I have also been trusted to dog sit at their house for 5+ days before. I have had dogs and cats my entire life and couldn’t imagine my life without them. Daisy can be stubborn on walks when my husband isn’t present, but Eva followed Daisy’s routine, encouraging her to walk even though she didn’t go as far as she normally would. She kept a close eye on Daisy’s behavior and called us immediately when concerned about a chronic health issue. Our rescue Fritz was diagnosed with heart worm disease recently and the vet appointment for his treatment happened to be when we needed to be out of state for my husband and I’s wedding. Our dog was a stray before we got him and has a difficult time warming up to people.
