“She did an AMAZING job with my kitty! She made him feel so loved. Kept me updated with photos and texts letting me know how he was doing. He loved her and we can't wait to book her again!”

About: My mom started fostering dogs when I was 2 years old, so I've been taking care of dogs my whole life! I would love to help you take care of your dog(s)! I also have experience using various no-pull harnesses and gentle leader head collars for larger dogs. I have no qualms about taking care of "controversial" breeds such as Rottweilers, Dobermans, or Pit Bulls. I'm available for morning, evening, and weekend check-ins. I'm perfectly comfortable and experienced at administering oral medications and/or taking care of senior dogs and cats. I have a fenced-in yard for frequent potty breaks and play time. Adult pets must be spayed/neutered to stay at my home. I try to keep my Rover calendar up to date so you can see when I'm available! Please reach out for any specific dates needed! Boarding: I treat your dogs like my own! They get to play outside and sleep on the furniture with my dog! I'll feed them per your schedule! Sitting: I'll try to keep the routine as normal as possible for your pets! I'll send pictures throughout the service!

“Meagan was a great sitter with our two pups. She connected with them immediately and we felt very comfortable leaving them in her care. Meagan also maintained good communication with us whole she was pet sitting. We would definitely recommend her to others.”

“I couldn’t have found someone better than Jordan. I am new to the city and I was leaving town for a few days. I had thought about daycare and I tried one day, but my dog didn’t really seem to like it much and the thought of having her there all day made me anxious because she wouldn’t be in the comfort of her own home. I decided to give Rover a shot and found Jordan. We did a meet and greet and he ended up staying for an hour playing with my dog and telling me a bit about himself. I could tell he is genuine and cares about helping people and loves animals. He took great care of pepita while I was gone and was able to relive me of the stress of leaving her with a stranger. I I will continue to use Jordan on a weekly basis just so Pepita can see her new friend.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. From 10 pound mini poodles to 100 pound golden retrievers. I’ve been trusted to dogsit, walk and take care of my families for years. My girlfriend kera and I have watched dogs of all sizes for the last few years. I am a student and kera works fully remote. Easily able to take care of pets. Being able to take care of them during the work day isn’t a problem! Our apartment is near grassy areas and parks, easily able to walk and take them to pets to play. Plenty of space for pets to relax.
About: I have been around dogs my whole life and have always loved to take care to them and help out! My friends and family like to rely on me for help! I am currently working full-time but I have time in the mornings before I work, at lunch, and in the afternoons to help out when i’m needed! I can help out a few days a week! I have a fenced in yard and one dog that loves to be outside and play with other dogs! I like taking my dog on walks and playing with him! I also would love to do drop in visits so that the dog is comfortable in their own environment!
About: I've house sat and pet sat for family and friends since my youth as favors. Most pets tend to warm to me fairly quickly and let me carry them or pet them on the first meeting. My professional career is focused in child care and development. I've worked with 5-18 years old in various positions. My last position was teaching and caring for teenage youth, who were transitioning from incarceration to their parent's home, at a group home. I am used to dealing with crisis under pressure with a calm demeanor and resolving it to the best of my ability. I am CPR and First Aid trained and certified in non-violent crisis management. I am currently available for all the services I specified in my profile Monday through Friday from as early as 10 am - 7 pm. I am also available for overnight house sitting jobs. While house sitting, I take safety/health of the pets and security of the surrounding area as the #1 priority. When I took care of my pets and others i. My own space, I'd block off any areas in the home that could be damaged or cause injury, if a pet got into it. I always made sure to engage with the pets I cared for, whether, playing fetch or running around with them. I made sure they expended that seemingly bottomless tank of energy.
“Wonderful experience with this sitter. Ashley showed up for my kitty every day and tackled all my requests. I would feel very comfortable asking her to sit for my fur baby again.”

“Morgan took great care of my Jefferson over the Thanksgiving holiday, going well above and beyond to take care of him and to make sure he was having a good time with me multiple states away. Morgan was very communicative throughout the entire process – before and during the booking – and sent great pics, which made me feel really comfortable my old boy was in great hands. Seeing how happy he was when I got home only affirms that. Absolutely would recommend Morgan to anyone!”

“Katarina was amazing! She really helped us out this weekend, covering for our regular sitter, she took excellent care of Hazel. She offered before hand to do meet our pup if necessary and kept great communication, as well as taking tons of cute photos to send in the Rover card. Thank you!”

“Thanks so much for letting the boys out and hanging out with them for a little bit! I really enjoy knowing I can rely on someone to take care of them while I’m away at work. I will be using Breanna in the future for my dogs. She was on time and super easy to communicate with. Provided a nice report card and pictures. Thanks so much!!”
“She did an amazing job watching my tabby Norma! She was always on time and included notes for all of my visits. She treated my cat like her own and I really appreciate that in a sitter. 100% rebooking her!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
