“Emily and Jim did a phenomenal job taking care of our Maltese. She was pampered and got tons of time going on walks. Emily took the time to get to know our dog, asked a lot of questions to provide amazing service, and was SUPER helpful when we ran into delays with our trip coming back. I definitely recommend Emily and Jim, and will be a repeat customer the next time our pup needs a place to stay!”

“Matthew and his wife took excellent care of my puppy Mosley. They stayed in contact with me before and during the time they cared for him. I will use Matthew again, and I strongly encourage anyone who needs this service to give him a try.”

“Effie had a great time with Ricky and his two pups. Ricky was extra flexible with my travel schedule. Will check with Ricky first next time I’m out of town and Effie needs a place to stay!”

“Thank you Ainsley - it was wonderful to have complete peace of mind while we were away for more than a week from our anxious/nervous dog. He ate, slept, and exercised well and even got to socialize and learn from his role model, Ted! We can't wait to board again with Aisnley and Ted!”

About: With 11 years of hands-on experience caring for both my own pets and others’, I specialize in cats and dogs — I know how to read their body language, keep them comfortable, and stick to their routines. Since I work from home, your pet gets consistent attention throughout the day, not just quick check-ins. And because I don’t have other pets in my home, your pet gets my full, undivided attention — no competing for space, food, or affection with a resident animal. Pet care fits naturally into my everyday life, not just around it. My work is flexible, so I’m either home or able to come back frequently throughout the day — your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches. I’m available all seven days of the week, so there’s no gap in coverage between weekdays and weekends. Boarding • Your pet stays in my home with no other pets competing for attention. I keep feeding and routines on schedule, and since I work from home, someone’s around for most of the day. Drop-ins • I follow whatever routine you’ve set — feeding, medication, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, and playtime — with a photo update after each visit. Walks • One walk a day, paced to your pet’s comfort level, on-leash and supervised the whole time. I pay close attention to their cues, especially with cats and small-to-medium dogs, where I have the most hands-on experience. *Every visit ends with a photo, so you always know your pet is happy and cared for.

“Jill and her sweet family were amazing with our pup! They keep him active and engaged daily and keep me informed with pictures and updates throughout our trip. I highly recommend Jill!!!”

“Roger is a keeper, a gem! I told Roger Fudge has separation anxiety and can’t be left alone. Roger is very considerate and not just drop your dog and leave. When I dropped Fudge, he asked that I bring him to his backyard to keep him at ease and comfortable. Fudge sniffed around and marked his spot :). Then he showed us his home where Fudge will be staying for a week and introduced us to Cam gorgeous whippet. Roger kept us informed, walks him every day and never missed to send us pictures of Fudge’s day. When I had a conflict at work and had to asked last minute for Fudge could stay one more night, Roger was very accommodating. Roger gave Fudge a great home and attention, which puts as at ease that we know Fudge is in good hands in a good home. Thanks Roger for caring for Fudge.”

“My dogs are so happy at Deborah’s house! They return tired but relaxed and happy. They love her! She takes them on walks and to the park, as well as playing with them. Her own dog is very sweet and gets along well with them as well. 10/10!”
“Anne Marie was amazing with our dog Ellie. She would send pictures and videos daily which made us feel at ease with leaving her with a sitter. Our dog got along so well with their dog Rooney, I know she will miss playing with him We will definitely be using her and her family again.”

“Bailey was very good with Oakley - a very large but "old" dog. She had her best interests in mind the whole time and just let Oakley be herself. Very friendly, accommodating, and immediately communicative at all phases of booking, the stay, and the pick up”
“Eleni was amazing! From the very beginning, my Naya girl felt very comfortable around Eleni. Eleni was very communicative and would send pictures and videos even without me requesting them. An above and beyond sitter. If I ever need a dog sitter, I’m going to Eleni! She’s the best!”

“Highly recommend Jaclyn! Although I’d kind of like to keep her a secret! You can tell she is dog lover! My dog had fun running with their dogs! Would definitely use her again!”

“Carol was awesome - super easy to work with, went above and beyond, and our dog always looked so happy and well cared for in the picture she shared. She was a total joy, and we immediately added her to the top of our rebook list!”

“Allyson was amazing! Our 6 month old puppy, was a handful since she had never been left before. Allyson went above and beyond to make Sophie comfortable, happy, and to feel loved and was soon running around playing and enjoying her new surroundings. I would highly recommend Allyson, to care for your beloved pets. I know I will be using her again for mine!”

“Emily was absolutely amazing! Margot is still a puppy, and this was her first time away from us, so I was understandably nervous. Emily answered all of my questions quickly and was so kind and reassuring throughout the entire stay. I received daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind — and Margot clearly had the best time! We will absolutely be booking with her again, and I have a feeling Margot will be so excited to go back ♥️”

“Frida took such good care of our Lucy! She updated us frequently with pictures! It was so great to know she was getting spoiled and cuddled while she stayed there. Would definitely recommend Frida for exceptional care and love for your pet while you are away!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bellevue
Kelsey and family helped take care of my baby Blue while dropping my son off to college. It was such a great feeling knowing my dog could lounge on their bed & couch/sunbathe on the porch/have lots of affection and attention. It helped me to focus on a big chapter in my son’s life, thanks to their great care. 🌸

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
