Lizbeth is doing a great job with our Cassie. They get in solid walks and Cassie is ready for a nap after the walks. We’d recommend Lizbeth for caring for any pup 🤗

About: Always have had deep love for animals. Because of family members, I've had experiences with a wide range of pets. I love to train dogs and would love to provide that during my pet sitting. I also acknowledge not only the importance of your pet, but of you, your family, and the home I work in. I am currently a full-time college student at the University of Omaha. My availabilities would be every day of the week with exceptions of class and my part-time job at Boys Town. I would provide care for my clients in their home, due to my apartment's animal restrictions. I respect the privacy of my clients by clarifying boundaries and rules for the home.

On Monday’s and Wednesdays I work 3-8, so I am available before or after! On Tuesdays and Thursdays I work 8:30-1:30 so I could also become before or after! About: I've taken care of lots of different dogs since I was in high school. From puppies to senior dogs, I've taken care of them all. As an avid animal lover, I began walking dogs through the humane society during college when I could not have a dog of my own yet and learned helpful dog walking tips. I am great at handling high energy dogs and am comfortable with reactive dogs. I will send lots of pictures and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands! I’m currently working my summer job so my mornings to mid afternoon are usually busy but I can always find time for your pet whether that be a potty break or needed to be fed! Evenings and nights are typically free. I think the most important part of caring for pets is understanding what they need/like. Some pets enjoy being attached to your hip and want all your attention, while others could care less. I think meeting each pet's needs and meeting them in the middle of what they want is the most important part of caring for pets. Respecting the pet's boundaries and the owner's wishes is how I care for pets.

Taylor is such an amazing dog walker. She helped us tremendously with our dog Chief and was always willing to help us and be flexible with Chiefs needs. She always puts the dogs needs about her own and cares for her animals. Chief was not feeling well a couple times and she made sure she went to our house multiple times that day to make sure Chief was okay. We are lucky to have found her to help us!

About: I love dogs and cats. I have had them my whole life! My labrador just passed away so I am looking for some pet interaction! I miss her dearly. I have taken care of both dogs and cats with special needs, behavioral issues, and senior pets. I love taking both on walks, car rides, park trips, etc. whatever they like to do! Currently working a hybrid job so I can work from home if needed. I’m more of a home body so I will have plenty of chill time with your fur babies. I also like going on outdoor adventures like walks and dog parks weather permitting. At home I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. There is one friendly dog and one solitary but other pet friendly senior cat. Both can be secluded to the upstairs if needed.

About: New to Rover but not to dogs! I love showing animals the patience and care they deserve. I have experience with puppies who have high energy, as well as older dogs who prefer life at a slower pace. Both of my dogs are rescues and they live a very spoiled life! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! Dogs feel more comfortable when they know what to expect, so I like to keep a good routine of making sure my dogs get their walks in! I provide attentive, individualized care by following each pet’s routine, including feeding, exercise, and any special instructions, to ensure consistency and comfort. I maintain a clean, safe environment while keeping owners updated with regular communication and promptly addressing any concerns.

Mark came to watch my dog overnight. He even took him on a long walk - even when he didn’t have to. It was a warm night so Mark brought his own water bottle and dish to use for Wrigley on their walk. Sent me photos and communicated well throughout. Cannot recommend more highly!

Anita came and walked our dogs for us the day after we moved into a new house and we were too tired to do so. Because she had not met them before, she actually came to our old house two days before for a quick meet and greet just so that they would be more comfortable with her. We have an old lady dog who walks at a stately pace and not very far and she walked her for a short distance, dropped her off, and then kept walking the other two which was greatly appreciated! The dogs were all very comfortable with her, she was very communicative, and we will definitely rebook her!

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Green Meadows. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. • 96% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
