So glad I found Brooks! He has experience with Boxers and knows what they can be like as young adolescents. Emma adored him, and he became her best friend immediately. Brooks was prompt and on time and the communication was outstanding!

About: Experienced with high-energy breeds and trained in dog behavior basics, I focus on reading each dog’s cues and creating a calm, safe environment—so they feel comfortable, not just supervised. As a homeschooling mom, we’ve built a calm, safe, and loving home. I provide that same environment for your pet, so they feel comfortable, cared for, and at home. Because I am home-based and present throughout the day, pets are not left alone for long periods. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest—so they feel comfortable and settled.

I’ve done a handful of petsitting jobs for friends And family, including a cat who needed insulin shots. Let me help you relieve your mind by booking me for all your pet’s needs. I’m currently working full time but am available evenings And weekends. I will have some time in between my clients. Also can during holidays And any canceled sessions. I’m attentive to my pets and others any time I’m around animals. I engage in playtime and take my own cat for walks when it’s nice. He’s pretty spoiled. I’m open to special instructions and directions for care, play, walks, and feeding.

About: I’m a reliable and attentive dog lover based in Omaha, offering a safe, loving environment for your pets while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, and administering basic care. Whether your dog needs lots of activity or just a calm, cozy space, I adjust to their needs. I’m also very responsive and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you always feel at ease while you’re away. ✨ Flexible schedule ✨ Clean, safe environment ✨ Fast communication ✨ Lots of love and attention I’d love to meet you and your pup! I currently work from home remotely Monday through Friday with a lot of flexibility! I have my weekends open completely so maintaining my schedule will be easy to do! I currently take extra precautions with my dog (Kumo) now! Since he is an XL dog, he is always securely harnessed, and I own a muzzle (not that he needs it!) but it’s important to keep others feeling secure around such a large animal. I take him to the dog park as much as possible, when it’s not too cold! He has surgery on his leg when we first rescued him and I care for his long term disability by maintaining a healthy lifestyle for him!

About: I have been watching friends and family animals for as long as I can remember. I love being able to give comfort to the animals when their parents are not able to. I do work full-time, but I’ve always been able to help out with my friends pets at least three times a day if not more when needed. I am not able to do in-home care at the client’s house-or overnight stays at my house at this time as I have an animal in my own.

Kristin just started walking for me. Thus far she has done a great job. She seems to really take the time with my 95 pound puppy and work with him. He is a big boy and Kristin has had no problem handling him. I am greatly appreciative of the work Kristin has done thus far and have already rebooked her services! Thanks for helping out with Merle, Kristin, we both really appreciate it!!

About: Furbabies have always been a part of my family and I'd love to help take care of yours! I've been caring for animals as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I was determined to become a veterinarian and attended summer community college courses in animal care, collaborating with local clinics. Life plans changed since then, but being passionate about animals will never change. Personally, I've cared for large and small dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, geckos, turtles, and fish. One of my cats even lived to be 20 years old! Their health and happiness is of the highest priority for me and my family. I've also been trusted to take care of the furbabies of friends and family, including dogs with daily medications and house-sitting with an elderly cat. I have experience with obedience training for dogs and giving medication to all sorts of four-legged friends. I currently work part time as an ESL teacher for MCC. My schedule takes me out of the house for 2-3 hours Monday-Thursday mornings but I’m otherwise available to provide potty breaks & enrichment as needed. We recently fenced in a joint yard between my and my neighbor's house so there's a huge yard for playtime. My dog, Obi, LOVES to play with dogs of all ages & sizes. His girlfriend, an adorable shepherd mix, lives next door and sometimes comes out to play too. Obi is super excited for the opportunity to meet new friends! We also have a park within walking distance of our house that has a fully enclosed baseball field that is used by the community for extra exercise. If your pup is full of energy, my husband likes to take Obi for runs or bike rides through the park when he gets home from his job as a high school teacher. If you furbaby is a bit shy, the downstairs separated from the upstairs by a gate passable by cats but not by dogs. The guest room is also available for those who like their privacy. As stated above, furbabies are family in my house so they are allowed up onto the couches & beds for optimum comfort. However, if you prefer your furbabies don't get onto furniture, we'll make sure they follow the rules you've set.

About: I've had the most honorable pleasure of being part of my own late fur babies lives for 17 and 14 years. Caring for and loving them has taken me on many lifelong learning adventures. In order to make a difference for the loves of our lives I have decided to offer my heart to pet care. If given the chance, I can only hope to show your pets love like their own, trust, snuggles, fun, and more...everything they've ever dreamed of. Thank you. Due to being a stay at home homemaker it seems I have plenty of time to devote to loving and caring for your loves as if they were my own. I'm available and open to accommodate many different schedules. As of now I am available to care for your loved ones in their own setting where they're most comfortable. Your home is where I'm able to love and care for your furbabies. There are also many possibilities for walking, and I also offer vet visit care. That's as in being your pets' veterinary appointment partner.

About: I adopted my first dog 20 years ago, and I adopted my first cat 4 years ago! I was a volunteer, Adoption Coordinator, and foster Mom for Chain of Hope rescue in Kansas City for 8 years. My German Shep Harper (RIP) was a Therapy Dog for 12 years. I have been in Omaha for 10 years, and I have taken care of countless friends' pets (for free!) In this economy, I need some extra cash -- but that's the secondary goal. The first goal is to pet more dogs and cats! I work 9AM-5PM Mon-Fri, and 9AM-8PM Sat and Sun. I can drop-in visit or walk pets before work, (over the lunch hour during weekdays only), and after work! For boarding and house-sitting pets, I will be home with them other than work, and I am able to provide a potty break on Sat & Sun for boarding/sitting pets. I have a house with a fenced yard in Benson. I have three cats who are social and cat-human-dog-friendly. I have three areas (loft, main floor, basement) if pets need to be separated. I am a huge fan of neighborhood walks. Pets will be spoiled!

About: I am a new dog owner, but I used to nanny for a family with a new puppy and became very familiar with animal care. I have always owned pets (cats) and always loved/wanted a dog and I am interested in helping others give their dogs the best life possible! I am working full time currently but leaving my job as I am moving out of the country in the last week of September for a working abroad opportunity and was wanting to do this until then. If the timeline and schedule works out for you I think it’d be a perfect fit. If I am not working I will be engaged at home with my dog and the others to make sure they have a great day I wake up and take my dog out for a 30 minute walk in the morning. Then we come home and it’s time for breakfast and meds (if needed). I brush my dog after the afternoon walk and give plenty of treats and reward positive behavior

About: I have owned both cats and dogs before and I love being around both! I am a teacher so I can be patient and I love to help others so why not enjoy their pets at the same time! Our dogs are kennel trained and play fetch and go on walks so I have a lot of experience taking care of dogs, as well as growing up with dogs at my parents. I used to have 2 cats with my last partner and he kept them, but I loved how chill yet playful cats can be!! I am on summer break since I am a first grade teacher. I have open availability because of this! I have 2 dogs of my own that I also will be tending to. I will treat your fur babies with kindness and patience, just like I would for my own dogs. I also love to take pictures and let owners see how they are doing!

About: ⚠️Please Note⚠️: I am working through lunch now- July 31st 2026. So I’ll mainly be able to watch cats as of now. If your pet is able to hold their potty from 8:00am-5:00pm then please still message me. Ihave my own little fury friend which I walk, take to the restroom, handle her food and water daily needs for the past 6 years. I have house/pet sat for over 18 owners, and sat more than 25 dogs, and 10 cats. I like to leave things as I found them, or better if I can. Also, great with cats, fish, and used to own 2 turtles as well and wouldn’t mind watching your turtles or any additional pets, just shoot me a message and see! I work from 8am-5pm, M-F, I have a few hobbies but other than that I’m sitting! If your pet is able to be let out every 5 hours then our schedules should align perfectly. PLEASE NOTE: If your pet needs to be let out before 6:00am I will not be able to provide services for you. I am currently only available to house/ dog sit at your location because I stay with my mom, and although we do have our own dog, that’s all she can handle at a time 🤗

  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
