About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. From 10 pound mini poodles to 100 pound golden retrievers. I’ve been trusted to dogsit, walk and take care of my families for years. My girlfriend kera and I have watched dogs of all sizes for the last few years. I am a student and kera works fully remote. Easily able to take care of pets. Being able to take care of them during the work day isn’t a problem! Our apartment is near grassy areas and parks, easily able to walk and take them to pets to play. Plenty of space for pets to relax.
“Paige was not only incredibly communicative, she also sent so many photos of our kitties and respected their wishes as the days went on! We are so pleased with the care she gave to our fur babies! Paige made us comfortable to be able to leave town knowing our kitties were very well taken care of! We will definitely be hiring Paige again for any of our next out of town endeavors!”

“Laura took great care of my cat riddle while I was away. She followed all feeding instructions, sent updates, and I came home to a happy, relaxed kitty. I’d definitely book with her again”

About: With 10 years of experience, I’ve cared for animals of all ages. Surviving puppy and cat zoomies, grumpy senior cats, and everything in between, with love, patience, and plenty of snacks. Hi! I’ve got 10+ years caring for various animals. My days are wide open to spoil, play with, and look after all your pets! 🐶🐱🐭🐰🐹 I will respect your space, follow all your rules, and ensure your pet receives loving, attentive care without ever being neglected or overlooked in any way.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for 10+ years, from cats to giant dogs. I have two dogs of my own, and have had cats in the past, so I understand the individual needs of each animal. Senior dogs have a special place in my heart. I’m currently working part time, 3 days a week! My schedule changes week to week, but I am open and flexible to changing my schedule! I can easily crate or move your dogs if I need to! I am eager to earn their trust and am willing to bribe them with treats. I understand each pet has different needs and I am adaptable to them!

“Very reliable. While we were away from home for an extended period of time she was able to drop in to let our two dogs outside, play with them a bit, keep them company, and give them treats. Thanks, Ashlee!”

“Deborah was great! When she first came to meet my dogs she got right down on the floor with them! I loved that! She had great communication and even sent pictures. I have birds and Deborah didn’t even hesitate to say she would take care of them too! She was amazing. I would definitely recommend her and use her again in the future!!!”

“I'm very pleased with Julia's drop in visit. She was very thorough and engaged in activity with my pup. She let met know when she started and ended visit & included pics. Which I appreciate so much!”

“Alex goes above and beyond. She made herself available to watch Teddy last minute and the photos she takes are some of the best action shots I have of him! Shes wonderful and we love her!!”

“Abby was fantastic! She was very thorough and made absolutely sure everything was on the level when it came to taking care of my dog. She went above and beyond with care and kept me updated and informed the entire time. She even watered a couple of flowers for me. Thank you, Abby!”

About: I’ve helped my momma foster animals- specifically cats weening off the bottle and dogs from the shelter. Have had a plethora of animals growing up. I currently go to dental school at creighton but I have plenty of time for drop ins and some dog walking! Weekends are also easy for me to help anyone in need. My cats are easy as they play with each other while I’m gone, but I play with them while at home and have plenty of dog experience as well from growing up with all types of animals!
“Chase was excellent with my 2 pups! I have a special needs dog that needs a little extra care and attention and Chase was on it. I’d love to have Chase over again for future pet sitting needs”

“This was the second time we had Kassi watch our cat, this time for 8 days. She was timely and communicative, so I felt I could trust her to care for our cat. I could also tell she did her best to follow the care instructions.”

“This was my second time booking with Brittney to drop-in for my cat. Brittney is always super responsive and communicative. Thank you for helping with the last-minute request, it was a huge help to me!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Omaha with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
