“Ashlee and her family were great! They were able to take our pup on short notice for a couple days of doggie day care. Ashlee was always quick to respond, sent multiple updates throughout the day, and very accommodating to our crazy schedule. I would definitely recommend and use her again!”

“Roscoe can't wait to go back and visit Jennifer and Luna! Jennifer was so welcoming that Roscoe felt right at home immediately. We always worry about leaving him because of his separation anxiety yet after a day with Jennifer he was relaxed and happy. He got to be outside, go for a car ride and got plenty of one on one attention. Thank you Jennifer!”

About: *Please note I'm only offering services Bellevue* Hello! We are a Veteran Air Force family who loves animals. I have cared for many senior dogs and puppy mill rescues. I can provide a quiet and patient environment for them. Our home is pet and child free. I'm always available for potty breaks, daily walks, on time feeding schedule & lots of spoiling by treating your dogs like my own. Since the passing of our last pet, we are currently a pet-free home. This gives me all the time to care for your beloved furry family members. I'm comfortable kenneling dogs per your instructions. I am happy to walk your dog as needed also. I only take dogs out on leashes or a tie down if there isn't a fenced yard.
“Mia had another awesome day with Joan, Clark, and Frances. She came home happy and tired as always! If you are looking for someone to take great care of your pet put Joan at the top of your list!”

“Melody was very easy to communicate with, she was very attentive to Buddy and his needs. Accommodating in our unpredictable schedule while we were in the area was a pleasure for us.”

“Ainsley was great! My little dog seemed completely comfortable at her home and was obviously happy when I picked him up. I definitely would recommend her as a sitter — she’s very kind, a great communicator, and clearly loves animals. Will ask her to watch my dog again. Thanks Ainsley! A+++”

“Miss Penny Mae enjoyed the fenced in back yard. She had great play and snuggle time with the other dog at the home. Their little girl and Miss Mae are quite the match :) Penny is a finicky eater and she was comfortable enough to eat at the residence. It's been a great experience! Thank you for caring for my baby girl!”

About: I’ve spent the past 11 years loving and caring for my three pups—Dori (11), Sammy (9), and Gracie (3). We’ve been through all the stages together—from puppy potty training and teething chaos to senior snuggles and slow walks. I know every pet has their own quirks and comforts, and I do my best to make them feel right at home. Whether it’s walks, playtime, belly rubs, or cuddle sessions, your furry friend will get all the love and attention they deserve while you’re away! As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time for playtime, walks, and potty breaks throughout the day. I’m available for boarding or doggy day care any day of the week, so your pup will always have company and attention! Whether they love to nap, play, or go on adventures, I’ll make sure they get the care and routine they’re used to. Your pup will feel right at home here! We’re a busy, happy household with three friendly dogs and two sweet kiddos (ages five and two) — plus a new baby on the way! So visiting dogs get plenty of love, attention, and playmates, both furry and human. All of our dogs and children are wonderful with other animals. Our home has a fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for safe running and playtime. Inside, there are cozy dog beds, soft blankets, and plenty of toys to keep tails wagging. For pups who need their own quiet space, we also have two x-large crates available. I always make safety my top priority and take time to learn each pet’s comfort level with kids and other dogs. Whether your pup loves to play or prefers a calm, quiet spot, I’ll make sure they feel secure, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way.
About: My passion for caring for animals from a very young age! My Grandparents and parents were very influential in teaching me to love and care for them and how to read their body language, most specifically, my dad. I started when I was 15 years old when I owned 3 dogs: two German shepherds and a Pitbull. Throughout my life, I also owned 2 Weimaraners, and an incredible Basset Hound. His name was Hank, and recently passed away being 12 years old. I work remotely as a Project Controller, which is perfect as it provides a lot of flexibility. During my free time, I love hanging out with my family and friends, going on walks, going to the beach, and watching the sunset with my spouse. I also like learning something new and challenging, reading a good book, working out, dancing, and cooking! If you trust me with your dog, she/he may be learning a new language! I work remotely, which is perfect as it provides a lot of flexibility as well as allows me spend more time taking care of my dog as well of others. Doing daily walks, play games, giving them some love! I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog if you prefer and make other accommodations as needed.

“Donna is an excellent dog sitter. She made sure our dog Maggie got a long with her other boarders and kept us posted throughout the day. We appreciated that she only boards smaller dogs as our Maggie is nervous around the big guys.”

“Frankie had so much fun AGAIN! He loves going to Crystals playing with all his friends. She takes such good care of him while he is there we never have to worry about him ❤️❤️”

About: I am a pet momma who loves animals and help families out when needed as I know how hard it is to find good care for their furbabies while away. I am currently off summers so free time is easy but when school starts again I will fit the pet care in after work or weekends. I make things work. I love animals and take very good care of them. I treat them like they are my own pets. Whatever needs they need i will care for them.
“Our dog, Bella, comes home happy from Bethany's house. She gets some quality time and play with other dogs and with children. She doesn't get that at home with two old people. Thank you, Bethany!”

About: I'm new to this, but I've been dog sitting my babies' babies from time to time over the past 2 years and enjoy it. They keep coming back so we must be okay. I'm currently working from home and am able to provide a safe and loving environment for your baby. If I'm not here, my 21 year old will take over. Your baby will spend time with me and my 3 Schnoodles that are the loves of my life. If your baby needs someone to keep them busy, these 3 will do that.
“Unfortunately things didn’t work out, but Courteney was extremely kind about the whole situation and very responsive and proactive when watching Pepper! I would definitely recommend her to someone else, most likely for a dog that is less high-maintenance than mine.”

About: Animals are my life — I grew up on a farm surrounded by dogs, horses, and livestock, I’ve been caring for pets for as long as I can remember (28 years professionally I started pet sitting at age 16 ). I’ve trained and competed in personal protection with dutch Shepherds, lovingly nursed my own Cane Corso through colon cancer, and raised countless puppies and cared for senior dogs with patience and medical know-how. Whether your pup needs structured walks, medication, extra cuddles, or just a calm, experienced friend, they’ll be treated like family in my care. Reliable, strong on safety, and 100 % devoted to happy, healthy pets.” Pet care is my daily routine! My fiancé, our dog, and I travel full-time across the country for his work, ( I will be the only one caring for your pet) so my schedule is completely flexible and built around animals. Mornings start with me walking and feeding our own pup, then I’m free all day for drop-in visits, walks, or overnight stays with your pets. Afternoons and evenings are the same — I’m almost always within a short drive and ready to help whenever you need me. I never have conflicts with a traditional job, appointments, or commuting. Your dog (or cat!) for however long you’re away, will be getting the same love, exercise, and attention I give my own. Reliable, experienced, and always available — that’s how pet care fits into my life every single day.” I treat your house with the same respect I expect for mine — shoes off, counters wiped, lights/temperature left exactly as you like. • Double-leash walks, secure harness/collar checks before every outing, and I carry a pet-safe first-aid supplies at all times. • 28 years of experience means I’m calm in emergencies and know the warning signs of distress, bloat, seizures, etc. Whether at your place or mine, your pet gets the same love and vigilant care I gave my own dog through her cancer journey — they’re never just ‘another booking,’ they’re family while they’re with me.”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bellevue commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
