About: Always have had deep love for animals. Because of family members, I've had experiences with a wide range of pets. I love to train dogs and would love to provide that during my pet sitting. I also acknowledge not only the importance of your pet, but of you, your family, and the home I work in. I am currently a full-time college student at the University of Omaha. My availabilities would be every day of the week with exceptions of class and my part-time job at Boys Town. I would provide care for my clients in their home, due to my apartment's animal restrictions. I respect the privacy of my clients by clarifying boundaries and rules for the home.
“Linda has been walking Smokey for a year and has been fantastic to work with. She’s flexible, always willing to help out in a pinch and most importantly Smokey adores her. We feel so lucky to have found her!”

“So thankful Marc was able to help over Easter weekend - I had been stressed about leaving the dog alone for a handful of hours though when Marc agreed to help spend some time with her, knew she was going to be in the best hands!! Made the day less stressful!!”

About: I've taken care of lots of different dogs since I was in high school. From puppies to senior dogs, I've taken care of them all. As an avid animal lover, I began walking dogs through the humane society during college when I could not have a dog of my own yet and learned helpful dog walking tips. I am great at handling high energy dogs and am comfortable with reactive dogs. I will send lots of pictures and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands! I’m currently working my summer job so my mornings to mid afternoon are usually busy but I can always find time for your pet whether that be a potty break or needed to be fed! Evenings and nights are typically free. I think the most important part of caring for pets is understanding what they need/like. Some pets enjoy being attached to your hip and want all your attention, while others could care less. I think meeting each pet's needs and meeting them in the middle of what they want is the most important part of caring for pets. Respecting the pet's boundaries and the owner's wishes is how I care for pets.
“Brady was wonderful and took so many cute pictures of our sweet boy. Clearly she's some sort of dog whisperer because he apparently behaved perfectly for her which I truly appreciate. Very professional, kind, and wonderful. 10/10 tail wags, will be requesting her services again!”

“First time using Rover and Kathryn made the experience very easy and absolutely worth it. Although my pupper can’t talk I have no doubts she would like to have Kathryn visit again. Thank you!”

At your home, I am willing to crate if needed or provide elaborate fun treats, etc.

About: I love dogs and cats. I have had them my whole life! My labrador just passed away so I am looking for some pet interaction! I miss her dearly. I have taken care of both dogs and cats with special needs, behavioral issues, and senior pets. I love taking both on walks, car rides, park trips, etc. whatever they like to do! Currently working a hybrid job so I can work from home if needed. I’m more of a home body so I will have plenty of chill time with your fur babies. I also like going on outdoor adventures like walks and dog parks weather permitting. At home I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. There is one friendly dog and one solitary but other pet friendly senior cat. Both can be secluded to the upstairs if needed.
“Taylor is such an amazing dog walker. She helped us tremendously with our dog Chief and was always willing to help us and be flexible with Chiefs needs. She always puts the dogs needs about her own and cares for her animals. Chief was not feeling well a couple times and she made sure she went to our house multiple times that day to make sure Chief was okay. We are lucky to have found her to help us!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
