About: I've watched dogs of friends and family on and off for the past 11 years. It's been a mix of older dogs, young dogs, large and small. I'm a stay at home mom. Our pets are rarely home alone for more than a couple hours at a time a couple days each week. I have a fenced in yard and friendly pooch with loads of toys to share. Our dog has unlimited access to the yard as long as I am home. A water dish is always out and available. We do have a cat who free ranges around the house, but she tends to make herself scarce when other dogs are in the house.

I have one baby that I have during the week but would love to give love to fur babies on the weekends! Previously, I have cared for my dear Mickey (Black striped Tabby) who required IV fluids and oral medications along with specific feeding instructions. After my Mickey passed, I took care of three young foster cats. I helped adjust them to a loving home with automatic feeders, fresh water, and a clean litter box. They have all since been adopted through NALA! During the week I can provide drop-in care after school (I have class Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)! I can typically stay for around an hour depending on the needs of my clients. I have much more open availability in the weekends and can provide drop in care throughout the day. - For drop in care you can expect: -Cleaning litter boxes/litter area And/Or -Potty break and short outside stimulation (dedicated 30min or less typically) -refill of water or food as needed -quick check for accidents and any naughtiness -quality attention for friendly animals (dedicated 5-10 minutes typically) —————— —————— —————— I provide walking services, house-sitting, and can host a kitten on the weekends. I am free Friday to Monday evenings for house sitting and walks. (They may also use my baby’s clean twin bed haha!) -video check in with mom and dad as needed -picture updates twice daily (AM/PM) I have some other animals in my home but in my experience, animals prefer a calm, patient human when their parents are away. Outside of drop off and pick up from school I have plenty of time to visit your pet and let them out, throw some toys around the yard, take them for walks, whatever, the need may be I would follow whatever instructions a pet owner had for me to take care of their pet. I am very good with communication, so I would keep the owner up to date on the visits, how they went, send pictures, etc.

I have cared for dogs with various medical and behavioral issues and am experienced in administering insulin injections. I have over 10 years of experience in animal rescue and currently run a cat rescue. I work-from-home Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, and I come home over lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so pets are rarely home alone, and never for more than 5 hours at a time. I always feed dogs separately to avoid any resource guarding issues. I have the ability to feed dogs as many as 4 times a day and have experience giving a variety of medicines, including subcutaneous fluids. I have a large, securely fenced backyard that has a 6-foot privacy fence. I can also take dogs for walks or runs, weather permitting. I allow dogs on furniture but I can keep them off it you would prefer. I also have kennels/beds/dishes/toys, so all clients need to bring are food and medication, unless you think your pets would prefer their own stuff.

About: I have 2 of my own dachshunds and also foster for Nebraska Dachshund Rescue. I have lived with large (Newfoundland) and small dogs providing walks and daily care. I can recognize abnormal excrement and report it to the owner. Each dog has their own personality and needs to be respected for the individual they are. I have a dog with some food intolerances (as I do myself) and understand that one food or treat does not fit all animals. My availability varies depending on my weekly schedule. On days I work I would be available to provide an evening walk for your baby. On my days off I could help out most times if the day I am comfortable walking you pet/pup or coming to you house while you are gone to take care of birds, fish, reptiles, rodents. Whatever the need may be! I am available after 1700 Monday through Friday and anytime on weekends. Availability on holidays will vary, but my calendar will be updated to show such. I will follow whatever requests you have for the care of your pet. I will respect whatever diet/treat schedule you have for them. I will make certain they wear their galoshes & sweater for walks if that is what you request!
