Personalized care for your dog or cat - Chalco

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Chalco
“I can’t say enough good things about Jaclyn. She not only helped us out in a last minute emergency, but our dog was welcomed with open arms as if she was her own. She also sent sweet pictures and updates throughout the timeframe she watched her. 10000% I would recommend her to anyone. She really is the best!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! From the moment we left for vacation (and before), we felt completely at ease knowing our boy was in such great hands. They truly went above and beyond—sending updates, reassuring us, and treating him like part of their own family. He had an absolute blast playing with their dogs and came home so happy and well cared for. It’s clear how much love and attention they give to every pet they watch. We are beyond grateful to have found them and will only be using them anytime we’re away. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Emily took great care of our dog Dexter on the day of my son's wedding. Dexter is elderly and really craves companionship since losing his sister. It was such a relief to know he was being well taken care of on our busy day. She sent us pictures of him playing and he looked so happy. We are planning to take him to Emily for another "staycation" when we are out of town over Thanksgiving.”
“This was my anxious boy’s second visit with Trish. The first visit was for daycare, and this was an overnight visit. Trish took great care of my boy! She sent me regular updates and pictures since we weren’t sure how he would do in a new environment. My boy looks happy and relaxed in all the pictures! He doesn’t do well in an overnight stay at the kennel, but he was clearly safe and happy here! We will definitely be repeat customers! Trish is the best!”

“Ellie looks like she had a great time staying with Stephanie and her family for the week. She came home so pooped and slept all day. She was so easy to work with and kept us in the loop. You can tell they really love animals and I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Stephanie again. Thank you for taking care of our girl!”

“Cheryl is amazing! I was traveling from out of town and my dog can be slow to warm up but Cheryl made it very comforting and is great at communicating. She has two dogs who are fun sweeties! I would highly recommend and even return again. She’s is a dog person and makes her own dog treats, very caring pet owner/caretaker!”

“Teddy loves going to Dazhi’s! I always have total peace of mind knowing he’s so well cared for and showered with love. He comes home happy every time — which says it all. 🐾”

“Nicole was amazing! She has 3 well behaved beautiful dogs that got to play and distract Midas while we were gone. She also has some extra little hand that I am sure gave our dog so much love while we were gone! We got pictures daily! We were so happy that he was so well taken care of we would request Nicole anytime we are out of town. Highly recommend”

“Bethany did an amazing job with Eevee. She took care of my little girl as if Eevee were hers. Bethany sent multiple pictures and texts every day, and she made sure my dog got plenty of exercise. I will definitely be a repeat customer!”

“Our Zoey had a terrific time with Melissa! Will be happy to have her care for our BABY again. Did not know a tip was to be given on your site, and was left with her when we picked up Zoey.”

“Tory was more than just amazing. This was our first big trip leaving our puppy behind and she was so understanding and helpful. She sent us pictures of Churro playing, gave us daily updates on how he was doing and even accommodated to a last minute (and very inconvenient) change we had to our plans. After getting locked out of our house on accident she willingly took Churro an extra night no complaints or second thoughts. She even offered to do it without pay (though we would never accept such an offer, especially under those circumstances). We would and will recommend her a thousand times over. Churro had such an amazing time, we have never seen him so happy or comfortable while we were gone, he’s usually a nervous wreck. She is a natural with dogs, and it shows in their demeanor with her. We are so grateful for this great experience.”

“Amy is great! My 9 rear old lab had great time playing in her big back yard. She was well taken care of and one tired dog when I picked her up. Thanks for taking Copper in such a short notice.”
“I am so grateful Andrea and her family were able to watch my pup while I went out of town! They always take the best care of her. They send plenty of updates and pictures and so I feel great knowing she is being well loved and cared for. You guys are the best! Thank you 😊”

“This was my first time booking with Kristen and she (and her pup Connor) were fantastic! I felt very comfortable leaving Beignet with her! She was very flexible and accommodating to Beignet’s medication needs especially last minute changes which made leaving him for 8 days much easier on me. She is very responsive and graciously accomodated a schedule change due to travel delays. She also made meet & greet, pick up, and drop off quick and easy! She sent updates with pictures and is very responsive! Beignet came home happy and I think he gained a friend in Connor! I would highly recommend Kristen and definitely will be using her again in the future!”

“Our recently adopted Gerry had never been to a sitter before and we weren’t sure how he’d do around other dogs. After our meet & greet I knew he’d be well taken care of. Michelle sent me updates the day we were gone and pics assuring me that Gerry was getting along well w/ the other dogs in her care. He came home happy and smiley!! We’ll be using Michelle and her girls again and will recommend her to friends!”

“Michaela was wonderful! Her communication is great and she made us feel very comfortable leaving our cat, Juniper, in her care. She was consistent with her visits and is very dependable. We will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Katie was great! She checked in with me, sent pictures, and I came home to happy and healthy cats. My girl is not a huge fan of people so I was shocked by how many pictures Katie had of her. She must be a true cat whisperer.”

“Charlie was AMAZING when she took care of my cats this past week. She was extremely communicative, took the time to love on my cats, and even drove to a friend’s house to pick up my house key after I left her the wrong one! Charlie goes above and beyond and I will be using her many more times!”

“Abigail looked after my two cats while I was away for Thanksgiving. She didn’t mind coming on the holiday and during a snowstorm! I received great updates, pictures and a clean home upon arrival. Most of all, my cats were doing well!! I will book Abigail for future vacations. :)”

About: I’ve had cats as part of my family for many years and currently have a cat of my own. Over the years I’ve cared for several cats with different personalities and needs, including shy cats and cats that prefer a quiet, patient approach. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, refreshing food and water, litter box cleaning, and giving cats attention and playtime based on their comfort level. I understand that some cats love interaction while others prefer calm companionship, and I always respect their space and routine. I can also assist with basic medications when a cat is comfortable receiving them. My goal during drop-in visits is to make sure your cat feels safe, cared for, and relaxed while you’re away.

“Lynn was very good at communicating with us while we were gone. Our cat has a chronic condition and requires medication. She contacted me every day and we discussed what medication and how often. Pippin was in good shape when we got back and I credit Lynn for that.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for most of my adult life. As a kid I was never able to have pets, so as an adult I’ve always had multiple dogs. I love dogs and enjoy their personalities and fun loving nature. Weekends and holidays are spent at home with the family, and the four-legged family members get plenty of playtime! During the week, I work full-time. Our dogs are kennel-trained and enjoy their downtime during the day. Once home, they’re out and a part of all our evening activities. We have a fenced-in yard where they can run and play non-stop. Our fenced-in yard is an excellent space for our four energetic dogs to run and play. They love to play non-stop, and our kids, who are also dog lovers, enjoy playing along with them.

“I have never used Rover and it was a last minute booking with Angelina. She did amazing with our dog and made sure she came and took him out twice a day while we was out of town. I will be using her in the future!”

“Lilian is great with my Oli, he likes her and gives her the belly flop for belly scritches. She is willing to do tasks like water plants or roll out the garbage. I highly recommend her!”

“Marta does a great job communicating with me and taking care of my cats. The place looks great when I get back. And I know they’re well taken care of with the updates and pictures I receive each visit.”

About: I've watched dogs of friends and family on and off for the past 11 years. It's been a mix of older dogs, young dogs, large and small. I'm a stay at home mom. Our pets are rarely home alone for more than a couple hours at a time a couple days each week. I have a fenced in yard and friendly pooch with loads of toys to share. Our dog has unlimited access to the yard as long as I am home. A water dish is always out and available. We do have a cat who free ranges around the house, but she tends to make herself scarce when other dogs are in the house.

I’m an active retiree and I’m home full time to give your dog the care they need. They will be allowed ample playtime and multiple walks in a safe environment. I have a fully fenced in backyard and dogs will be supervised when playing outside. I’m attentive to the needs of the dogs under my care whether in my home or your home. I am fully insured through pet care insurance. About: I love and respect dogs. I've had a dog my entire adult life - from puppy to senior dogs, small to larger breeds. Keeping your dog happy and healthy is important to me. I aim to keep the routine you have established for your dog while you are away. I'll communicate with you as much or as little as you would like. *My work environment has recently changed. I now work in office but, with flexible hours and availability to work from home when needed. Your dog may be left inside my home for no more than three hours at a time. Your dog will have opportunity during my breaks to be let out to potty as well as to receive whatever play or attention is needed. In the late afternoon someone is always home and the evenings you can expect your dog to receive lots of love and attention whether that's playing fetch, doing a sniff mat, going for a walk, cuddling, or enjoying some fresh air and sunshine, as the weather permits. I am interested in knowing about the dogs in my care and try to gather as much information about their care needs. All restrictions related to their care will be respected and carried out. Socialization, love, and safety are top priorities to help keep your dog happy. My home is in a quiet residential area near a school and parks. Our yard is fenced - 4 feet on most sides. Until your dog is used to being in my home, I will supervise in the backyard to aid in their adjustment and to ensure their safety. Dogs are permitted in most areas of the home, but I like to keep them close by while attending to other things. We have a small and large crate available. Dogs are permitted on furniture but, we can keep them off if that is part of your home rules. Keeping consistent with how you care for your own pet is important to me. I prefer to do a meet and greet with your pet prior to taking on their care if possible. This gives me an opportunity to become familiar with the pet, pet owner, and ask questions about your dog's care and preferences. It also helps your dog become familiar with my home.

During the summer, I have tons of flexibility. Unfortunately, I do not board dogs in my home at this time as my own dog does not enjoy other dogs. Thank You very much.
About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience and 7 years working in veterinary medicine. I studied Animal Science and currently serve as a Health Coordinator in shelter medicine, after years of experience as a veterinary assistant. My background includes working in Emergency and General Practice, so I am confident for caring for pets with a wide range of needs, from puppies and kittens to seniors and those requiring medications or special instructions. I’m especially patient with anxious or shy animals and understand how to make them feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, nail trims, giving medications or providing calm reassurance, I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to give owners complete peace of mind. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 7am–4pm, with Fridays ending at 2pm. This gives me plenty of availability for weekday evenings (also early mornings), weekends, and Friday afternoons. When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to follow your routines and instructions closely so your pet feels comfortable and secure. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, medications, nail trims, exercise, and providing enrichment so they feel happy and relaxed. My background in animal medicine also helps me notice small changes in behavior or health, giving you extra peace of mind. I do have a French Bulldog puppy who unfortunately is blind but training her and adding her to the family has had a good impact on how to handle and care special needs animals.

About: Lifelong animal lover offering reliable dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs and cats. I’ve cared for pets my entire life and previously boarded dogs through Rover, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. In 2017 I was an active Rover sitter and boarded dogs in my home for about a year, working with several families and building repeat clients. During that time I had multiple dogs and cats of my own, as well as young children, so I’m very comfortable managing busy households and different pet personalities. Today I have one dog and one cat of my own and am excited to return to Rover focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. I’m happy to help with: • Dog walking (short or long walks) • Drop-in visits for dogs or cats • Feeding, fresh water, and routine care • Litter box cleaning for cats • Playtime, attention, and companionship • Basic medications when pets are comfortable receiving them I’ve also worked in boarding facilities, grooming salons, and doggy daycares, which gave me experience handling many different types of dogs and temperaments. I’m known for being calm, patient, and routine-focused, and I treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a wide-open schedule and can be flexible to meet your pet’s needs, whether it’s daily walks or regular drop-in visits. I primarily drive to visits, so I can reach most locations efficiently. To ensure the best care for your pets, I ask for at least a day’s notice when scheduling or canceling visits. Since this is my main source of income, I can be consistent and dependable, giving your pets the attention and routine they deserve. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. Dogs are always leashed during walks, and I adjust routes or pause if other dogs are nearby to ensure a calm, controlled experience. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at once, as long as they get along well. I handle pets with anxiety, aggression, or medical needs carefully, following all instructions from their parents. During drop-in visits, I take my lead from pet parents and follow any guidance provided, ensuring I leave the home exactly as I found it — doors locked, secure, and everything in order. My goal is to provide a safe, consistent, and worry-free experience for both pets and their families.
“Amy is one of the best people on Rover I’ve ever encountered. She’s easy to communicate with, extremely responsive, and clearly cares very deeply about the animals she meets. She’s patient, attentive, and trustworthy beyond words. We were extremely lucky to have her care for Sadie weekly, and we’d recommend her to anyone.”

About: I have 2 of my own dachshunds and also foster for Nebraska Dachshund Rescue. I have lived with large (Newfoundland) and small dogs providing walks and daily care. I can recognize abnormal excrement and report it to the owner. Each dog has their own personality and needs to be respected for the individual they are. I have a dog with some food intolerances (as I do myself) and understand that one food or treat does not fit all animals. My availability varies depending on my weekly schedule. On days I work I would be available to provide an evening walk for your baby. On my days off I could help out most times if the day I am comfortable walking you pet/pup or coming to you house while you are gone to take care of birds, fish, reptiles, rodents. Whatever the need may be! I am available after 1700 Monday through Friday and anytime on weekends. Availability on holidays will vary, but my calendar will be updated to show such. I will follow whatever requests you have for the care of your pet. I will respect whatever diet/treat schedule you have for them. I will make certain they wear their galoshes & sweater for walks if that is what you request!

About: I have owned and taken care of pets since I was a little girl. As an adult I have had many dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, and fish, usually 2-3 at a time. I’m experienced with puppies and kittens, geriatric pets, and pets with needs. I currently have 2 golden retrievers, Chewy 5 who is battling cancer, and Winston our puppy who is 6 months old. We currently have 3 cats, Monkey, Nala, and Stash. Chewy was diagnosed with cancer last winter, so I am familiar with taking care of a pet who does not feel well and needs medicine. Winston is the 6th puppy we have had, so I have a lot of experience with house training and typical puppy needs. I love taking care of family and friends pets, they just become an extended pet family of my own, and I would treat your pets the same. I am a stay at home mom of 5 kids, my youngest are 13, my oldest is 25. Outside of drop off and pick up from school I have plenty of time to visit your pet and let them out, throw some toys around the yard, take them for walks, whatever, the need may be I would follow whatever instructions a pet owner had for me to take care of their pet. I am very good with communication, so I would keep the owner up to date on the visits, how they went, send pictures, etc.

“Millie loved her stay at Robert’s house! It was my first time leaving her for two weeks so I was nervous, but Robert checked in daily with updates and photos. Millie loved his backyard and their daily walks/ runs. Definitely plan to use Robert again in the future!”

“Kayle and her family were amazing! They took such great care of my dog. They sent pictures and updates. I felt so confident that my pup was being taken care of and having fun while I was gone. I’m so grateful I found them on here! I will absolutely book them again :)”
