About: I have experience caring for all kinds of pets. I am able to provide care for all different ages, a good variety of breeds I am even able to care for dogs with various health concerns/medical needs. (Blind, allergies, deaf, post surgery, anxiety, etc.) I am very big on positive affirmations and reenforcing good behavior. I love training dogs! I think it can be a lot of fun. (Right now, I’m teaching sign language to both of my dogs. Our oldest is now deaf and has separation anxiety, so we’re working on basic commands.) I work in the mornings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and, Thursdays. Typically, my lessons run from 9-12. I teach swim lessons all year and set my own schedule. I have a fenced in back yard, that is big enough for the dogs to run around and play! We’re always outside during the warmer months. As long as they have a bowl of cold water, my dogs will stay outside until they choose to come in. In my home, there is a basement. It’s not very big, but it is a nice spot to retreat to. It’s a good space to relax in as there is little outside noise that gets in. (Our laundry room is in the basement. If we run the washer or the dryer during the 4th of July, you cant even hear the fireworks going off. This is a plus, for living with dogs).
About: I have volunteered with a PetSmart partner organization dedicated to rehoming cats. I worked directly in their adoption center providing daily care, socialization, and enrichment for the resident cats. In addition, I served as a foster parent for young kittens, giving them attentive, round-the-clock care, basic medical monitoring, and a safe, loving environment until they were ready for adoption. About: I have my own reactive dog I’ve learned so much about. In the 8 years we’ve had him, we have been able to watch his growth, and my own, as we’ve learned what his needs are. I have successfully brought a puppy into our home and trained him alongside our older, reactive dog. I understand the need for love and patience. I am a teacher in the Papillion district and would love to be involved in the community. I love animals, being outside, and creating relationships with new people. I am open during the summer and nights and weekend when school starts back up! I am experienced with my own reactive dog. Megan is amazing ! So sad to say this is our last visit due to relocation. Megan was the first pet sitter we met off rover I was hesitant even getting the app but after meeting her she’s the only person we’ve trusted watching our pets when we go out of town ! She’s truly the best. She cares about the pets like there her own ! She’s easy to work with very accommodating and overall just a very down to earth person. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
