Pet care experience

Full-time dog & cat person 🐾💕

After 20 years in corporate banking and consulting, I traded my suits for sneakers and a whole lot of lint rollers — and hundreds of Nebraska dogs and cats have stolen my heart since. 🥰 My corporate background gave me something that matters just as much as animal love: dependability, clear communication, and the kind of reliability you can actually count on week after week. This is my full-time career, not a side gig. That means your dog’s walk happens on schedule, rain or shine, and you’ll always hear from me. I’ve walked and cared for dogs of every size and energy level — from chihuahuas smaller than my cats all the way up to a pair of St. Bernard sisters who combined weighed over 250 lbs! I’ve worked with 10-week-old puppies, senior dogs with mobility needs, and everything in between, including dogs managing medications, insulin injections, and age-related special needs. I love them all. For walks, your dog sets the pace. We can power through new routes for mental stimulation, sniff every single thing on the block, or keep it to a quick potty break — whatever works best for your pup. I’m also happy to reinforce your training cues consistently so every visit supports the work you’re putting in at home. Have cats in the mix too? I’ve spent my whole life being owned by cats and I know how to handle even the most skeptical ones. Your whole crew is in good hands. 🐱 I require a meet & greet before every new booking so we can talk through your dog’s routine, quirks, training preferences, and anything else I need to know to take great care of them.

Danielle was awesome! She really went the extra mile. Our pets can be somewhat skittish, yet they warmed up easily to her. She posted several pictures and shared detailed notes entailing both that was done and the emotional state of each of our fuzzies. We will definitely book her again!

Danielle was an amazing Rover sitter for Oakley over the 4th of July! She was incredibly kind and gave Oakley so much love and attention while we were away. Her updates were thoughtful, and the adorable photos and notes gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that Oakley was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We came home to a happy pup and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely book Danielle again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter.

Danielle did a great job with our 2 cats while we were away. She provided plenty of updates as well as photos, and I felt very reassured knowing that she was caring for our cats. I would not hesitate to use her again in the future.

Safety, trust & environment

Weather Policy: I come prepared for all conditions and your pet’s safety is always my priority. For dangerous weather — ice, lightning, extreme heat or cold — we’ll make a plan together, whether that’s a quick outdoor potty break followed by indoor play, or a reschedule if needed.

Pets

A typical day

We’ll agree on a visit window that works for both of us, and then the fun begins! I show up ready to give your pup my full attention — whether that’s a brisk walk on a new route, a leisurely sniff-fest through the neighborhood, or a quick potty break and some couch cuddles. I follow your lead on routines and training cues so every visit feels consistent and familiar for your dog. You’ll get a photo update after every visit, and I’ll always flag anything worth knowing about. Every dog is different and every day looks a little different too — and that’s exactly what I love about this job.
