“Alicia was very polite, responsible, and friendly. She kept us updated with photos and texts during our absence . The dogs seem to love her and I would definitely recommend her service.”

“Tori was amazing with all four of our animals (two dogs and two cats). Our dogs can be a challenge and she successfully won them over with patience and treats. Her daily pictures and updates allowed us to enjoy our vacation much more than we expected before discovering Rover and meeting Tori.”

“She was fantastic! She put my mind and nerves at ease while I was away as I have an older pup. She kept in touch, kept me updated, and sent pics along the way. I will definitely be using her for future trips.”

“Max was so wonderful with my two pets! I felt super confident leaving my usually anxious dog and cat with him; I got plenty of updates and pictures that put me at ease while I was out of town. I will definitely reach out to Max again to take care of my fur babies.”

“We are so grateful for Natalee - she stayed 12 days with our dog and has been an absolutely AMAZING person to work with. She was consistently communicating with us, sending us pictures and updates, and even was willing to deal with a unexpected pre-trip injury with our dog which left him in a cone + pain meds for the entire 12 days! We are so happy we have found Natalee because we can travel stress free and know our dog is in loving hands!”

“We were very upfront with Marsha that our rescue dog can be slightly aggressive and does not like strangers—we had almost given up on finding a sitter. Although Marsha never rushed the process, always listened to our concerns, and used techniques that helped our pup build trust slowly. She’s a great communicator with lots of messages, pictures and video. It was so nice to be away and not feel concerned. She’s a great sitter for anxious pups!”

“Jennifer was a fun, attentive, affectionate and responsible caregiver for my 7 month old kitten. She played with her a lot, fed her and cleaned out her litter regularly, and sent me lots of pictures and messages updating me on my kitten’s days. She also went above and beyond on cleaning my house and laundering the linens before I got home. Totally unnecessary, but very much appreciated. I would highly recommend her services.”

“My dogs and cats adored Dieja from their first meeting. She took great care of them, was very helpful and flexible when our flight was delayed, and the house we came back to was immaculate. Definitely recommend Dieja.”

“Porter is EXCEPTIONAL! Pebbles ADORES him! I read on here that he was very dependable (which was the biggest thing I was looking for). My experience with him was that he’s very dependable, he’s very dedicated to my pet’s care and safety, he kept my home clean, and I came home to a very happy pet. I could tell she had so much fun with him! I could not have asked for a more positive experience. Thank you, Porter!”

“Devon did a great job taking care of my two young cavapoos for 2 weeks in my home. She handled their complex diets well and was willing to co-ordinate visits/walks from family and friends during my absence. She also responded to all of my queries about how the pups were doing as this was my first long vacation without the dogs. She was all very accommodating about their daily schedule as well as any issues with the house and snow storm!”

“Our pups were clearly so loved and cared for while we were gone! We received regular updates and photos which made us worry-free. Towels and sheets were in the washing machine and the dishes were clean in the dishwasher which we appreciated! It was a great experience for us and our fur babies.”

“We were nervous about leaving our fur babies having had a negative experience (not through Rover) in the past but Cara was amazing! She took the time to meet us and our puppies ahead of time, rolled with it when our one dog became two as we adopted our dog’s littermate only two weeks beforehand. She was super communicative sending us pictures and videos. We knew our dogs were getting lots of love and that our house was well cared for!!! I hope we can book Cara again in the future.”

“Skye is excellent and dependable. She’s did great with our cats, who are often very shy around a new person. Gracie was very well cared for during my time away. Will definitely work with Skye again.”

About: When I was in first grade, I fancied myself a dog-trainer, and I helped a family friend "train" their rescue pup (we'll never know if I was actually helpful or not). Since then, I have loved love taking care of dogs, whether it's going for a walk around the block, teaching my own dog new tricks, or giving good belly rubs. Most of my experience comes from caring for my dog at home and petsitting for family and friends. I'm a grad student with a flexible schedule these days, so whether it's a lunch-time drop in, evening walk, or petsitting for the weekend, I'm happy to help out. I can provide petsitting/drop-in/walking care in your neighborhood, home, or wherever your pup is most comfortable. I would just ask that you let me know whatever makes your pup unique (reactivities, favorite foods, lovable quirks), so that I can take care of them as best I can.
“Zach was amazing with Acacia, she’s super timid and he was very patient with her. I loved receiving photos and updates from him, and he really eased my mind while I was away from Acacia. I hope to work with Zach more in the future! 10/10 service. He also left the house exactly as we asked!”

“Hope was excellent and did everything we needed to take of our 3 dogs. She was responsive and sent updates with photos multiple times a day. Will definitely have her back!”
“Allison was amazing. Willing to meet before we left town, sent us a picture every day, was flexible when we needed her to come earlier than originally planned, and left our house cleaner than she found it! We will definitely use her services again in the future.”

“Ashely did absolutely amazing with Winnie! I could tell our pup had lots of fun and was well taken care of, and we got lots of pictures and videos of our baby throughout the week!”

Brentwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
Virginia did an outstanding job caring for my 2 pups in my home while I was away. One of my pets has ongoing health issues, and Virginia tended to her with care and kindness, while ensuring the other had plenty of cuddle time. Apt was tidy upon my return, which I appreciated. I shall definitely be booking Virginia for all my out of town trips if possible.
Rachel was amazing! She gave our little Toby so much attention. We received photos and videos daily of them playing with his toys and snuggling on the couch. She not only took great care of Toby but she offered to shovel our driveway after an 8" snowstorm and also shoveled paths on our back patio, clearing some grass too so Toby could get outside!

Cate did a fantastic job caring for our cat, who needs medical attention. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly very comfortable handling special care needs. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our cat was in such capable and compassionate hands. Communication was great, and we came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat. We would absolutely book Cate again and highly recommend her—especially for pets who need a little extra care.

Tori was amazing with all four of our animals (two dogs and two cats). Our dogs can be a challenge and she successfully won them over with patience and treats. Her daily pictures and updates allowed us to enjoy our vacation much more than we expected before discovering Rover and meeting Tori.

Skye and Joseph were great. We got updates on our cat and dog every day along with photos, and we were really appreciative of the additional communication when our dog tried to eat something off the ground that he shouldn’t have while he was on a walk, and then again when they were concerned that the cat hadn’t eaten all of his food. They were both completely fine, and it was really nice that they seemed very concerned with our pets’ wellbeing. Our house seemed well taken care of, very tidy once we got home, and just like we had left it.

Rachel was a great sitter for Sirius! She visited with him all day in my home for a couple of days. She gave Sirius his medicine and kept him company- he was excited to see her each day. Rachel was also very respectful of my home and communicative throughout the visits. Definitely recommend her!

Lucy was great! She communicated well and did a great job with our two little dogs. One of our dogs is very old and wears a diaper at night and Lucy didn't seem to have any problems with her care. All went well and we would certainly recommend her and work with her again.
Kate is the only person I use to take care of my 3 dogs. I think I’ve used her about 6 times now, all for multiple days. They all have different personalities and one is scared of people but loves Kate. She’s responsible, communicates well, and always leaves my house better than when I left!
