About: My husband and I have a three year old golden retriever and she is our baby. Our girl is showered with love and we’ll make sure your pup is too! We love dogs and can’t wait to welcome yours into our home. We also have an infant in the home so if your pup doesn’t do well around babies we will not be the best fit for you. I have a very flexible schedule! I’m home with our baby, so I’ll be very accommodating to the needs of your pet. My husband works out of the home, but he will also be around and available most weekends to be home if I’m unable to be. I want to be sure you and your pet are comfortable! Whatever your baby needs is what they’ll get: pets, cuddles, walks, play time. I’m flexible to be able to meet your needs :) between myself, my husband, and our dog, yours will be well cared for and entertained!

About: I’ve pet sat for family and friends the last three years and have recently joined the pet care community! I’ve watched cats and dogs, ages ranging from babies to seniors, and care including feeding, walking, giving medications, and more. If you have special accommodations please don’t hesitate! I work in education so my summers are practically free, which means I can do mid-day check ins, walks, and more! I just ask for roughly 2-3 days notice:) I live in an apartment with two cats, and both are friendly towards cats and dogs! I have a gated patio so kitties can lounge in the sun, and pups have easy access to a grassy lawn. If you have any concerns, just ask:) I also provide at-home care if you’d like your babes to stay at home!

About: Originally from the East Coast where I've worked professionally with animals since 2018. I spent a year working under a 30+ year experienced & certified dog behaviorialist and trainer before getting certified myself. I then ran my own dog training and pet sitting business out of Connecticut. Now I'm starting fresh here in the Midwest and would LOVE to care for your furbabies :) My schedule is now open and I am free of any conflicts to give your animals the care and attention they need. My weekly routine revolves around what my clients need from me. I follow written and verbal instructions given by owners to the T. Back home I was well known for taking lots of photos and videos of my clients pets to send while they were away and I always followed my own personal policy of leaving a clients home cleaner than when I arrived.

About: I have raised pets my entire life, my family has always had every kind of animal you can imagine. We love our fur babies to the fullest! I have a soft spot I am self employed with my own cleaning business! I have a few weekly cleans and several once a monthers! So that leaves a lot of extra time for me to be active in other parts of my day. My kids get out of school at 3, so anytime from 8-3 I am open to options! I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space. We also live close to the trails and not far from jewel park where my dog and I love to spend most of our free time!

I have pet sat for my friends rats and rabbits as well and have some basic handling skills for reptiles and amphibians from university classes. I am currently working part-time at a catering job and am often open throughout the weekdays and often available on the weekends on a case by case basis. I am willing to stay nights, just visit, or walk your dogs. I am willing to work with most species including but not limited to dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, snakes, and lizards. I am also comfortable administering basic medications.

About: Hi there! I'm Ryan, and for the past 13 years, I've dedicated myself to caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. From laser focused hunting dogs to playful Lab puppies and sweet senior beagles, I’ve walked, played with, and nurtured them all. Whether your pup needs a high-energy run, a calm stroll, or some gentle companionship, I tailor each booking to suit their unique needs. I understand that life can be unpredictable, so I offer flexible scheduling and prompt communication to keep things stress-free. I’ve worked with high-energy breeds that need structured outlets, young puppies just learning the ropes, and older dogs who appreciate a slower pace and a caring touch. You can trust that your furry family member will be treated with love, respect, and professionalism every step of the way. Let’s get your pup the exercise and attention they deserve! I currently have a very flexible schedule, I’m available all 7 days a week between 6:30 AM and 7:30 PM—even in bad weather. I believe in reliable care, rain or shine! I grew up with dogs and cats, so I understand how to create a safe, calm, and loving environment—even for high-energy or rowdy pets. You can trust that they’ll be treated like family!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have loved every single one despite their extreme differences in personality. All pets are different and deserve to be given the life best fit for them. I currently have a Doberman/Mastiff Mix and a longhaired cat. I would love to say they are besties but they are far from it. I adore all pets and everything that comes with it! I am currently in my School Counseling Practicum and only working mornings. I am available any day but Wednesdays from 1pm-9pm, and all day weekends. I will provide the best care possible with what I am told and given from their owners. I can assure that your pets will receive the care that best suits their interests and needs.

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life! I grew up with my family adopting and training rescue dogs from our local shelters. I have been walking dogs and dog sitting since I was in high school and am comfortable around all dog breeds and ages. My neighbors and family rely on me to care for dogs during the day for daily walks, or while away on longer trips. I have been commended by previous clients for my attention to detail and care for all animals, timeliness, responsibility, and friendliness. Due to my career, I do not work during the summertime, meaning I have plenty of time to watch and play with your pup! I will be in the area for all of summer and am flexible with time and any special considerations you have for your pet. Any considerations or requirements you prefer to make your pet as comfortable as possible in your home is my utmost priority. Whether that is long walks around the neighborhood, trips to the dog park, or minor grooming needs, I am happy to help make your pet feel as comfortable as possible so you can worry less during the workday or on a trip. Extra playtime, love, and attention are included to make your pet feel at home and comfortable in their routine.

About: I have experience caring for all kinds of pets. I am able to provide care for all different ages, a good variety of breeds I am even able to care for dogs with various health concerns/medical needs. (Blind, allergies, deaf, post surgery, anxiety, etc.) I am very big on positive affirmations and reenforcing good behavior. I love training dogs! I think it can be a lot of fun. (Right now, I’m teaching sign language to both of my dogs. Our oldest is now deaf and has separation anxiety, so we’re working on basic commands.) I work in the mornings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and, Thursdays. Typically, my lessons run from 9-12. I teach swim lessons all year and set my own schedule. I have a fenced in back yard, that is big enough for the dogs to run around and play! We’re always outside during the warmer months. As long as they have a bowl of cold water, my dogs will stay outside until they choose to come in. In my home, there is a basement. It’s not very big, but it is a nice spot to retreat to. It’s a good space to relax in as there is little outside noise that gets in. (Our laundry room is in the basement. If we run the washer or the dryer during the 4th of July, you cant even hear the fireworks going off. This is a plus, for living with dogs).

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
