About: I currently have 3 dogs, 2 are foster fails. One from a rescue I volunteered for and the other through a family member who made a rash decision to buy a puppy. All 3 dogs are different in size, small, medium and large. All are tan and was not planned that way. Age range is 12, 11, and 8. My oldest has to have multiple kinds of eyedrops 3 times a day. He is unfortunately blind, but he is still happy. I have experience with fostering dogs and working with rescue organizations. I am currently a stay-at-home dog mom of 3. I have time to play, feed, walk or let out your dog anytime during the day and can stay with them for a little while. I consider my pets as my children and treat them with love and great care. I believe a person's energy affects how a dog reacts to them, so I do my best to stay calm around dogs in general. I am not super strict and will give love and kisses and bring excited energy when the situation is safe to do so. I like to train my dogs on their basics skills and tricks because I do believe that makes life easier for everyone. I am not opposed to crate training or using it when necessary.

About: I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs. I even took care of my senior childhood dog. I now have two dachshunds of my own. I also did some cat and dog sitting in high school. I love to go on walks and am looking forward to meeting new pet friends! I am currently working at Target as many hours as I can. My schedule is inconsistent and changes week from week. However, I’m willing to work around my work schedule to book with pets! I can take dogs out as much as needed, feed them, take them on walks, and play with them! Every pet is different! I will tend to their needs.
“Usually we don't get to see our sitters in action; we're away, and that's why they're there. This time however I was recovering from surgery and needed Sierra to take care of walks etc. that I couldn't do. As always she was reliable, punctual, and flexible. Watching her relate to Jasper and Boo was a revelation though, she has a natural gift for bonding with them and a genuine love for them and what she does. Jasper's eleven, but he was acting more like two when she was playing with him, really put a spring in that old guy's step! Meant a lot to me to see the pets' spirits being lifted as well as mine, helped with my recovery as I wasn't feeling especially great. And always ready to take care of any other little thing that needed doing. I'm very grateful, and can recommend her wholeheartedly. Thank you Sierra!”

About: I have my own reactive dog I’ve learned so much about. In the 8 years we’ve had him, we have been able to watch his growth, and my own, as we’ve learned what his needs are. I have successfully brought a puppy into our home and trained him alongside our older, reactive dog. I understand the need for love and patience. I am a teacher in the Papillion district and would love to be involved in the community. I love animals, being outside, and creating relationships with new people. I am open during the summer and nights and weekend when school starts back up! I am experienced with my own reactive dog. I have learned so much about walking, crate training, and overall daily mental health stimulation for him. I understand the balance of love and support for animals who need extra care and attention.

About: I I have experience pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, caring for dogs and cats of different breeds and temperaments. My responsibilities have included daily walks, feeding, cleaning litter boxes, giving medications, and providing companionship. With advanced notice I am very accommodating to meet your needs. I provide loving, reliable care whether pets stay in my home or I care for them in theirs. My top priorities are safety, trust, and maintaining a calm, comfortable environment. I always follow each pet’s routine closely — including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions — to help them feel secure and stress-free.
About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience and 7 years working in veterinary medicine. I’m especially patient with anxious or shy animals and understand how to make them feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, nail trims, giving medications or providing calm reassurance, I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to give owners complete peace of mind. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 7am–4pm, with Fridays ending at 2pm. This gives me plenty of availability for weekday evenings (also early mornings), weekends, and Friday afternoons. When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to follow your routines and instructions closely so your pet feels comfortable and secure. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, medications, nail trims, exercise, and providing enrichment so they feel happy and relaxed. My background in animal medicine also helps me notice small changes in behavior or health, giving you extra peace of mind. I do have a French Bulldog puppy who unfortunately is blind but training her and adding her to the family has had a good impact on how to handle and care special needs animals.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. When I was young, I had two dogs and two cats that I cared for and loved. When I was in grade school, I trained my dog for 4h and earned many achievements in showmanship and agility courses. Many neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to care for their furry friends. I can attend to all of your pets needs. I am currently working full time, so I won’t have a lot of time during the day to drop in, but I am more than happy to stop in in the mornings and evenings (before 8 and after 4pm), as well as any days off I may have to tend your pets needs! I will happily make the trip to parks and fields for plenty of exercise. Also, I will tend to the pets at there very own places so they feel at home in there usual environments.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
