“I can’t say enough good things about Jaclyn. She not only helped us out in a last minute emergency, but our dog was welcomed with open arms as if she was her own. She also sent sweet pictures and updates throughout the timeframe she watched her. 10000% I would recommend her to anyone. She really is the best!”

“Nicole and her family seemed to do a great job taking care of our dog. She sent updates everyday on what they did and how she was doing. We picked Sunny up tired, happy, and healthy. Thank you Nicole.”

“Amanda was a lifesaver and amazing human from start to finish! We needed to board 2 dogs for 5 days and she said no problem. The night before our trip, our youngest dog was sprayed by a skunk! Despite 2 baths and our best efforts, the pupper still stunk and Amanda graciously accepted our booking!! We are beyond grateful to her for putting up with our stinker for 5 days. She seriously saved us during a very stressful time and we were the lucky ones for getting to board with her. Thank you thank you!”
“My dogs had a great stay with Stephanie and her family. They were well taken care of and happy. Stephanie was easy to communicate with and sent pictures and updates while we were away.”

“This was the first time we used an in-home boarder and we couldn’t have had a better experience! Emily and her sweet family were wonderful with our little Lola and we’ll definitely use her in the future!”

“Chelsea is a very kind person. She took great care of my puppy. She provided pictures daily. She did her best to make him comfortable. Charlie came back happy and very calm and content.I recommend her without hesitation.”

“Samantha was amazing with Nala! She watched her for us this weekend and kept me updated the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind. I really appreciated the updates and knowing Nala was being well taken care of. We will definitely be booking with Samantha again soon! ❤️🐾”

“Melissa was the perfect choice for our pup, Tito! She was so attentive and caring. He was a rescue and this was his first time away from us… 4 months after his adoption. I was worried he would think we abandoned him. She kept me updated and loved him like her own. Soon after drop off he was comfortable and having fun playing. We will definitely use Melissa again for any future needs.”

“I was so nervous to leave my pup at a complete strangers house but it went so well. Lynsee sent me messages, pictures, even a video of my dog throughout the night. Our dog played so hard with her dogs that he didn't move the while next day. It's was great. Highly recommend”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for friends and family for over 10 years, giving me plenty of hands-on experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and needs. I understand how important it is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and I treat every dog in my care like they’re part of my own family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. Dog sitting fits naturally into my regular routine because I’m able to plan my day around giving pets the time, attention, and care they need. I enjoy spending time with dogs, going for walks, playing with them, and making sure they’re comfortable and happy. I’m responsible with my time and can work pet care into my schedule while making sure each dog gets plenty of attention and isn’t left feeling alone. My goal is to make pet sitting feel easy and stress-free for both you and your pet. I provide attentive, responsible, and personalized care for every pet, while staying in my home. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of companionship. When caring for a pet in a client’s home, I treat their home with the same respect and care I would my own. My priority is making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.
“Super friendly, beautiful home on top of it all has frenchies. So very knowledgeable about this type of breed. Next vacation I will be using her. Was updated everyday about my Berkie and didn’t have to worry about my fur baby, thank you so much”

“Kelly was a wonderful caregiver for our dog Daisy for 10 days while we were on vacation! She welcomed her into her home, treated her like her own, and sent us updates along the stay. I highly recommend Kelly!”

About: I've had dogs for almost 30 years. I understand their temperament, needs, and can recognize when they're in need. I've bred dogs, so I've cared for them from pregnancy, to infancy, to end of life. I've had dogs since I was a child, so they are always factored into my daily routine. I live 10 minutes from base and I set my own hours, so I can come home to take care for them as frequently as needed. My dogs have access to food and water 24/7. I own my home and have a fenced in back yard. I'm military with a clearance, so my trustworthiness is undeniable. I live a stable life, so clients don't have to worry about their pet while they're at my home.
“I highly recommend April and her family. They took wonderful care of my pup. They were very responsive the entire time and also administered my dog's medication well. I absolutely loved getting all the picture updates while I was away! Plus, their sons were incredibly sweet with my dog. I will absolutely be booking with them again!”

“Ashley and David are so great and took wonderful care of our Senior dog, Buddy. This is the first time we have ever used Rover for boarding and we are so happy to have found Ashley for his second home. We are definitely using them again in the future, thank you for being so kind. It means so much to us that he isn't going to be in a kennel for extended stays.”

About: I have been pet sitting for friends and family since I was in jr high school. I currently have 1 dog 3 fish, and 2 humans I keep alive! I'm patient, I have lots of energy but also like to chill if that's what your pup would prefer! I've recently made some major lifestyle changes to make myself more flexible and accessible for my family! This gives me the chance to be available about anytime of day. I would love to meet you and your pets! At this point my calendar is fairly open, I am flexible and willing to work with moving and changing schedules. Most of my day involves school pick up and off and being a taxi to evening dance classes, which is easily done with or around the schedule of an extra furry friend or 2. We have 1 Brittany. She she has full use of all upstairs furniture, a fully enclosed backyard and probably too many snacks! They are happy to welcome new friends to sit on their sofas!
“She took really good care of our puppy. She would update me all the time with pictures and statuses. She definitely knows what she is doing. And her vet tech experience shows. The most patient person we've ever met. We will be using her services again!”

“Summer had a great time with Alex and Sarah! They kept us updated and sent us photos and videos regularly, which made us feel at ease. Thank you for taking such good care of Summer!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Richfield home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Richfield.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Richfield sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
