I studied Animal Science and currently serve as a Health Coordinator in shelter medicine, after years of experience as a veterinary assistant. About: I was raised on a farm and have cared for all sorts of animals my entire life. I now have a mature rough coat collie, Rhea. She is a very good companion for people and other pets. I worked as a Vet assistant, which included large animal surgeries. I ran the anesthesia. I rode on a Rescue Squad for 7 yrs and was a paramedic in the Military. I am very active and love spending time with pets. I am retired, very active, but I have plenty of time, energy, and love to give to your animal. I am available most any day/night. I have a large fenced-in yard. I have one very friendly fur baby to keep yours company. I have availability to crate your pets also if that is what your pet is comfortable with.

About: I have always had a strong love for animals and experience caring for pets. I am an Animal Science student at UNL with a focus on companion animals. I grew up with a Yorkie Schnauzer mix. I played with her, took her on walks, and was instrumental in her care as she aged and experienced health problems. About: I have taken care of dogs for my family/neighbors/friends for many years and have very much enjoyed doing it! I have a happy and energetic golden retriever who is also a certified therapy dog so he loves meeting and playing with all humas and animals! I'm also getting a golden puppy during the summer months so I will be at home a lot this summer raising her. Dog sitting other dogs would be great to help her socialization and her training! I am a teacher with the summer off, so I have a very open schedule to meet the needs of taking care of any animal at any time of day or night needed. I am very comfortable around all dog breeds from puppies to seniors. I am comfortable giving medicine, as my own dog went thru cancer and needed medicine. I currently own (and spoil) a 5 year old female lab named Luna and an 11 year old female Puggle named Sandy. They are my whole world! About: In addition to owning my own dogs for 12 years, I have extensive experience fostering dogs of all sizes, including experience with giant breeds. I have cared for dogs with various medical and behavioral issues and am experienced in administering insulin injections. I have over 10 years of experience in animal rescue and currently run a cat rescue. I work-from-home Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, and I come home over lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so pets are rarely home alone, and never for more than 5 hours at a time. I always feed dogs separately to avoid any resource guarding issues. I have the ability to feed dogs as many as 4 times a day and have experience giving a variety of medicines, including subcutaneous fluids. I have a large, securely fenced backyard that has a 6-foot privacy fence. I can also take dogs for walks or runs, weather permitting. I allow dogs on furniture but I can keep them off it you would prefer. I also have kennels/beds/dishes/toys, so all clients need to bring are food and medication, unless you think your pets would prefer their own stuff.

About: Hello! My name is Lily and I've been an animal lover my whole life and taking care of my own pets (as well as others) since I was about 10 years old. Family and friends have relied on me to take care of their pets including house sitting, walking, and other activities. I have a cat named Yusuke that I adopted January of 2022 who is very spoiled and happy. Before Yusuke, I had a cat named Beast who lived to be about 17/18, he had a lot of needs due to his old age. I had to give him a pill twice a day, put laxatives in his food, and give him fluids once or twice a week (via putting a needle under his skin and holding the bag of fluids). It was a lot of work, but I would do it all over again to make sure he was the healthiest he could be, and, having to do those things gave me experience with more special needs animals. I graduated from UNO in May of 2023 and now work 30-40 hours a week. I love animals, so I try to work in some time to meet other people's pets and make sure they are healthy and happy while their owners are away! I do have a set work schedule most of the time but I'm willing to be flexible and try to fit bookings in around my schedule! I am comfortable giving medication, walking, and letting out animals! Typically animals warm up to me quickly. I am also comfortable with crating pets if needed.

About: I have 2 of my own dachshunds and also foster for Nebraska Dachshund Rescue. I have lived with large (Newfoundland) and small dogs providing walks and daily care. I can recognize abnormal excrement and report it to the owner. Each dog has their own personality and needs to be respected for the individual they are. I have a dog with some food intolerances (as I do myself) and understand that one food or treat does not fit all animals. My availability varies depending on my weekly schedule. On days I work I would be available to provide an evening walk for your baby. On my days off I could help out most times if the day I am comfortable walking you pet/pup or coming to you house while you are gone to take care of birds, fish, reptiles, rodents. Whatever the need may be! I am available after 1700 Monday through Friday and anytime on weekends. Availability on holidays will vary, but my calendar will be updated to show such. I will follow whatever requests you have for the care of your pet. I will respect whatever diet/treat schedule you have for them. I will make certain they wear their galoshes & sweater for walks if that is what you request!
