“Lynn was so caring and loving to my dog. I could not have wished for someone more caring!!! Thank you for your information too it was timely and the photos were very appreciated. I would welcome her to care for Dakota again and will! Best caregiver Ever!”

“Amanda was absolutely amazing. She was so patient with my shy and previously abused pup!! She was so patient and went above and beyond. I can’t say enough good things about her and will continue to book her and recommend to all of my friends!”

“Marc was exactly what we needed! As soon as Bailey saw him, she connected with him and it was such a heartwarming moment for me. Marc was gentle, but confident, attentive, while allowing Bailey to feel her way through our first meeting. And Marc helped put me at ease as well. All in all, it was a very positive experience. I’m grateful to have found Marc and will definitely be using him in the future.”

“Brady was very professional and responsive to messages. From the moment she came in the door the first time, she started connecting with our pup and putting him at ease. On her first visit without us he was a bit unsure of a new person in the home, but she immediately knew how to win him over with treats and affection and the pictures indicate he would be very excited to see her again!”

“Laura is very reliable and we appreciate her showing up as scheduled, taking care of our high-maintenance cat and even helping out with a few extra things. We have used her several times before and will definitely rebook with her!”

“Sophie is our go too when we are out of town. She is great at communicating and flexible. Always keeps the house tidy and follows instructions to a tee! Dependable and prompt! Birdie and Pickles.”

About: I have taken care of multiple family dogs and cats with years of experience. I enjoy keeping the dogs active through play and walks on a regular schedule and providing them a safe and fun environment to live in. I currently work part time at home with a flexible schedule so can fit in with your schedule either day time, most evenings and weekends. We have a fenced in yard, plenty of space inside and out to play and a 10 year old Goldendoodle to play with. I will pay close attention to your pet and make sure he/she feels at home. Can provide kennel if needed.
“Robyn was amazing with our boys. The dogs can be a lot for some people, but she treated them like they were her own. Robyn went above and beyond our expectations in every way. We would definitely recommend her to anyone.”

About: Growing up, my grandma always had a dog, and my family has had a number of dogs throughout the years. The dogs that my family has had ranges from small dogs (<20 lbs) to now two bigger dogs (~80 lbs). I am used to dogs of all kinds of temperaments, and senior dogs hold a special place in my heart! I currently am working part-time, so I can fit in pet care around the days that I do not work. In addition, my schedule is very flexible, especially with drop-in visits. I make sure to update my availability regularly, as well! I’m more than happy to go along with your guidelines on house/ pet sitting. I make sure that I read the guidelines very carefully and will contact you if I have any further questions. I live at home with my mom, so pet care in my home is off the table unfortunately.
“Kendyll was absolutely amazing! She was very responsive, took the time to win over our shy kitty, and overall just went above and beyond. It gave me great peace of mind to know Kendyll was dropping in to check on things.”

About: I've grown up around cats and dogs and have been helping to take care of them for almost as long as I can remember. I've worked at a dog daycare during breaks from school for four years, and I have plenty of neighbors and family members who can vouch for my experience caring for dogs and wrangling cats that get outside. I'm a recent college graduate looking for work; pet care will be a great side hustle while I'm working on getting into the field I got my degree in, and I'm very willing to be flexible with my schedule. My current living situation doesn't allow for me to bring the pets I'm watching home with me. However, I am more than capable of caring for pets in their own home.
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Boys Town is $20
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Boys Town
Haeli dropped in to walk our dog Rocky and did a wonderful job! She was punctual, kind, and clearly comfortable with dogs. Rocky came back happy, calm, and well exercised, and I really appreciated the updates and communication during the visit. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We would absolutely book with Haeli again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care.

Jessica is so great!! My puppy is 8 months old and is going through a new fear period. Jessica was so great and worked with us and him until he got comfortable! I’m a nurse so my schedule is very inconsistent so Jessica being super flexible is awesome! She also saved us one day when my roommates flight got delayed and went over to let our pup out. She does puzzles and crafts with him! I would highly recommend!!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Boys Town. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
