“Raina was an amazing cat sitter! When my apartment building gave us the incorrect key for her to enter the building, she was so patient and made sure my fur babies still were fed that day. She’s phenomenal!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 15 years! I’ve grown up with pets my entire life and have been pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors since I was in 4th grade. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats and absolutely love them both! I also spent 3 years volunteering with a bully breed rescue, where I gained experience caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m currently attending graduate school in Medical Physics and enjoy spending my free time with animals. Whether your pup needs a fun walk or some extra exercise, or your cat needs some companionship and care while you’re away, I’m happy to give your pets the attention and love they deserve. I’m comfortable with both small and large dogs and will always treat your pets like they’re my own. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends! 🐾 I currently work overnight at a hotel and attend graduate school, which gives me a unique schedule with plenty of daytime availability for pet care! I carefully plan my schedule around classes and work so that I can give each pet the attention they deserve. I’ll always be upfront about my availability and only accept bookings I know I can give my full attention to. 🐶🐱 Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities. When caring for pets in their home, I treat their space with the same care and respect I would my own. I follow your instructions closely, maintain your pet’s normal routines as much as possible, and make sure doors, gates, and other areas are secure. I’m mindful of keeping their environment clean and comfortable, and I’ll always leave your home just as I found it. Most importantly, I want your pets to feel safe and relaxed in their own space while you’re away. 🐾
“We found out last weekend that I would be having a c section this past Monday. Right away I messaged Alyssa to see if she would be available to do some drop ins on our two dogs and luckily she was! Alyssa is always so communicative, shares lots of pics, and shows our pups so much love. We will continue to have her watch our fur babes in the future for sure!”

About: Hi! I’m Olivia, and I love taking care of animals! I have 10 years of experience taking care of many different animals including senior, special needs, puppy & adult dogs, large & small breeds. Cats, kittens, guinea pigs, various small animals; bunnies, rats, mice, fish, you name it. I even ran my own hamster rescue, having 18 hamsters at once, years ago. I’ve volunteered at the animal shelter growing up because I just love dogs so much! I’ve been pet sitting for friends & neighbors for 5+ years now. I have had 5 dogs throughout my childhood, probably would’ve had 12 cats too, if my grandpa wasn’t allergic, safe to say i’m addicted to animal lovings! I currently have a Great Pyrenees & lab mix currently that are spoiled rotten. Need someone who understands your pets special needs- like medicine, potty breaks, and the dog who won’t eat their treat until you turn around and look away from them? I’m your gal! This is more than just a job for me, it’s dedication & passion! I can do whatever will meet your babies needs, short or long term! Housesitting experience aswell. I’m amazing with animals & am very friendly, trustworthy, & dependable. I offer overnight boarding, pet & house sitting, doggy daycare, drop in visits & lots of love! I work part-time as a server, in the mornings from 5:30am- 11:30am on Thursday & Fridays. Sundays from 5:30am-2pm. Otherwise I have open availability for your furbabys needs. Your baby will be cared for around the clock, and there is always somebody home to watch the pups! I have a fully fenced in huge backyard with my two friendly dogs, Serenity & Halo, to keep yours company with outdoor supervisions and playing & exploring with my dogs. If needed, my dogs can be kept away and your dogs have their own private room, and or also kenneled when needed, we have a large kennel unless provided. I am also available for in house pet sitting aswell as walks, check-ins, etc. I have experience with in-house and just got done watching my neighbors 3 dogs for a month long pet & house sit. Your pup will be treated as one my own babies! Dogs are allowed on furniture around here. Our home is clean & mostly dog proofed. Will provide picture updates & videos. Love gardening and can keep your plants alive while you’re away.
“Jordan was great meeting our dog who has some stranger fear issues. Got enough trust to give Haru a few treats in our first session, which is quite impressive for that dog. Would definitely recommend.”

About: With 11 years of hands-on experience caring for both my own pets and others’, I specialize in cats and dogs — I know how to read their body language, keep them comfortable, and stick to their routines. Since I work from home, your pet gets consistent attention throughout the day, not just quick check-ins. And because I don’t have other pets in my home, your pet gets my full, undivided attention — no competing for space, food, or affection with a resident animal. Pet care fits naturally into my everyday life, not just around it. My work is flexible, so I’m either home or able to come back frequently throughout the day — your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches. I’m available all seven days of the week, so there’s no gap in coverage between weekdays and weekends. Boarding • Your pet stays in my home with no other pets competing for attention. I keep feeding and routines on schedule, and since I work from home, someone’s around for most of the day. Drop-ins • I follow whatever routine you’ve set — feeding, medication, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, and playtime — with a photo update after each visit. Walks • One walk a day, paced to your pet’s comfort level, on-leash and supervised the whole time. I pay close attention to their cues, especially with cats and small-to-medium dogs, where I have the most hands-on experience. *Every visit ends with a photo, so you always know your pet is happy and cared for.
“Linda provided excellent care for my cat while I was away and was very good about sending photos and videos. I will definitely hire Linda again to check in on my cat.”

Being able to take care of them during the work day isn’t a problem! Our apartment is near grassy areas and parks, easily able to walk and take them to pets to play. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
