He’s an older dog with some anxiety issues, and Freedom handled him with so much patience, kindness, and calm energy. They went above and beyond. “Gerald did a great job with my senior foster, Pam. She deals with significant anxiety and back-leg pain, so I was nervous about leaving her in a new space with a stranger, but I had nothing to worry about. She settled in quickly and even felt comfortable enough to trick Gerald into getting off the couch so she could steal his spot. Although she’s usually reluctant to be active, she went on several walks with him. Gerald was also great about sending regular photos and updates, and very flexible when I ran late for pickup. Highly recommended for anyone with a senior or high-needs dog.”

“From the very beginning, communication with Gabby was Fantastic. A couple of weeks before our our trip we coordinated with her to bring both of our dogs to her place for a sort of meet and greet with her and her family (dogs included). Right away our dogs and her dogs hit it off, as they are very playful and loving dogs. We also hit it off with Gabby and the rest of her family as well, as found them to be very kind, responsible, caring and without a doubt dog lovers. Her house and yard located within a nice, quiet neighborhood are very well suited for dogs. This all made the drop off a few weeks later a very smooth process. During our trip, which was out of the country, we were provided with periodic updates and pictures via text messages. Knowing that our little ones were in good hands and most of all, appearing to be their usual wacky selves, made our trip out of the country a very enjoyable one. One thing we were worried about before even having met Gabby was communication. In the end, communication turned out to be A+. About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a ranch-style home, we had dogs of many different breeds, sizes, and personalities, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve also had dogs of my own since I was around 14 and have cared for them through every stage of life, from playful younger years to their senior years. Because of that, I’m comfortable with different temperaments, routines, energy levels, and the extra patience older dogs may need. I truly enjoy being around dogs and would care for your pet with the same attention and affection I give my own. I work during the week, but I’m available before and after work, in the evenings, and on weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine for walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and safe, and I’m attentive to their individual routines, personalities, and needs. Isabella took amazing care of Abby. We have never left our sweet girl with anyone before and we were anxious to say the least. The Happy Dog Inn truly lives up to its name! Marina and Denis came highly recommended, and they exceeded every expectation! Misty has separation anxiety, so seeing photos of her happily playing, relaxing, and clearly having the time of her life was incredibly reassuring. We had such a great experience with Annabelle watching our Luca! This was our first time leaving him with a dog sitter who wasn’t family or a close friend, and our first time using Rover. Annabelle made the entire experience so easy and reassuring. She had great communication from our initial meet-and-greet through the entire stay and sent us pictures of Luca throughout, which really put us at ease.
