About: I love and respect dogs. I've had a dog my entire adult life - from puppy to senior dogs, small to larger breeds. Keeping your dog happy and healthy is important to me. I aim to keep the routine you have established for your dog while you are away. I'll communicate with you as much or as little as you would like. *My work environment has recently changed. I now work in office but, with flexible hours and availability to work from home when needed. Your dog may be left inside my home for no more than three hours at a time. Your dog will have opportunity during my breaks to be let out to potty as well as to receive whatever play or attention is needed. In the late afternoon someone is always home and the evenings you can expect your dog to receive lots of love and attention whether that's playing fetch, doing a sniff mat, going for a walk, cuddling, or enjoying some fresh air and sunshine, as the weather permits. I am interested in knowing about the dogs in my care and try to gather as much information about their care needs. All restrictions related to their care will be respected and carried out. Socialization, love, and safety are top priorities to help keep your dog happy. My home is in a quiet residential area near a school and parks. Our yard is fenced - 4 feet on most sides. Until your dog is used to being in my home, I will supervise in the backyard to aid in their adjustment and to ensure their safety. Dogs are permitted in most areas of the home, but I like to keep them close by while attending to other things. We have a small and large crate available. Dogs are permitted on furniture but, we can keep them off if that is part of your home rules. Keeping consistent with how you care for your own pet is important to me. I prefer to do a meet and greet with your pet prior to taking on their care if possible. This gives me an opportunity to become familiar with the pet, pet owner, and ask questions about your dog's care and preferences. It also helps your dog become familiar with my home.

About: My Fiancé and I have 3 dogs of our own. We have a 13 year old Terrior Mix, a 8 year old Yorkie and a 1 year old Lhasa Apso. We also have an 9 year old child here part time. I've done in house and drop in pet sitting for family and friends over the years, and have spent time caring for special needs pets (medicine, on-time insulin injections, diapers, etc.). Responsibilities for these jobs consisted of feeding pets, walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes, and keeping them entertained and happy. Other requests that I have performed during these stays include watching the house and performing such functions as getting the mail, watering plants, taking out the trash, etc. I have 2 cats and a dog of my own. I enjoy taking him on walks frequently and being a great companion. I have cared for all sizes of dogs and dealt with both hyper and more laid back ones. I also enjoy running, so if you have a very active dog, I am a good choice. I am also okay with going at a slower pace. I have a huge heart for animals and they always tend to enjoy my company. I would describe myself as responsible, loving, and conscientious. Summer time means all the time for your pets. I work in a school so summer break means I have a lot of availability to care for your furry friends. I will follow whatever wishes and desires you have for your fur babies while in my care. About: In addition to owning my own dogs for 12 years, I have extensive experience fostering dogs of all sizes, including experience with giant breeds. I have cared for dogs with various medical and behavioral issues and am experienced in administering insulin injections. I have over 10 years of experience in animal rescue and currently run a cat rescue. I work-from-home Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, and I come home over lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so pets are rarely home alone, and never for more than 5 hours at a time. I always feed dogs separately to avoid any resource guarding issues. I have the ability to feed dogs as many as 4 times a day and have experience giving a variety of medicines, including subcutaneous fluids. I have a large, securely fenced backyard that has a 6-foot privacy fence. I can also take dogs for walks or runs, weather permitting. I allow dogs on furniture but I can keep them off it you would prefer. I also have kennels/beds/dishes/toys, so all clients need to bring are food and medication, unless you think your pets would prefer their own stuff.

I am very comfortable around all dog breeds from puppies to seniors. I am comfortable giving medicine, as my own dog went thru cancer and needed medicine. I understand that every pet is different and would ask that you show me the way that you give medicine. I currently own (and spoil) a 5 year old female lab named Luna and an 11 year old female Puggle named Sandy. They are my whole world! My promise to you is to treat your pet like I would my own by providing lots of exercise, fun, and a comfortable and safe environment. I will work closely with you to find what will work best for you by meeting with you before hand to make sure that I am a good fit. “Tory was more than just amazing. This was our first big trip leaving our puppy behind and she was so understanding and helpful. She sent us pictures of Churro playing, gave us daily updates on how he was doing and even accommodated to a last minute (and very inconvenient) change we had to our plans. After getting locked out of our house on accident she willingly took Churro an extra night no complaints or second thoughts. She even offered to do it without pay (though we would never accept such an offer, especially under those circumstances). We would and will recommend her a thousand times over.
