Attentive family to love your pet!Omaha, NE

****Please note...due to high demand and a large repeat client base, I am currently only taking repeat clients or referrals from existing clients. Sorry for any inconvenience****

My family raised English Springer Spaniels when I was growing up. I have worked for a veterinarian, trained with police dogs, and assisted with obedience and puppy classes. I have also worked with horses. I have owned Springer Spaniels, Rottweilers, German Shepherds and currently a Golden Doodle. I worked as a police officer so I have experienced many situations involving animals, including rescuing dogs from abusive situations . I have passed my love of animals on to my 6 children!

I offer overnight boarding and daycare with drop off times between 7am and 8 pm. Boarding rates are for 24 hours and daycare rates are for 12 hours. If your boarding stay extends beyond 24 hours, a pro-rated daycare booking will be added. If your daycare extends beyond 12 hours additional rates may apply. I also offer dog walking and drop in visits to those who live within a 3 mile radius of my home. I will consider going further but with a negotiated rate.

I will feed your dogs based on your preferences and will take serious any dietary issues and medical precautions. I am good about separating dogs while eating and making sure dogs with dietary concerns and allergies are safe.

The Momo Motel - Premium CareOMAHA, NE

Hello Everyone!

It's really nice to meet you! My name is Momo and this is my Motel. Let me tell you a bit about it and my family. I live in my motel with Mommy, Daddy, and my two feline brothers. Daddy was a groomer for about 5 years. Mommy was a vet assistant for a few years before moving on to taking care of other humans, so they know how to keep us looking and feeling our best. From bows to band-aids, they do it all!

My older Brother Bubba is an 11yr old Tabby cat that loves everyone and his naps in the sun. Daddy says that as a kitten, Bubba "claimed him" by marking his backpack. Gross!

Church is an almost 1yr old Angora that loves to play and hunt for bugs. Daddy calls him a 'Ham' but says he isn't food. We've had him since he was born and was small enough to fit in a shoebox. He's been around dogs his whole life and love to play with me.

My motel has a huge back yard that's totally fenced in. That's where I like to chase toys and the occasional bunny. It also has one of those neato alarm systems that makes lots of beeping noises, so it's secure too!

Can't make it out to see us? That's ok! We can come to you! We offer full pick up and drop off services. We know that sometimes babies can be older, have special needs, or sometimes be scared to leave the safety of their own den. In cases like these, or just for the sake of convenience, we also offer full sitter service.

You can rest assured that Mommy and Daddy will love and take care of your fur babies like their own. They won't love them as much as me of course, but really close!

So give us a try! We look forward to serving you, and hope to hear from you soon!

Kristi's Pooch Palace West OmahaOmaha, NE

Dog rescuer and foster family turned dog sitter! We are true huge dog lovers and very knowledgable in all things DOG. I have been around dogs my entire life and have spent my whole adult life doing volunteer dog rescue, fostering, and serving on the board of our local all-breed rescue. Dogs are treated like family here and I am home almost all of the time with them. I have 2 sons that love and respect animals and have grown up with dogs all around them. We have a built in doggy door and a large backyard with a locked privacy fence. To me, dog sitting is more about helping people and their fur babies out and less about making money. I had been doing it for many years prior to starting with Rover, and I even quit my beloved nursing career to take on dogsitting full time. Dogs have my heart. I believe there is nothing like a home environment and lots of love and spoiling when you have to leave your pets behind. I have all sizes of crates for any dogs needing crated, stainless steel food bowls, and all sorts of supplies, but you're welcome to bring your own if your dog prefers it that way. I'm very laid back and relaxed. Flexible with drop off and pick up times with no extra charges, as well as no extra fees for giving meds, treats, etc. My home is their home!

My place isn't very big, but your dog will be happy spending time with me. I have had many dog and cat sitting jobs over the years with dogs of all sizes.

Special needs dogs we're the place!Omaha, NE

Two experienced caregivers reside in this household. If your dog requires medications, physical therapy, special dietary restrictions, insulin shots, etc.; rest assured, we can take care of your baby. We have individual guest rooms for your dog to stay comfortable and secure in the rare instance where we should need to be away. Your dog will NEVER be left unattended with an unfamiliar animal. If you have more than one dog, or dog and cat combo and are comfortable with them sharing space that would be the exception.

Why I love dog sitting

I have owned, trained, and cared for dogs since childhood. I currently own one dog and a cat.

Dog Lover Home! Home full time!Omaha, NE

Hi everyone! We are all HUGE dog lovers, so caring for doggies is the best job I could have ever asked for. I have tons of experience doing dog boarding for a few years now. I am home full time, but we do leave occasionally for errands and activities we attend. We live in a first floor apartment so potty breaks are easy, and tons of space to get cozy! We allow dogs on the furniture and in our bed, our home is theirs too when they stay, we treat all doggies like they are apart of our family. I have cared for older dogs and have experience giving medicine if needed. Dogs that we accept need to be potty trained and not known to mark in the home, and get along great with children. We do not accept puppies. Thanks for reading, I cant wait to meet your pups!

Dog-loving family, home full-time!Gretna, NE

I have loved all animals and especially dogs since I was a small child. Growing up we had dogs and many other animals (including horses!). Neighbors often asked me to dogsit and walk their elderly dogs when I was a kid. Our family is home full-time and your dog will get tons of love and affection. Easy access to a fenced yard and your dog can go out as much as he/she wants (my own dog expects the sliding door to be revolving). :) Experience with older dogs who need medication or have special needs. We are excited to meet your dog and give them a fun, safe, loving place to stay while you are gone. Safe, quiet neighborhood on a quiet street. Full-time care and attention.

Drop off/pick up times are 7:00 am - 9:00 pm. If you need to drop off earlier than 7:00 am please plan on bringing your dog the night before.

Dog boarding per night is billed for each 24 hour period. If a dog needs to stay later on pick up day, there may be an additional day care fee assessed.

Home Full Time / 40 lbs & underPapillion, NE

First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I am a full time stay at home mom to fur babies and one tiny human. We recently relocated to NE in November from Nashville, TN. I also watched dogs on rover at our home in Nashville. Please review my entire profile before requesting to book with me. It is important that we are 100% on the same page.

I believe your baby should have the best care while you are away and for you to not feel guilty for having to leave them behind. I will make sure that there will be smiles upon miles. I can assure you, that your fur baby will be treated Legit like a baby and like my own. I send pictures daily, but I really do enjoy taking their adorable photos, so... sometimes I can get carried away!

Why texting/messaging is important when you are on your way:

• While you are coming to my business, you are also coming to my family’s home. We do things like shower, cook, eat, run personal errands, and make doctors appointments all around our clients’ and dogs’ daily schedules. I basically am working 24/7 besides when I’m sleeping (sometimes not so much) I love my job, but I also value my personal time with my family. Your text lets me know that you are on your way.

• While the dogs are out playing in my home, it leaves them vulnerable to be affected to every-time someone pulls up or rings the doorbell. Some dogs think they are going home, some do not like strangers, and this can cause stress on them. I like to have them as calm as possible and to let them feel safe, when there is a pick up or drop off. Your text lets me know you are on your way.

• I plan EVERYTHING around when clients are dropping off and picking up. This includes the dogs’ playtime, if they are being supervised in the yard, when I let them out, playing indoors, meals, ect. This even includes any activities for my child. If you tell us you will be here at a certain time, we plan on it. I do understand that schedules do not go as always planned and am extremely flexible. Your text lets me know you are on your way.

A little about me:

I have been around animals my whole life. I just love them so much! I have always been around pets, my mom owns a grooming shop and boards as well (in Chicago). So at a young age, I would help take care of the pets and charge her a small fee. I have had at least over 25 years of experience caring for animals. My uncle is also a veterinarian, so I have learned a lot!

Your baby will be treated just like my own: queens or kings. My pets love to lounge on the couch and soak up as many kisses and cuddles as possible. We have a doggie stroller for them, because they are too prissy for grass or being on the ground outside in general , but enjoy their "walks”. Your baby will go on as many walks as desired. We have a fenced in back yard as well. Your baby will never be left unsupervised ever. I always watch them no matter what the weather condition.

PLEASE NOTE:

I no longer do Meet & Greets. I have been stood up way too many times and I plan my day around them. That is time being taken away from not only the fur babies I may be watching, but also my child and my fur babies.

Instead I offer doggy day care. If you are new to rover, I can also provide you with a promo code for $20 off. This way, I can meet both you and your fur baby. This allows me to bond with your fur baby and to determine if we are a good fit. If we are a good fit, that balance will be credited and go to your dog boarding booking. Day Care is offered only on Wednesdays and Saturdays, some Tuesdays. Drop off time: no earlier than 7:00 am; Pick up time: 4-6 pm

Hours for dog boarding - drop off time: No earlier than 7:00 am; Pick up time: No later than 7:00 pm.

Because I do have small children, there will be NO pickups from 12:00-2:45 pm.

• There is a 2 night minimum*

Fenced yard and Friendly petsOmaha, NE

Thank you for looking at our profile. Andrew, the kids, and I (Crystalyn) are very excited to get to know you and your furry friend. We have a fenced yard in Field Club, very close to the Field Club Trail. I recently graduated nursing school and accepted a position at Boys Town as a nurse (see availability for meet and greets below). Andrew is a behavior analyst that works with children in the community. We have a Wheaton Terrier named Max, a Terrier mix named Doogie, and two cats named Luke and Leia. We love meeting new friends and we look forward to hearing from you!

Given our professions, we both work full-time and are home in the evenings and on weekends. Having your pet stay with us would keep them in the same routine that they are used to having (given that you work full-time as well). We realize that some families prefer to have someone who is home full time and unfortunately are unable to offer that at this time and we appreciate your interest.
