“Eleni was amazing! From the very beginning, my Naya girl felt very comfortable around Eleni. Eleni was very communicative and would send pictures and videos even without me requesting them. An above and beyond sitter. If I ever need a dog sitter, I’m going to Eleni! She’s the best!”

“This was our first time taking Hazel to someone for boarding so we were a little nervous. Roger was great at communicating and sending pics. Hazel wasn’t even anxious to leave when we arrived for pick up.”

“We had the most pleasant experience! This was our first time ever using Rover, and they made it such a positive one. They kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious that our dogs were receiving lots of love and attention! We honestly felt like they were being spoiled the entire time! They truly went above and beyond for our pups and treated them as if they were their own. Their care, communication, and kindness made all the difference, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend them and would absolutely trust them with our dogs again. ❤️🐾”

“Anne Marie was amazing with our dog Ellie. She would send pictures and videos daily which made us feel at ease with leaving her with a sitter. Our dog got along so well with their dog Rooney, I know she will miss playing with him We will definitely be using her and her family again.”

“Would give 10 stars if I could!! Ricky was absolutely great with our Birdie! Our dog and his were a great fit. Ricky understands the needs of a high energy breed and provided lots of exercise. He was very flexible and accommodating. I will most definitely use him again next time we visit Omaha! Thank you Ricky so much! Birdie is still sleeping by the way :)”

“It was my first time boarding Oliver and was a bit nervous to do so but Amy was great! I met her before hand so Oliver would get introduced to the new environment. I came back from vacation and Oliver was so happy and fluffy tailed so I know he was treated like a prince! I will definitely book with Amy again if she’s available!”

“Alexis did an amazing job watching my doggo for me over the weekend while I was out of town! She sent multiple updates daily which included pictures of my dog having a great time:) I never had any doubts as to his safety and wellbeing. If you need your dog boarded I cannot recommend Alexis enough!”

About: I’m well versed with all dogs as I’ve had pets since I was young, I’m especially familiar with high energy dogs as I have a German shorthaired pointer named Rue. Rue holds an AKC title and does various dog sports. I’m very familiar with dog behavior due to all of the training I’ve done with Rue. I’m the go to dog sitter for most of my friends and family. Whether your dog is a couch potato or is rambunctious I am ready for it! I’m a hair stylist who creates my own schedule. Because of this I’m very flexible and can be home whenever! I’m off Mondays/Sundays and my hours vary throughout the week. I like to plan gaps in my day so I’m able to go home and give your dog and mine some TLC. My boyfriend also has a flexible schedule and will be able to provide potty breaks mid-day if I’m not able to. I have a fenced in yard for pups to run around in. I also love taking the dogs for walks and on adventures if you’re okay with it! My dog Rue will be around for your dog to have a companion. I will feed dogs separately to avoid any issues surrounding food. I can also kennel your dog if needed. Rue is kenneled when I am not home, so there will be no unsupervised time with the dogs. I also have a Furbo nanny camera so I’m able to check in on dogs throughout the day while I’m not home.
“Kristen was friendly and accommodating for a week stay for Reggie. She sent photos and kept us informed on how Reggie was doing, including how he was during fireworks. He was clearly well loved while we were gone. Will be rebooking with Kristen again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bellevue
Kelsey and family helped take care of my baby Blue while dropping my son off to college. It was such a great feeling knowing my dog could lounge on their bed & couch/sunbathe on the porch/have lots of affection and attention. It helped me to focus on a big chapter in my son’s life, thanks to their great care. 🌸

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
