When dog sitting at my place or yours, I take days off from my night job so I can be there most of the time. I’ll still work my morning job, but only until 1pm, ensuring I’m available to give your dog the care and attention they deserve. I have a dog too, so to keep both pets safe, I always make sure they have a proper introduction first. I’d never leave them alone together and will keep a close eye on your pup at all times! At night, we use a downstairs area connected to my bedroom for some quiet time. We also have a 4ft fenced backyard where your pup can run and play freely, plus plenty of toys to keep them entertained!

About: Hi, my name is Krissy and I am 34 years old and I work at Elkhorn Public Schools. I was raised around various dogs and cats, as well as rodents, and fish my whole life. I am very comfortable around all dog breeds from puppies to seniors. I am comfortable giving medicine, as my own dog went thru cancer and needed medicine. I understand that every pet is different and would ask that you show me the way that you give medicine. I currently own (and spoil) a 5 year old female lab named Luna and an 11 year old female Puggle named Sandy. They are my whole world! My promise to you is to treat your pet like I would my own by providing lots of exercise, fun, and a comfortable and safe environment. I will work closely with you to find what will work best for you by meeting with you before hand to make sure that I am a good fit. About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience and 7 years working in veterinary medicine. I studied Animal Science and currently serve as a Health Coordinator in shelter medicine, after years of experience as a veterinary assistant. My background includes working in Emergency and General Practice, so I am confident for caring for pets with a wide range of needs, from puppies and kittens to seniors and those requiring medications or special instructions. I’m especially patient with anxious or shy animals and understand how to make them feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, nail trims, giving medications or providing calm reassurance, I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to give owners complete peace of mind. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 7am–4pm, with Fridays ending at 2pm. This gives me plenty of availability for weekday evenings (also early mornings), weekends, and Friday afternoons. When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to follow your routines and instructions closely so your pet feels comfortable and secure. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, medications, nail trims, exercise, and providing enrichment so they feel happy and relaxed. My background in animal medicine also helps me notice small changes in behavior or health, giving you extra peace of mind. I do have a French Bulldog puppy who unfortunately is blind but training her and adding her to the family has had a good impact on how to handle and care special needs animals.

About: I have 2 of my own dachshunds and also foster for Nebraska Dachshund Rescue. I have lived with large (Newfoundland) and small dogs providing walks and daily care. I can recognize abnormal excrement and report it to the owner. Each dog has their own personality and needs to be respected for the individual they are. I have a dog with some food intolerances (as I do myself) and understand that one food or treat does not fit all animals. My availability varies depending on my weekly schedule. On days I work I would be available to provide an evening walk for your baby. On my days off I could help out most times if the day I am comfortable walking you pet/pup or coming to you house while you are gone to take care of birds, fish, reptiles, rodents. Whatever the need may be! I am available after 1700 Monday through Friday and anytime on weekends. Availability on holidays will vary, but my calendar will be updated to show such. I will follow whatever requests you have for the care of your pet. I will respect whatever diet/treat schedule you have for them. I will make certain they wear their galoshes & sweater for walks if that is what you request!

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! I started getting into the pet care and animal industry at age 10 when I got into showing dogs. That let to eventually becoming a professional dog trainer/handler and that led to eventually also working as a vet tech and groomer. I groomed from home for a while until I had kids. I currently am a stay-at-home-mom to my human kid and fur kids. I also raise/train/breed Labrador Retrievers for families and hunters. About: I have owned and taken care of pets since I was a little girl. As an adult I have had many dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, and fish, usually 2-3 at a time. I’m experienced with puppies and kittens, geriatric pets, and pets with needs. I currently have 2 golden retrievers, Chewy 5 who is battling cancer, and Winston our puppy who is 6 months old. We currently have 3 cats, Monkey, Nala, and Stash. Chewy was diagnosed with cancer last winter, so I am familiar with taking care of a pet who does not feel well and needs medicine. Winston is the 6th puppy we have had, so I have a lot of experience with house training and typical puppy needs. I love taking care of family and friends pets, they just become an extended pet family of my own, and I would treat your pets the same. I am a stay at home mom of 5 kids, my youngest are 13, my oldest is 25. Outside of drop off and pick up from school I have plenty of time to visit your pet and let them out, throw some toys around the yard, take them for walks, whatever, the need may be I would follow whatever instructions a pet owner had for me to take care of their pet. I am very good with communication, so I would keep the owner up to date on the visits, how they went, send pictures, etc.
