Michaela has been taking my pup out for a daily walk for the past two weeks and I am sooo glad I found her on Rover! She sends tons of pictures of their time together and makes sure I’m filled in each day. Not only does she take great care of Tucker, she was thoughtful enough to bring our emptied trash cans up to the house from the end of the drive twice now. Thank you for going above and beyond, Michaela! We appreciate you ❤️

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated dog sitter passionate about providing loving and attentive care for your furry friends. I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines, so I tailor my services to keep them happy, comfortable, and safe while you’re away. Whether it’s a quick visit or an extended stay, I’m flexible and reliable, ensuring your pet gets plenty of playtime, exercise, and cuddles. I’d love to hear about your dog’s personality and preferences—let’s chat and make sure your pup feels right at home with me! Tuesday and Thursday afternoons are my preferred times for meet and greets, but I’m always happy to be flexible and accommodate other times when needed. I start my day early with a 5am job and work another job at 10pm, but I always make sure to set aside quality time for your pup! When dog sitting at my place or yours, I take days off from my night job so I can be there most of the time. I’ll still work my morning job, but only until 1pm, ensuring I’m available to give your dog the care and attention they deserve. I have a dog too, so to keep both pets safe, I always make sure they have a proper introduction first. I’d never leave them alone together and will keep a close eye on your pup at all times! At night, we use a downstairs area connected to my bedroom for some quiet time. We also have a 4ft fenced backyard where your pup can run and play freely, plus plenty of toys to keep them entertained!

About: Hi, my name is Krissy and I am 34 years old and I work at Elkhorn Public Schools. I was raised around various dogs and cats, as well as rodents, and fish my whole life. I am very comfortable around all dog breeds from puppies to seniors. I am comfortable giving medicine, as my own dog went thru cancer and needed medicine. I understand that every pet is different and would ask that you show me the way that you give medicine. I currently own (and spoil) a 5 year old female lab named Luna and an 11 year old female Puggle named Sandy. They are my whole world! My promise to you is to treat your pet like I would my own by providing lots of exercise, fun, and a comfortable and safe environment. I will work closely with you to find what will work best for you by meeting with you before hand to make sure that I am a good fit. I would want to keep your pet on the same schedule and not to throw them off. I appreciate you checking out my profile and look forward to providing you with a great service for you and your pet. Instagram & Facebook: krissysfurbabyworld I work at Elkhorn Public Schools as a paraprofessional. I leave for work at 7:00 AM and return at 3:15 pm. I am unable to provide a mid day bathroom break. During the summer, I have tons of flexibility. Unfortunately, I do not board dogs in my home at this time as my own dog does not enjoy other dogs. Thank You very much.

About: Lifelong animal lover offering reliable dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs and cats. I’ve cared for pets my entire life and previously boarded dogs through Rover, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. In 2017 I was an active Rover sitter and boarded dogs in my home for about a year, working with several families and building repeat clients. During that time I had multiple dogs and cats of my own, as well as young children, so I’m very comfortable managing busy households and different pet personalities. Today I have one dog and one cat of my own and am excited to return to Rover focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. I’m happy to help with: • Dog walking (short or long walks) • Drop-in visits for dogs or cats • Feeding, fresh water, and routine care • Litter box cleaning for cats • Playtime, attention, and companionship • Basic medications when pets are comfortable receiving them I’ve also worked in boarding facilities, grooming salons, and doggy daycares, which gave me experience handling many different types of dogs and temperaments. I’m known for being calm, patient, and routine-focused, and I treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a wide-open schedule and can be flexible to meet your pet’s needs, whether it’s daily walks or regular drop-in visits. I primarily drive to visits, so I can reach most locations efficiently. To ensure the best care for your pets, I ask for at least a day’s notice when scheduling or canceling visits. Since this is my main source of income, I can be consistent and dependable, giving your pets the attention and routine they deserve. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. Dogs are always leashed during walks, and I adjust routes or pause if other dogs are nearby to ensure a calm, controlled experience. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at once, as long as they get along well. I handle pets with anxiety, aggression, or medical needs carefully, following all instructions from their parents. During drop-in visits, I take my lead from pet parents and follow any guidance provided, ensuring I leave the home exactly as I found it — doors locked, secure, and everything in order. My goal is to provide a safe, consistent, and worry-free experience for both pets and their families.

Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a consistent routine, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience and 7 years working in veterinary medicine. I studied Animal Science and currently serve as a Health Coordinator in shelter medicine, after years of experience as a veterinary assistant. My background includes working in Emergency and General Practice, so I am confident for caring for pets with a wide range of needs, from puppies and kittens to seniors and those requiring medications or special instructions. I’m especially patient with anxious or shy animals and understand how to make them feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, nail trims, giving medications or providing calm reassurance, I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to give owners complete peace of mind. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 7am–4pm, with Fridays ending at 2pm. This gives me plenty of availability for weekday evenings (also early mornings), weekends, and Friday afternoons. When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to follow your routines and instructions closely so your pet feels comfortable and secure. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, medications, nail trims, exercise, and providing enrichment so they feel happy and relaxed. My background in animal medicine also helps me notice small changes in behavior or health, giving you extra peace of mind. I do have a French Bulldog puppy who unfortunately is blind but training her and adding her to the family has had a good impact on how to handle and care special needs animals.

About: I have 2 of my own dachshunds and also foster for Nebraska Dachshund Rescue. I have lived with large (Newfoundland) and small dogs providing walks and daily care. I can recognize abnormal excrement and report it to the owner. Each dog has their own personality and needs to be respected for the individual they are. I have a dog with some food intolerances (as I do myself) and understand that one food or treat does not fit all animals. My availability varies depending on my weekly schedule. On days I work I would be available to provide an evening walk for your baby. On my days off I could help out most times if the day I am comfortable walking you pet/pup or coming to you house while you are gone to take care of birds, fish, reptiles, rodents. Whatever the need may be! I am available after 1700 Monday through Friday and anytime on weekends. Availability on holidays will vary, but my calendar will be updated to show such. I will follow whatever requests you have for the care of your pet. I will respect whatever diet/treat schedule you have for them. I will make certain they wear their galoshes & sweater for walks if that is what you request!

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! I started getting into the pet care and animal industry at age 10 when I got into showing dogs. That let to eventually becoming a professional dog trainer/handler and that led to eventually also working as a vet tech and groomer. I groomed from home for a while until I had kids. I currently am a stay-at-home-mom to my human kid and fur kids. I also raise/train/breed Labrador Retrievers for families and hunters. Due to my veterinary assistance and technician background, I am comfortable giving medication as well as injections. I can provide references if needed! I also have a background in lizards/snakes/fish/small animals and exotics as well as horses! I look forward to getting to know you and your fur kids! "If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans."~ James Herriot I make time for your furr family members! I am a stay-at-home mom who will make time for your furr family member. Thanks for trusting me. I currently am only available for pet let-outs. Hopefully pet-sitting in the future will become available. My husband has cancer so just scheduled visits for now. Thanks for understanding. ☺️

About: I have owned and taken care of pets since I was a little girl. As an adult I have had many dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, and fish, usually 2-3 at a time. I’m experienced with puppies and kittens, geriatric pets, and pets with needs. I currently have 2 golden retrievers, Chewy 5 who is battling cancer, and Winston our puppy who is 6 months old. We currently have 3 cats, Monkey, Nala, and Stash. Chewy was diagnosed with cancer last winter, so I am familiar with taking care of a pet who does not feel well and needs medicine. Winston is the 6th puppy we have had, so I have a lot of experience with house training and typical puppy needs. I love taking care of family and friends pets, they just become an extended pet family of my own, and I would treat your pets the same. I am a stay at home mom of 5 kids, my youngest are 13, my oldest is 25. Outside of drop off and pick up from school I have plenty of time to visit your pet and let them out, throw some toys around the yard, take them for walks, whatever, the need may be I would follow whatever instructions a pet owner had for me to take care of their pet. I am very good with communication, so I would keep the owner up to date on the visits, how they went, send pictures, etc.

Michaela was very reliable and took great care of our Bichon while we were on vacation. She cleaned up an accident by the puppy, watered some plants and took out our trash cans on designated days. She always sent a report card and a picture after each of the three daily walks which was reassuring. I felt very comfortable leaving our fur baby in her hands and have no hesitation recommending Michaela. I’ll request her again. her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
