I loved all the videos and pictures so I knew my puppy was having fun! My puppy is happier getting dropped off than picked up. Super thankful and I’ll recommend Ashlee to anyone!!! 🩷”

About: Hello! We are a Veteran Air Force family located in Bellevue who adores animals. With a background in caring for senior dogs and puppy mill rescues, we offer a quiet, patient environment in our pet-free and child-free home. You can count on us for reliable potty breaks, daily walks, on-time feeding schedules, and plenty of love and spoiling so your dog feels right at home. Please note: At this time, we are exclusively serving Bellevue and are not offering 24/7 care, puppy care, or holiday care. Because our home is currently pet-free, your companion will be the center of our world during their stay. They'll get all the custom care, playtime, and cozy cuddles without having to share space with other resident pets. I'm comfortable kenneling dogs per your instructions. I am happy to walk your dog as needed also. I only take dogs out on leashes or a tie down if there isn't a fenced yard.
“Jennifer took such great care of our energetic pup! It was so nice to know Willow was being well loved & cared for. Jennifer sent a great report card each day and Willow was always worn out when we picked her up. Willow can’t wait for her next play date with Jennifer’s pup & attention from her family.”

About: Hi, I’m Zelina (“Zee”), and caring for animals has been a lifelong passion of mine. I hold a B.S. in Animal Science, Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University and have hands-on experience in dog training, canine behavior, animal care, veterinary medicine, surgery, and orthopedics. Over the years, I’ve worked with dogs in laboratory and veterinary settings, volunteered with animal rescue, and owner-trained my own service dog. I also enjoy training my own dogs, including working with Saga in conformation and scent work, and earning Trick Dog and Canine Good Citizen (CGC) titles with Ollie. My veterinary and animal science background has taught me to look at each dog as an individual, paying attention not only to their behavior and personality but also to their health, comfort, and overall well-being. Whether your dog is playful and energetic, nervous in a new environment, needs extra structure, or simply loves being spoiled, I want them to feel safe, understood, and cared for while they’re with me. As a dog sitter, I bring professional animal experience together with genuine love for dogs. I believe the best care includes plenty of attention, enrichment, patience, and the consistency that helps dogs feel comfortable away from home. My goal is for every pet parent to feel confident knowing their dog is in caring, experienced hands. Because I work from home, your pet receives care in a home environment with plenty of attention throughout the day. When I’m not working, I’m often outside working on our latest project: transforming our backyard into a pet paradise! We’re continually adding improvements and enrichment features to create a safe, fun, and comfortable space for the animals in our care. This means your pet gets to enjoy a relaxed home setting, a consistent routine, and plenty of opportunities for enrichment while they’re staying with us. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Because I work from home, pets staying with me are able to enjoy a calm home environment with regular supervision and attention throughout the day. I maintain a clean, structured, and pet-friendly space and take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, needs, and comfort level before they stay with me. I believe trust is built by respecting each animal as an individual. Some pets are social and love attention, while others need more space and time to settle in. I never force interaction and instead allow pets to become comfortable at their own pace. I provide regular updates through Rover so you can feel connected and confident while you’re away. For pets staying in my home, I provide dedicated spaces and supervised enrichment tailored to their needs. I’m also continually improving our backyard to create a safe and enriching “pet paradise” where pets can enjoy supervised outdoor time. For in-home visits, I follow your pet’s established routine as closely as possible and treat your home and belongings with the same care and respect I would expect in my own home. With my background in animal care and veterinary settings, I’m also attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and overall well-being. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for while their family is away. We have a 6ft privacy fence. We require vaccinations. We require strict sanitation protocols and utilize labortory grade sanitizer and disinfectant to protect your pet.
“Roger has been absolutely amazing with my dog. I bring him to his daycare multiple times each week, and it’s been such a great experience every time. He is reliable, attentive, and clearly cares about the dogs he watches. My dog always comes home happy and well taken care of, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. I highly recommend Rogers daycare to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring place for their dog.”

“Perfect, Toby was happy when we came to pick up and stress free. Pictures were sent during his stay and he was tired when he got home. We will definitely request again. Thank you so much for allowing us to drop him off so early.”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
