About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals all my life. Grew up on a farm locally and cared for every animal you can imagine. I’m a recently retired educator with a huge heart. I have a safe and clean home and a fenced in back yard! I presently have 1 dog named Chase who is a 3 year old, well mannered and well trained Pomeranian.Ive had both dogs and cats in past 25 plus years. I will care for your furry family member as if they are my own. Since I am retired I have flexibility with my schedule. I am able to schedule care during the work week to include drop ins, walks and even over night and long term care. I have a large fully fenced back yard. I even have an added puppy fence layer to ensure even the smallest pups are safe and secure. My neighborhood is excellent for dog walking as well. Chase my 10 lb pom is excellent company and a fun playmate.

I am a certified foster for multiple local rescue organizations and have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages and needs. I have extensive experience with kittens, puppies, bunnies, ducks, and reptiles; including bottle-feeding and hand-raising many little ones through the rescues we work with. For extra peace of mind, our personal veterinarian—the owner of a local animal hospital—lives right next door, so knowledgeable support is always close by if needed. My own Goldendoodle and I have also completed therapy dog training through Love on a Leash, which has strengthened my understanding of positive, gentle, and attentive animal care. Because I stay home full-time, your pet will receive plenty of supervision, companionship, exercise, and love throughout the day. When your pet is with me, they are treated like family and cared for as if they were my own. I am available 24/7 and on holidays. I am a stay at home mom so your fur babies will have around the clock care and love. I have a large fenced yard and a great neighborhood for leashed walks. We have a certified therapy dog who loves all other pets and a laid back cat who goes with the flow.

Because our home is currently pet-free, your companion will be the center of our world during their stay. They'll get all the custom care, playtime, and cozy cuddles without having to share space with other resident pets. I'm comfortable kenneling dogs per your instructions. I am happy to walk your dog as needed also. I only take dogs out on leashes or a tie down if there isn't a fenced yard.

About: I love and respect dogs. I've had a dog my entire adult life - from puppy to senior dogs, small to larger breeds. Keeping your dog happy and healthy is important to me. I aim to keep the routine you have established for your dog while you are away. I'll communicate with you as much or as little as you would like. *My work environment has recently changed. I now work in office but, with flexible hours and availability to work from home when needed. Your dog may be left inside my home for no more than three hours at a time. Your dog will have opportunity during my breaks to be let out to potty as well as to receive whatever play or attention is needed. In the late afternoon someone is always home and the evenings you can expect your dog to receive lots of love and attention whether that's playing fetch, doing a sniff mat, going for a walk, cuddling, or enjoying some fresh air and sunshine, as the weather permits. I am interested in knowing about the dogs in my care and try to gather as much information about their care needs. All restrictions related to their care will be respected and carried out. Socialization, love, and safety are top priorities to help keep your dog happy. My home is in a quiet residential area near a school and parks. Our yard is fenced - 4 feet on most sides. Until your dog is used to being in my home, I will supervise in the backyard to aid in their adjustment and to ensure their safety. Dogs are permitted in most areas of the home, but I like to keep them close by while attending to other things. We have a small and large crate available. Dogs are permitted on furniture but, we can keep them off if that is part of your home rules. Keeping consistent with how you care for your own pet is important to me. I prefer to do a meet and greet with your pet prior to taking on their care if possible. This gives me an opportunity to become familiar with the pet, pet owner, and ask questions about your dog's care and preferences. It also helps your dog become familiar with my home.
