertained. I went through k-9 training with my own dogs. However I am also well versed in the practices of the Monks of New Skete. I’ve had six of my own large dogs, six lizards and a plethora of other small animals. I look forward to time with your pet! I’m currently an art teacher/artist/mom. I follow school schedules, and have no plans to go on vacation. So generally, weekends, vacations and afternoons are the best. I will keep your pets safe and happy! I’ll listen to your thoughts and feelings about your home. I want you and your loved ones to feel comfortable!

“Dimitri is fantastic! Bowie had a wonderful time at "Camp Dimitri" last week while we were away. We had tons of contact, lots of pictures everyday, and our dog obviously looked very happy and well looked after. He has a big backyard with a pool where Bowie was able to hang out outside for hours everyday, so lots of fresh air and exercise! The dog sitter we've used for several years wasn't available, so using Rover was a last minute solution. However, we will absolutely be asking Dimitri to take care of our canine baby from now on! “Rachel and Henrik (and their two wonderful kids!) watched our two Goldendoodles for the weekend, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. From the start, it was clear this was a perfect fit—we did a meet-and-greet beforehand, and instantly felt comfortable. More importantly, our dogs were treated like part of the family—they got tons of attention, snuggles, and care all weekend. Yaina was AMAZING with our dog, Robert. From first communications, to meet and greet, to Robert’s stay at her home, Yaina was kind and easy to talk to. She is clearly great with dogs and understands their behaviors. This was our first time boarding via Rover or with someone we did not know personally and we were nervous but Robert was instantly at ease in her home which made us feel comfortable too. During the stay, Yaina sent us many photos and some videos too. Our boy genuinely had a great time. We definitely plan on boarding with Yaina again for future trips and we would recommend her to all dog parents!
