About: I have always been a dog mom, since the start of adulthood. I was raised with cats and dogs in the home. Professionally, I am a child mental health therapist, and as part of my prior training in Psychology, I completed a field experience at the Nebraska Humane Society using behavior modification to train dogs. I have spent many years housesitting, dog sitting and cat sitting during my professional schooling. As my stepchildren are almost all grown and out of the home, I have found myself with some extra time and would love to help your family with care for your fur babies. I have experience with senior pets as well as giving medications. No reptile experience. I currently have a very flexible schedule and I’m able to make my own schedule at work. This will allow me the flexibility to care for your pets at various times throughout the day and evenings. I have a fence yard and two pets of my own at home. However, as I have a friend that rents a room in my home, I am able to housesit overnight and take care of pets in their own home so they don’t have to be displaced. I am also open to whatever schedule works for each family, for drop in care or walks.
About: I got my first dog when I was 15 years old. I potty trained him myself, took him on multiple walks a day, and spoiled him rotten. He lived for 16 years. My future puppy is 3 weeks old and will be a service dog for me. I plan to train him myself with professional guidance and also get him certified as a therapy dog! About: We have love and snuggles to offer your fur baby while you are away. We have a large fenced in yard, with plenty of room for zoomies. A large couch for all the snuggles. Young, old, big, small, we love them all. We are foster parents for tiny humans. Amanda works out of the home, but Rae is a stay at home mama and is almost always available for pick up/drop off, potty breaks, check ins, daycare, etc. Your fur babies will enjoy the quiet house during the day and love and attention in the evening and weekends when the kids are home. We have two orange tabby's who run and hide or are all up in your business. Cats have their own agenda! We currently have two daycare dogs that come during the day. Brooks is a sharpa lab mix, he gets really excited and the sharpa nose comes out. He calms down within 5-10 minutes and then is an old man on the couch. Penny is a black lab and is super chill. Both dogs have always done great with any other dogs and cats that come into the home. My 14 year old daughter wants to be a Vet someday, so she enjoys making new fur friends. We also have a 4 year old girl who is very gentle with her fur friends, and a couple other littles that enjoy a kiss every now and then. About: Pet's aren't just animals they are family members! I have worked at a veterinary clinic for a combined 7 years and am currently the Practice Manager at a local Veterinary Clinic. I have an 11 year old Pug, 3 year old Doxador (1/2 Dachshund 1/2 Labrador Retriever (yup.. you read that right, she’s one of a kind) and a 7 year old Cat.. I love them so much, they are my babies! I love caring for pets and making them feel as comfortable and as relaxed as they can be while being out of their element and routine and I hope I have the opportunity to take care of yours!! I do currently work full-time as well as my husband. I do only work a few minutes away so I do stop in 1-2x’s during the day to give potty breaks, lunch, medications, etc. Besides brief stops at home around lunch my husband and I are out of the house for about 8 hours a day. My dogs usually have free roam of one of the bedrooms during this time. All dogs that stay with me must be current on heartworm and flea and tick prevention unless directed otherwise by your veterinarian. All dogs must also be current on vaccinations unless directed otherwise by your veterinarian as I want to keep mine and yours healthy and happy. I do require a meet and greet before any stays as it is so beneficial and important to make sure I meet your needs and to ensure things go smoothly. I only take dogs from the same family at a time. If I am watching a dog from one family I will not be available to watch a dog from another. Unfortunately this does hinder my availability but I do this for the safety of all dogs involved and to make sure I can provide the very best care to each pet. About: Having two cats myself, I understand the need and want for someone you deeply trust to take care of your animals and that’s the person I want to be for someone who might need it. I work early mornings at a coffee shop, normally get off at the latest 3pm, depending on the week! I am able to drop by or stay before and after work! I always have to give them love whenever I see them, and I make sure everyone has food and fresh water available.
