About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, and I love getting to know each dog’s personality and what makes them unique. I also have experience working on basic training, including leash manners and commands like sit, heel, and wait. I’m not just there to check in and leave, I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and helping them have a fun, positive experience. Just a college girl side-hustling by doing something I genuinely love! I’m a full-time student at UNO, but with classes only two days a week, my schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets! I’m also taking a walking/jogging class this semester, so getting outside for walks is already part of my routine. It works out perfectly because I get to stay active, and your pup gets a fun walk and some extra attention! I treat every dog like they’re my own! I know how important it is for your furry friend to stay active, happy, and entertained, so I make sure every walk and visit is filled with plenty of attention and love. I’ll take the time to get to know your dog’s personality and needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. My goal is for every pup to come home happy, tired, and feeling extra loved!

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. Currently have a golden retriever that loves walks and all things outdoors! So can make sure your pup has a good time! I’m currently in school studying physical therapy at the college of Saint Mary’s. I have a flexible schedule so let’s chat and see what times work the best for me and your pup!! I prioritize safety and trust by following routines carefully, securing doors and leashes, maintaining a clean environment, and providing frequent updates so owners feel confident
“We are so glad to have Ben visit our Izzy on days when we have to be away from the house for too long. He provides a fun, interactive and loving experience for her that really breaks up the day and makes us feel so much better about having to be away. Thank you, Ben!”

About: I've grown up with always more than one animal in the household, and loving them is second nature. When my family and friends need someone to help take care of the pets, I am always the first option! I have taken care if lots of cats and dogs, but a few fish throughout the years too. I have experience not only with general pet care such as, feeding, walking, playing/enrichment, but also with giving medications. Some dog breeds I have worked with (or lived with) are German Shepards, Yellow Labs, and mutts that are a mix of medium/bigger dogs or small dachshund mixes. And a lot of different cat personalities! The distant and quiet ones who keep to themselves and the ones who need your attention the second you walk through your door! Either way, I have always loved them no matter what, and continue to love them still. I am about to start a part-time job that has me working either from 10-3 or 11-4. I am always willing to wake up early or stay up late because I have the late start time of the work! In my home, my cat never has a missed meal, he has clean and running water 24/7, and a handful of toys available for enrichment! A handheld laser always nearby for sudden play time is anecessity! As for my client's pets, I will always follow instructions step by step and detail by detail, no matter if feeding times includes something silly to get the fur baby to actually eat their food, I will always do it! And I am not the kind of person to just stop in, do what I need to do, and leave. I will make sure the pet is well loved and knows that I am there for them.
“Sonia is a life saver! She was flexible and was able to let our pups out when our flight was delayed and canceled! She really came through in our time of need. Absolutely amazing care giver!”

About: Hello! I’ve worked with pets of all ages, from young puppies to senior cats. As a cat mom myself, I know that pets are family, and how important it is for your pet to be with someone they can trust while you’re away. I have extensive experience providing attention and active engagement with all types of pets. I would love to care for your pets and provide them with a welcoming, trusting face while you're away. I work full-time, but have options to work from home if needed, and can use lunch breaks as a potty break for your furry friend. I love spending time with pets, providing them with enrichment, and a loving, interactive environment. I care for pets by providing them with proper attention and watching their behaviors to determine cues. I have extensive experience with both cats and dogs, providing them with a welcoming environment with someone they, and you, can trust.
“Allison is fantastic! Thoughtful, attentive, and does what's best for you and your pets. She put up with a lot of unforseen issues from my end and helped with things I forgot to do before leaving. Wonderful sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Morgan has allowed me to transition to my new job with ease, knowing my dog is in good hands during the day. She is incredibly flexible with my schedule and goes above and beyond when I leave her special instructions for the day. I was a little nervous having a stranger enter my home at first, but she not only takes amazing care of my dog, she goes out of her way to keep my home protected when she leaves. I would no doubt recommend her services to anyone!”

“Brady was so good with Beau and we will definitely have her back! She snuggled her on the day she got shots and wasn't feeling well! She managed her puppy nipping well by redirecting her with toys! She was so wonderful and we are so pleased we found her!”

“This is the first time I’ve ever used a pet sitter outside of my family. Linda put my mind at ease asking important questions and having great communication with me while I was gone. I have an older male dog who I felt could be a challenge but, she handled him with no problem. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask for Linda’s help again!”

“Eli was right on time. Very professional and attentive to my cat Ninja. I'm looking forward to them becoming more familiar with each other. Eli was very polite, pleasant and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend Eli for your pet's needs.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Ralston
Danielle is nothing short of spectacular. My pet is normally very nervous and reserved, but he warmed right up to her, and the pictures confirmed he enjoyed her visits immensely. She went above and beyond, ensuring he was well taken care of and loved, and she mixed it up on the playtime so he didn't get bored with the same thing every day. Her daily summaries are fantastic -- detailed and informative, which put my mind at ease. I hope she never moves or stops being a sitter, because Danielle is THE gal for us! Five stars, four paws up!

Megan is amazing ! So sad to say this is our last visit due to relocation. Megan was the first pet sitter we met off rover I was hesitant even getting the app but after meeting her she’s the only person we’ve trusted watching our pets when we go out of town ! She’s truly the best. She cares about the pets like there her own ! She’s easy to work with very accommodating and overall just a very down to earth person. We’re sad to see her go but I know she’s going to be great whoever gets to have her next !! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this girl she deserves it ! Thanks for everything !!

Another 5 star experience having Charlie do daily drop ins for our cat. She takes the time to ensure he’s given care and attention, and documents each visit with photos and a thorough status update. We appreciate her kindness with our cat and her attention to detail. We are repeat customers due to her great work!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
