About: I’ve had dogs all my life. Currently have a golden retriever that loves walks and all things outdoors! So can make sure your pup has a good time! I’m currently in school studying physical therapy at the college of Saint Mary’s. I have a flexible schedule so let’s chat and see what times work the best for me and your pup!! I prioritize safety and trust by following routines carefully, securing doors and leashes, maintaining a clean environment, and providing frequent updates so owners feel confident
About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. From 10 pound mini poodles to 100 pound golden retrievers. I’ve been trusted to dogsit, walk and take care of my families for years. My girlfriend kera and I have watched dogs of all sizes for the last few years. I am a student and kera works fully remote. Easily able to take care of pets. Being able to take care of them during the work day isn’t a problem! Our apartment is near grassy areas and parks, easily able to walk and take them to pets to play. Plenty of space for pets to relax.
“Kassi was a life saver when we had to leave town last minute for an emergency. We also didn’t know how long we would be and she was able to step up and help for additional visits. We really appreciate her flexibility and reliability. Thanks Kassi!”

“Linda provided excellent care for my cat while I was away and was very good about sending photos and videos. I will definitely hire Linda again to check in on my cat.”

“She is very attentive and shows my cat so much love and attention!!!!! I know my cat is taken care of properly whenever she comes over. Will definitely be rebooking!!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for over 40 years. My friends and family often ask me to dog sit for them. In home visits, walks, playing at the park, and administering medication are all options I can provide. I usually work in the evening, So I am usually abailable on the mornings and any day that I have off. I’m available to board pets, drop in visits, take your pup for a walk, and anything else needed. I have a very friendly, very energetic border collie who would love to play with your dog and keep them company. There is also a park next door to me where they can go for long walks and smell everything!
“Paige was absolutely amazing! She took wonderful care of our precious kitty (who doesn't like just anyone but adored her!) And sent adorable photos. It made us feel so much more safe and comfortable to have her looking after him and also checking in on the house. Will absolutely book her again in the future.”

“First time I used Rover.com & so glad my first time using, app was having Brittney booked. She was very attentive to both dogs, including myself; by letting me know when she was there along with what & how both dogs are doing. Thank you again Brittney!!!”

“Laura was so good with my kitties. She sent pictures and they loved her, which is a feat because one is extremely shy. The fact that Laura could get a picture of Edith says it all. I highly recommend Laura.”

“Brooks took great care of our dogs while we vacationed. One of our dogs had an injury with stitches before we left and Brooks was very conscientious about monitoring her wound and sending us pictures. He even repaired her cone when she managed to take it off. We highly recommend Brooks for any of your pet care needs.”

About: Yes, I am absolutely going to talk to your pet like they understand every word I am saying. 😂 I have loved animals forever and have years of experience caring for my own pets and those belonging to friends and family. I am happy to handle the normal stuff like food, water, walks, litter boxes and playtime, but I am also the person who will learn that your cat only drinks from the bathroom faucet and your dog refuses to poop unless you walk counterclockwise around the block. Basically: tell me how your pet likes things done, including all of their weird little routines. I will follow them, give them plenty of attention and send you pictures so you can see exactly what we are up to. I work from home and make my own schedule, so I am pretty flexible! I can usually make mornings, afternoons, or evenings work, and since my schedule changes from week to week, I keep my Rover calendar updated with when I am actually available. Your house, your pet, your rules. I want to know exactly how you normally do things so I can keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible while you are gone. Before our first visit, tell me everything: feeding instructions, medications, leash rules, escape-artist tendencies, favorite hiding spots and anything your pet absolutely should NOT do even if they try very hard to convince me otherwise. 😂 I will follow your instructions, keep doors and gates secure, never take your pet anywhere you have not approved and send you updates and photos so you are never wondering what is happening back home.
About: As a pet owner of 28 years, I know how stressful it is to leave your fur babies behind for hours on end, and my goal is to relieve you and your pet of any worries! I love taking dogs for walks for stimulation and activity. Your dog will receive my care with attention to pacing, any health concerns, and lots of fun! My schedule changes weekly, meaning I am very flexible for your needs. Generally weekdays during normal working hours is when I am the most free! As a walker, I don’t offer services from my own home but would love to keep pet parents updated with photos of my walks with your pets!
“Gabrielle was incredibly flexible when one of my kitties got sick right before our trip, and was able to accommodate the extra visits she needed as well as administering oral meds! She sent lots of pics with each visit and I was so grateful for the peace of mind.”

“Thank you so much for watching my kitty Lady! It is so nice to find someone who sends you pictures and is professional and loves animals. Abby cared for Lady wonderfully. Will definitely book again.”

About: There’s nothing better than coming home to a happy dog and a wagging tail! As a longtime dog mom myself, I know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of love and attention when you can’t be there. I’m self-employed, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to work with pet parents to find a routine that works best for their pets. I offer drop-in visits, walks, daytime pet sitting, and overnight stays in your home or mine. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, from energetic puppies who are still working on potty training and routines to senior dogs who may need a little extra patience, attention, medication, and care. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal schedule and keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible while you’re away. Whether your dog needs a walk, a game of fetch or tug-of-war, some backyard playtime, meals and fresh water, or simply some company and plenty of cuddles, I’m happy to give them the attention they’re used to while you’re gone. Every pet has their own personality and routine, and I want you to have peace of mind knowing yours is being cared for like I’d want someone to care for my own. I am self employed and work from home most days so I have plenty of time for snuggles and walks! On days that I do leave home for appointments, I am usually not gone for long and if running errands, I can take pets with for a car ride! I have access to a private fenced dog run area perfect for getting some time to play off leash. We also live downtown so there is no shortage of places to walk and explore. If your pet is more of a couch potato, we can lounge and relax inside!
About: I have experience caring for a variety of pets, making sure each one gets the attention, exercise, and love they need. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks or playtime, and keeping pets safe and happy while their owners are away. I am very open to making it my responsibility and giving it my time and effort! I can’t wait to dedicate my time & love to your pets!♥️ I have had my own pup before, and I currently have two cats and they are extremely spoiled and loved! I also have a niece that’s a dog that I always am babysitting!

Candy took great care of our two elderly pups while we were on vacation. She was reliable, on time, gave updates regularly, and had great communication. Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our pups. My pups need some extra care in their senior years and Candy handled everything from medication to doggy diapers. I will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!

5 stars for Natalie! ⭐️ She was super professional, patient, and really tried her best to get my dogs to come outside, even though they were being stubborn. I really appreciate her effort and how well she took care of them. I would definitely recommend her and have her again!

Jack is an awesome dog sitter!! Very reliable and understanding of the personalities of our dogs for drop in visits and dog walks. We were very comfortable with Jack caring for our dogs in our home while we were away and he kept us well informed during his visits. Highly recommend and we will book again!!

Raina met all my expectations! I have never used a drop in service before and she did a meet and greet so my bigger dog could adjust to her. It was a very hot weekend and she still interacted with them outside so they could get a good break and then let them lounge in the ac after. Highly recommend her!

Sarah & Nicholas are amazing! Super flexible, great communication and very friendly. We did a quick initial visit to let our puppy get to know them and it went great as well as our drop in visit! We felt so comfortable and happy knowing that we found someone reliable to help us out when we need it. Life savers!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Omaha with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
