I move at the pace the animal sets, and that’s why they tend to settle around me. I’ve been around everything from easygoing pets to the ones that test your patience, and I know how to keep things smooth without making a big deal out of it. For me, good care is about consistency, awareness, and not overcomplicating things. Animals pick up on that, and they respond to it.

When I’m caring for pets in my home, I keep things steady and predictable. I make sure they have a clean space, fresh water, regular feeding times, and enough attention or quiet time depending on what they’re comfortable with. I pay attention to their routines and adjust the environment so they feel safe — whether that means giving them a cozy corner to settle into or keeping them active and engaged. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their setup and their rules so the pet’s routine doesn’t get disrupted. I handle the basics — feeding, cleaning, litter or yard time, meds if needed — and I keep an eye on their behavior so I can tell if something’s off. I move calmly and respectfully in their space, and I make sure the pet feels like everything is normal even though someone new is there. No matter where I’m caring for them, I focus on consistency, awareness, and keeping the animal comfortable. Every pet has their own way of doing things, and I’m good at reading that and meeting them where they are.

Very flexible and easy to work with
Kept me abreast of how they were eating, playing, and even chilling around. Took great care of my house and fur babies. Asked plenty of questions. Took lots of notes for terminology, eating schedules and amounts and their play activities.
