About: I view each dog as a unique individual that needs love and care based on their needs and personality. I understand that some dogs need to be tired out in order to relax and some would just prefer belly rubs on the couch for hours. I love spending time outside and going to the gym so I would love to take your pup on a long walk to get their energy out if that's something they need! I do have experience caring for elderly and handicapped dogs as well and I know they require lots of love and patience. I really value the safety of your pet and home as my first priority so anything I can do to accommodate you and your dogs needs I am more than happy to do so. I like to send photo updates to keep you in the loop and will always defer to your preferences and instructions when caring for your pup. I started petsitting when I graduated high school because I wanted to spend more time with animals and I've been able to meet so many amazing people, and even more amazing dogs ;) over the years. I now have 8 years of experience petsitting, from drop in visits/walks, as well as extended stays in homes caring for multiple high energy or handicapped dogs at once. While I staying in your home, or if I am just dropping by to take your pup on a quick walk, I am very conscious of safety and privacy. I understand it takes a level of trust to allow someone in your home when you are gone and am especially aware of locking doors behind me when coming and going, as well as respecting your privacy. While living there I volunteered at a shelter for 5 years called “4luvofdog.” I would host dogs needing a temporary place to stay while awaiting their “furever” home.
