“Gregory has been the perfect dog walker. My dog Gus gets so excited the second he hears Gregory at the door. I always get great photo updates and a detailed summary after every walk, which gives me total peace of mind while I am recovering from knee surgery. He is extremely reliable, professional, and treats my dog like family. Not to mention just being an all around nice guy. I could not recommend him enough!"”

About: I love dogs and cats. I have had them my whole life! My labrador just passed away so I am looking for some pet interaction! I miss her dearly. I have taken care of both dogs and cats with special needs, behavioral issues, and senior pets. I love taking both on walks, car rides, park trips, etc. whatever they like to do! Currently working a hybrid job so I can work from home if needed. I’m more of a home body so I will have plenty of chill time with your fur babies. I also like going on outdoor adventures like walks and dog parks weather permitting. At home I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. There is one friendly dog and one solitary but other pet friendly senior cat. Both can be secluded to the upstairs if needed.

“Brooke is an incredible dog walker, my Kody was always in good hands with her. Brooke is reliable and a great communicator: two important qualities for an ongoing walking arrangement. She is also so patient that my skiddish dog was almost immediately comfortable with her. You won’t regret booking with Brooke!”

About: I've grown up with always more than one animal in the household, and loving them is second nature. When my family and friends need someone to help take care of the pets, I am always the first option! I have taken care if lots of cats and dogs, but a few fish throughout the years too. I have experience not only with general pet care such as, feeding, walking, playing/enrichment, but also with giving medications. Some dog breeds I have worked with (or lived with) are German Shepards, Yellow Labs, and mutts that are a mix of medium/bigger dogs or small dachshund mixes. And a lot of different cat personalities! The distant and quiet ones who keep to themselves and the ones who need your attention the second you walk through your door! Either way, I have always loved them no matter what, and continue to love them still. I am not currently working so my days are opened for anything, anytime! I may be finding a part time job soon, if I do not have lots of pets to watch, but something that still keeps my schedule open and flexible. I am always willing to wake up early or stay up late because I have the free time and flexibility! In my home, my cat never has a missed meal, he has clean and running water 24/7, and a handful of toys available for enrichment! A handheld laser always nearby for sudden play time is anecessity! As for my client's pets, I will always follow instructions step by step and detail by detail, no matter if feeding times includes something silly to get the fur baby to actually eat their food, I will always do it! And I am not the kind of person to just stop in, do what I need to do, and leave. I will make sure the pet is well loved and knows that I am there for them.
About: My love for animals started back when I was 5 years old as I grew up on a farm in Connecticut. Cats, dogs and horses stole my heart. Through the years, I have had many different breeds of dogs: German Shepard, Irish Setter, Doberman, Standard Poodle and more. I'm also a lucky grandparent of the most beautiful Samoyed which I get the privilege of dog sitting often. As a life long dog lover, I understand that each dog has their own personality and routine. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, long or short walks, or lots of pets, I will be attentive to their needs. I'll treat your dog(s) with the same kindness, patience, and love that I would give my own. I will be happy to feed, clean bowls, walk your dog (s) however long or short and any additional needs you have while you are away. I recently retired from the corporate world and now work as a substitute teacher, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I have time and would greatly enjoy providing loving, attentive and dependable care for your pet(s). Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy. I love spending time with furry companions, and happy to care for your pet(s) and adapt to their unique personality and routine. I am a dependable, responsible caregiver who pays close attention to the needs of both pets and their owners. I will always respect and care for the owner's home as if it were my own. I will make sure your pets have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, walks, playtime, affection, and any extra tasks needed. As a pet owner myself, I know how stressful leaving your furry family members behind can be. I will treat your pet with the same love and attention I give my own, and I always provide daily messages and photo updates so you can enjoy your time away with total peace of mind.
About: I’ve been working through rover for 3+ years and have always had a deep passion to work with animals. I’m very interested in pet training and would love to help with that during my service. I also acknowledge not only the importance of your pet’s health and happiness, but of you, your family, and the home I work in. I am currently a full-time college student at the University of Omaha. My availabilities would be completely dependent on my class schedule at the time. I would provide care for my clients in their home, since I have a kitty at mine. I respect the privacy of my clients by clarifying boundaries and rules for the home.
About: New to Rover but not to dogs! I love showing animals the patience and care they deserve. I have experience with puppies who have high energy, as well as older dogs who prefer life at a slower pace. Both of my dogs are rescues and they live a very spoiled life! Dogs feel more comfortable when they know what to expect, so I like to keep a good routine of making sure my dogs get their walks in! Whether it’s administering medication, going for a walk, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet with the same love and care I give my own. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities.
About: My family owned a dog when I was in middle school for about a year and a half, but due to busy schedules at the time we had to give him up. My brother had a dog for a little over five years, and I enjoyed helping him take care of her while I was living with my parents, and I went to their house to see her and help take care of her when needed before she passed away! I am different from other sitters because I will spend as much time as I possibly can with your pet! I know that with my brother’s dog, Emma, I wanted to be home with her as much as I can when I was living with my parents so she could be out of her kennel as often as possible. I will also make sure that everything you require of me will be completed in the most appropriate manner possible. I will always make sure that your pet is safe! I will always have an eye on your pet when they go to the bathroom outside, and will talk with you to get as many details as possible to make sure everything goes well while watching your pet! I am a teacher full time, so I would want to make sure that both you and your pet are okay with me being at my full time job during the day when I am house sitting. I am available to do house sitting all seven days of the week. I am available to do drop-in visits and dog walks only on the weekends (I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays to do these) due to working as a teacher, however if you ever need a drop in or dog walk in the evening during the week please feel free to send me a request for it! I also regularly change my calendar so I am usually am available to do drop-in visits and dog walks on weekdays that I am out of school! I will make sure that your pet is my priority while under my care! I will take great care of your home, no matter which service you request! I will be very respectful of everything in your home, and I make sure I am around to take care of your pet(s) as often as possible! Lizbeth is wonderful with our 2-yr-old Mini Bernedoodle Cassie who greets her with as much enthusiasm as she greets either of us 😍 Lizbeth has been walking and/or playing with Cassie for 3-4 times a week since May 2026. Cassie is happy and prancing when they get back; also tired 😍 We couldn’t ask for more than this happy, tired little dog who’s excited with every visit.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
