“Wonderful overall experience - for us and the dogs. Having the dogs there for only 24 hours, we were glad that they settled in and slept through the night. Great communication; getting photos of the dogs settling in was a plus for worried parents. Highly recommend. Dogs got on well with the "house dogs" so there was no drama.”

“Andrea was super communicative from the start and made us feel 100% comfortable leaving our pups! We got to meet up and make sure we were all comfortable, we got updates on the dogs throughout the week, and pick up afterwards was super easy! Extremely flexible and professional. We would feel very confident trusting Andrea with our dogs in the future!”

“Brett and Christine were so great with my pup! He had a bit of a strained back leg when I dropped him off, and they did a great job making sure he didn’t exert himself too much. When I picked him up after the weekend, he was walking normally and they said he had a great time with their other dogs. Will definitely be booking again!”

About: I’ve had cats as part of my family for many years and currently have a cat of my own. Over the years I’ve cared for several cats with different personalities and needs, including shy cats and cats that prefer a quiet, patient approach. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, refreshing food and water, litter box cleaning, and giving cats attention and playtime based on their comfort level. I understand that some cats love interaction while others prefer calm companionship, and I always respect their space and routine. I can also assist with basic medications when a cat is comfortable receiving them. My goal during drop-in visits is to make sure your cat feels safe, cared for, and relaxed while you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for most of my adult life. As a kid I was never able to have pets, so as an adult I’ve always had multiple dogs. I love dogs and enjoy their personalities and fun loving nature. Weekends and holidays are spent at home with the family, and the four-legged family members get plenty of playtime! During the week, I work full-time. Our dogs are kennel-trained and enjoy their downtime during the day. Once home, they’re out and a part of all our evening activities. We have a fenced-in yard where they can run and play non-stop. Our fenced-in yard is an excellent space for our four energetic dogs to run and play. They love to play non-stop, and our kids, who are also dog lovers, enjoy playing along with them.

About: I have had cats most of my life so I have a lot of experience caring for them. I currently have 2 cats of my own, as well as care for my mother’s cat. Outside of my own, I have also taken care of friend’s and family’s furry felines. I have a very active cat and a very laid back cat so whatever level of energy your cat has, I am confident I can keep them happy.

About: We’re a dog-loving family with 20+ years of hands-on experience caring for our own pets and others. My husband has had dogs his entire life, and our home is full of genuine love for animals. We have experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medication and accommodating mobility issues with patience and care. Our home setup allows us to safely separate dogs when needed, ensuring every pet feels comfortable and secure. For safety and routine, we do ask that dogs are crate trained for overnight stays. Most pets enjoy relaxing on our main floor or in our finished basement, where they’re treated like part of the family. I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day to provide consistent care and attention. Dogs are let out regularly every 4 hours, depending on their needs, and I make time for walks and outdoor breaks whenever the weather allows. My flexible schedule helps ensure your pet stays comfortable, active, and well cared We prioritize routine, consistency, and attention in our daily care. Dogs can be fed on your schedule, within reason, and are given frequent opportunities for outdoor time and exercise. Weather permitting, we incorporate playtime outside, and in the evenings, pets receive plenty of interaction, affection, and engagement.
“Did a good job taking care of the pets. A couple of hiccups but stayed in communication well. Snow storm hit at the end of the week and offered extra help just in case. Much appreciated!”

“Danette took great care of my cat while I was out of town for a few days over 4th of July weekend! He was well fed and well loved, and I could tell he was very content despite my being away. I would definitely recommend her, and will look to her again if I need care for him in the future.”

About: I've watched dogs of friends and family on and off for the past 11 years. It's been a mix of older dogs, young dogs, large and small. I do require proof of vaccinations and licensing. I'm a stay at home mom. Our pets are rarely home alone for more than a couple hours at a time a couple days each week. I have a fenced in yard and friendly pooch with loads of toys to share. Our dog has unlimited access to the yard as long as I am home. A water dish is always out and available. We do have a cat who free ranges around the house, but she tends to make herself scarce when other dogs are in the house.
“Jackie was great! Very flexible with my changes in hours and sent pictures/updates throughout the day. You can tell she really loves dogs and takes great care of them while you're away 😊”

“Can't speak highly enough of Lauri and care provided. Impressed with communication throughout process. Appreciated attention to detail of Carl's demeanor with separation anxiety. Thank you for loving her as ours!”

“Eliza is so sweet! She sent me photos during the day. She kept me updated on how Midnight was doing. He seemed to really enjoy his time there and has gotten to make lots of new friends! I will definitely continuing using her to watch my baby.”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals all my life. Grew up on a farm locally and cared for every animal you can imagine. I’m a recently retired educator with a huge heart. I have a safe and clean home and a fenced in back yard! I presently have 1 dog named Chase who is a 3 year old, well mannered and well trained Pomeranian.Ive had both dogs and cats in past 25 plus years. I will care for your furry family member as if they are my own. Since I am retired I have flexibility with my schedule. I am able to schedule care during the work week to include drop ins, walks and even over night and long term care. I have a large fully fenced back yard. I even have an added puppy fence layer to ensure even the smallest pups are safe and secure. My neighborhood is excellent for dog walking as well. Chase my 10 lb pom is excellent company and a fun playmate.
About: I love and respect dogs. I've had a dog my entire adult life - from puppy to senior dogs, small to larger breeds. Keeping your dog happy and healthy is important to me. I aim to keep the routine you have established for your dog while you are away. I'll communicate with you as much or as little as you would like. *My work environment has recently changed. I now work in office but, with flexible hours and availability to work from home when needed. Your dog may be left inside my home for no more than three hours at a time. Your dog will have opportunity during my breaks to be let out to potty as well as to receive whatever play or attention is needed. In the late afternoon someone is always home and the evenings you can expect your dog to receive lots of love and attention whether that's playing fetch, doing a sniff mat, going for a walk, cuddling, or enjoying some fresh air and sunshine, as the weather permits. I am interested in knowing about the dogs in my care and try to gather as much information about their care needs. All restrictions related to their care will be respected and carried out. Socialization, love, and safety are top priorities to help keep your dog happy. My home is in a quiet residential area near a school and parks. Our yard is fenced - 4 feet on most sides. Until your dog is used to being in my home, I will supervise in the backyard to aid in their adjustment and to ensure their safety. Dogs are permitted in most areas of the home, but I like to keep them close by while attending to other things. We have a small and large crate available. Dogs are permitted on furniture but, we can keep them off if that is part of your home rules. Keeping consistent with how you care for your own pet is important to me. I prefer to do a meet and greet with your pet prior to taking on their care if possible. This gives me an opportunity to become familiar with the pet, pet owner, and ask questions about your dog's care and preferences. It also helps your dog become familiar with my home.
About: Private dog care insurance for added peace of mind when in my care. Your dog will be treated like family in our dog friendly home. You can be assured your pups will be safe and happy with me! I only board one family’s dog or dogs at a time so your pet or pets will have my complete focus. I am an experienced dog sitter and walker. I also do drop in visits and I’m happy to help get your dog out for a walk if work or a busy schedule requires some help to get your dog or dogs out for a break during the day. I’m an active retiree and I’m home full time to give your dog the care they need. They will be allowed ample playtime and multiple walks in a safe environment. I have a fully fenced in backyard and dogs will be supervised when playing outside. I’m attentive to the needs of the dogs under my care whether in my home or your home. I am fully insured through pet care insurance. Housesitting consists of one twelve hour overnight period and either one 60 minute drop in visit or if you prefer 2 30 minute drop in visits during the day. If your dog requires constant care beyond this schedule there is an additional hourly fee.

About: Hi there! I’ve spent over 20 years caring for animals and I truly can’t imagine life without them. I work from home, which means your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and care throughout the day. My two kids (with me half the time) are gentle and animal-loving, our recently adopted cat Lenny, and our sweet black German Shepherd is always excited to welcome new friends. Whether it’s playtime, walks, snuggles, or simply sticking to your pet’s routine, I’ll treat them like family and make sure they feel right at home. Two things to note: 1) I work from home and more than happy to pet sit during the week but due to my professional career, I am frequently on conference calls. That said, the pup needs to be on the moderate energy side and not a chronic barker. Exceptions are if someone is at the door and/or if they are signaling a need of course. 2) I’m only accepting pups who are well acquainted with cats as I recently adopted a cat and need to ensure its safety and well-being. I work from home full-time, which means I’m able to give your pet the constant attention, love, and care they may need throughout the day. My heart dog, a sweet black German Shepherd, absolutely loves having company, and that’s one of the main reasons I began pet sitting, she enjoys the extra companionship as much as I do! Combined with my lifelong love of animals, opening my home to other pets feels natural and rewarding. Here, your pet will be cared for like family, with plenty of play, affection, and companionship. In my home, pets are truly part of the family. Since I work from home full-time, your pet will enjoy constant love, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I have a fenced yard that gives pups a safe space to play and explore, along with plenty of indoor snuggles and downtime. My sweet German Shepherd adores having company, which is one of the main reasons I started boarding, I love animals, and so does she! Here, your pet will feel safe, happy, and right at home.

“Michaela has been taking my pup out for a daily walk for the past two weeks and I am sooo glad I found her on Rover! She sends tons of pictures of their time together and makes sure I’m filled in each day. Not only does she take great care of Tucker, she was thoughtful enough to bring our emptied trash cans up to the house from the end of the drive twice now. Thank you for going above and beyond, Michaela! We appreciate you ❤️”

About: I can handle any kind of dog, from shy to super hyper! I’ve dog sat for family and friends over the years and I have experience in giving dogs medicine and first aid! I am currently unemployed and off to college at UNO this fall! I have a ton of free time and am willing to take care of any kind of pet 24/7! I have experience giving cats and dogs medicine orally as well as administering first aid to dogs! I have my own car that I can take to visit your pet, and in emergencies I am a safe driver that can safely bring your pet to the nearest vet. I have grown up around animals and have a deep love and respect for every species!
“Linda has been walking Smokey for a year and has been fantastic to work with. She’s flexible, always willing to help out in a pinch and most importantly Smokey adores her. We feel so lucky to have found her!”

“Amy is one of the best people on Rover I’ve ever encountered. She’s easy to communicate with, extremely responsive, and clearly cares very deeply about the animals she meets. She’s patient, attentive, and trustworthy beyond words. We were extremely lucky to have her care for Sadie weekly, and we’d recommend her to anyone.”
About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience and 7 years working in veterinary medicine. I studied Animal Science and currently serve as a Health Coordinator in shelter medicine, after years of experience as a veterinary assistant. My background includes working in Emergency and General Practice, so I am confident for caring for pets with a wide range of needs, from puppies and kittens to seniors and those requiring medications or special instructions. I’m especially patient with anxious or shy animals and understand how to make them feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, nail trims, giving medications or providing calm reassurance, I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to give owners complete peace of mind. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 7am–4pm, with Fridays ending at 2pm. This gives me plenty of availability for weekday evenings (also early mornings), weekends, and Friday afternoons. When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to follow your routines and instructions closely so your pet feels comfortable and secure. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, medications, nail trims, exercise, and providing enrichment so they feel happy and relaxed. My background in animal medicine also helps me notice small changes in behavior or health, giving you extra peace of mind. I do have a French Bulldog puppy who unfortunately is blind but training her and adding her to the family has had a good impact on how to handle and care special needs animals.

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated dog sitter passionate about providing loving and attentive care for your furry friends. I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines, so I tailor my services to keep them happy, comfortable, and safe while you’re away. Whether it’s a quick visit or an extended stay, I’m flexible and reliable, ensuring your pet gets plenty of playtime, exercise, and cuddles. I’d love to hear about your dog’s personality and preferences—let’s chat and make sure your pup feels right at home with me! Tuesday and Thursday afternoons are my preferred times for meet and greets, but I’m always happy to be flexible and accommodate other times when needed. I start my day early with a 5am job and work another job at 10pm, but I always make sure to set aside quality time for your pup! When dog sitting at my place or yours, I take days off from my night job so I can be there most of the time. I’ll still work my morning job, but only until 1pm, ensuring I’m available to give your dog the care and attention they deserve. I have a dog too, so to keep both pets safe, I always make sure they have a proper introduction first. I’d never leave them alone together and will keep a close eye on your pup at all times! At night, we use a downstairs area connected to my bedroom for some quiet time. We also have a 4ft fenced backyard where your pup can run and play freely, plus plenty of toys to keep them entertained!
About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of attention, patience, and adaptability I bring to every pet I care for. I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach—each animal has its own personality, needs, and routines, and I make it a priority to learn and follow those closely so they feel safe and comfortable. I have experience working with both young and senior pets, which means I’m comfortable handling very different energy levels and care requirements. For puppies and kittens, I focus on reinforcing positive habits like basic training, crate routines, and socialization, all while keeping things fun and consistent. I’m patient with accidents and understand that early stages require structure and encouragement. For senior pets, I provide a calmer, more attentive style of care. I’m mindful of mobility issues, medication schedules, and any special dietary or health needs. I also make sure they get gentle exercise and plenty of companionship without overexertion. Beyond that, I’m very detail-oriented and communicative. I keep owners updated with messages and photos, and I’m quick to notice any changes in behavior that might need attention. Whether it’s an energetic puppy or a slower-moving senior companion, my goal is always the same: to provide reliable, thoughtful care that makes both pets and owners feel at ease. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I build my schedule around consistency and reliability. I structure my days to make sure I have dedicated time blocks for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins, so pets are never rushed or treated as an afterthought. On a daily basis, I plan my mornings and evenings to align with typical feeding and exercise schedules, and I leave flexibility in the middle of the day for walks, drop-in visits, or extra attention if a pet needs it. I’m very mindful of maintaining the routines pets are already used to, since that helps them feel secure and comfortable. Throughout the week, I manage my availability ისე I don’t overbook, which allows me to give each pet the time and attention they deserve. Whether it’s regular visits or longer stays, I make sure I can be fully present and responsive to their needs. Overall, pet care isn’t something I squeeze in—it’s something I intentionally plan my routine around so I can provide consistent, dependable care. I tailor my care depending on whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in a client’s home, but in both cases my focus is on keeping their routine consistent, reducing stress, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. In my home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment where animals have space to relax as well as opportunities for play and exercise. I stick closely to their usual feeding schedule, potty breaks, and any training routines they’re used to. I supervise interactions carefully and make sure each pet gets individual attention, affection, and downtime. Cleanliness and safety are a priority, so I keep the space secure and free of hazards. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and preferred activities, and I respect the home environment by keeping things tidy and organized. Staying in their familiar space helps pets feel more at ease, especially those who are anxious or older. For both settings, I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and energy levels so I can quickly notice if something seems off. I also provide regular updates with messages and photos so owners can feel confident and connected while they’re away. No matter the service, my goal is to provide dependable, attentive care that keeps pets happy, healthy, and comfortable.
About: Lifelong animal lover offering reliable dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs and cats. I’ve cared for pets my entire life and previously boarded dogs through Rover, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. In 2017 I was an active Rover sitter and boarded dogs in my home for about a year, working with several families and building repeat clients. During that time I had multiple dogs and cats of my own, as well as young children, so I’m very comfortable managing busy households and different pet personalities. Today I have one dog and one cat of my own and am excited to return to Rover focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. I’m happy to help with: • Dog walking (short or long walks) • Drop-in visits for dogs or cats • Feeding, fresh water, and routine care • Litter box cleaning for cats • Playtime, attention, and companionship • Basic medications when pets are comfortable receiving them I’ve also worked in boarding facilities, grooming salons, and doggy daycares, which gave me experience handling many different types of dogs and temperaments. I’m known for being calm, patient, and routine-focused, and I treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a wide-open schedule and can be flexible to meet your pet’s needs, whether it’s daily walks or regular drop-in visits. I primarily drive to visits, so I can reach most locations efficiently. To ensure the best care for your pets, I ask for at least a day’s notice when scheduling or canceling visits. Since this is my main source of income, I can be consistent and dependable, giving your pets the attention and routine they deserve. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. Dogs are always leashed during walks, and I adjust routes or pause if other dogs are nearby to ensure a calm, controlled experience. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at once, as long as they get along well. I handle pets with anxiety, aggression, or medical needs carefully, following all instructions from their parents. During drop-in visits, I take my lead from pet parents and follow any guidance provided, ensuring I leave the home exactly as I found it — doors locked, secure, and everything in order. My goal is to provide a safe, consistent, and worry-free experience for both pets and their families.
“Charlie is literally a godsend! She is amazing with all my animals and I highly recommend her. I have used her multiple times and plan to continue to do so. She sends me updates and pictures of my fur babies every time. She communicates well and is timely with her visits. 10/10 recommend!”

About: I have my own reactive dog I’ve learned so much about. In the 8 years we’ve had him, we have been able to watch his growth, and my own, as we’ve learned what his needs are. I have successfully brought a puppy into our home and trained him alongside our older, reactive dog. I understand the need for love and patience. I am a teacher in the Papillion district and would love to be involved in the community. I love animals, being outside, and creating relationships with new people. I am open during the summer and nights and weekend when school starts back up! I am experienced with my own reactive dog. I have learned so much about walking, crate training, and overall daily mental health stimulation for him. I understand the balance of love and support for animals who need extra care and attention.

About: I have experience in training and animals handling. I have been called an animal whisperer. I am open to all pets even aggressive ones. I have experience in exotic pets as well. I am in college and I take care of animals in between my classes. This will not take away from my time spent with your animals and I will be fully focused on your pet while I am there. I have a large amount of experience with animal behavior. I can confidently and comfortably care for all types of animals regardless of temperament or aggression level. Your pet will always be safe with me.
About: I have been watching, playing, bathing dogs for a while now, I love all animals and I am excited to make sure your baby is in good hands. I have school right now and nothing else going on so I would have any time later in the day to go check in on your fur babies. I wash my dog once a week and we have a tall wood fence surrounding our whole backyard. I refill food 3 times a day and refill water whenever their water bowl is looking less than full.
About: In addition to owning my own dogs for 12 years, I have extensive experience fostering dogs of all sizes, including experience with giant breeds. I have cared for dogs with various medical and behavioral issues and am experienced in administering insulin injections. I have over 10 years of experience in animal rescue and currently run a cat rescue. I work-from-home Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, and I come home over lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so pets are rarely home alone, and never for more than 5 hours at a time. I always feed dogs separately to avoid any resource guarding issues. I have the ability to feed dogs as many as 4 times a day and have experience giving a variety of medicines, including subcutaneous fluids. I have a large, securely fenced backyard that has a 6-foot privacy fence. I can also take dogs for walks or runs, weather permitting. I allow dogs on furniture but I can keep them off it you would prefer. I also have kennels/beds/dishes/toys, so all clients need to bring are food and medication, unless you think your pets would prefer their own stuff.
About: Hi, my name is Krissy and I am 34 years old and I work at Elkhorn Public Schools. I was raised around various dogs and cats, as well as rodents, and fish my whole life. I am very comfortable around all dog breeds from puppies to seniors. I am comfortable giving medicine, as my own dog went thru cancer and needed medicine. I understand that every pet is different and would ask that you show me the way that you give medicine. I currently own (and spoil) a 5 year old female lab named Luna and an 11 year old female Puggle named Sandy. They are my whole world! My promise to you is to treat your pet like I would my own by providing lots of exercise, fun, and a comfortable and safe environment. I will work closely with you to find what will work best for you by meeting with you before hand to make sure that I am a good fit. I would want to keep your pet on the same schedule and not to throw them off. I appreciate you checking out my profile and look forward to providing you with a great service for you and your pet. Instagram & Facebook: krissysfurbabyworld I work at Elkhorn Public Schools as a paraprofessional. I leave for work at 7:00 AM and return at 3:15 pm. I am unable to provide a mid day bathroom break. During the summer, I have tons of flexibility. Unfortunately, I do not board dogs in my home at this time as my own dog does not enjoy other dogs. Thank You very much.
About: I have 2 of my own dachshunds and also foster for Nebraska Dachshund Rescue. I have lived with large (Newfoundland) and small dogs providing walks and daily care. I can recognize abnormal excrement and report it to the owner. Each dog has their own personality and needs to be respected for the individual they are. I have a dog with some food intolerances (as I do myself) and understand that one food or treat does not fit all animals. My availability varies depending on my weekly schedule. On days I work I would be available to provide an evening walk for your baby. On my days off I could help out most times if the day I am comfortable walking you pet/pup or coming to you house while you are gone to take care of birds, fish, reptiles, rodents. Whatever the need may be! I am available after 1700 Monday through Friday and anytime on weekends. Availability on holidays will vary, but my calendar will be updated to show such. I will follow whatever requests you have for the care of your pet. I will respect whatever diet/treat schedule you have for them. I will make certain they wear their galoshes & sweater for walks if that is what you request!

“Bailey and her family did amazing with Moose. Our sitter canceled on us week before our trip and she was willing to watch our 3 month old puppy on short notice. She sent lots of pictures and updates. Moose had a great time and he will definitely be back! Thank you so much!!”

“Patricia is the only sitter I will now go to on Rover. She is incredibly attentive and caring towards every little soul that she takes into her home. Lola comes back so happy and healthy every single time. Thank you for everything!”

“Andrea and her family are extremely loving and patient. She sent updates and lots of pictures of our senior dog and puppy while we were away. Both dogs were well taken care of and loved.”
“Nicole and her family seemed to do a great job taking care of our dog. She sent updates everyday on what they did and how she was doing. We picked Sunny up tired, happy, and healthy. Thank you Nicole.”

“Our poodle had a wonderful stay and enjoyed playing with Cheryl's two dogs. Cheryl sent pics of the dogs and my family loved the updates. We hope to have our dog stay with Cheryl in the future! Thanks for a great weekend, Cheryl!”

“Our dogs, George and Fred, were well cared for at Michelle’s house! We received regular pictures and updates and the boys always looked like they were having a blast! Thank you so much!”

“As always, Torey did an excellent job taking care of our dog Banjo while we were away for over a week. I could tell from the pics that he was having a lot of fun while we were gone and got to play with multiple other dogs which he loves. He has a home away from home with Torey.”

“Jill and her family love Stella and take such good care of her when she stays at their home. Jill sends pictures of Stella and lets us know how she is doing. We are so blessed to have Jill and her family care for Stella.”
“The absolute best! Danielle kept us updated everyday while we were away, sent us pictures, and was flexible when our flight arrived late at night. Safe to say, Danielle will be our go-to sitter from now on!”

“Andy was great! He sent videos of our dog every day so we had peace of mind knowing she was well taken care of. He’s got a big fenced yard and our dog loved playing out there with Louie and the other dog he was watching. We will definitely use Andy again!”
