“Ashlee was amazing!!! Murphy has a hard time adjusting to new people and surroundings, and she really took the time to get him acclimated and was patient with him. She kept me up to date with how he was doing, eating, and using the restroom. She has a great setup for the dogs and genuinely cares for them all so much. I’ll happily book with Ashlee for any future needs :)”

About: *Please note I'm only offering services Bellevue* Hello! We are a Veteran Air Force family who loves animals. I have cared for many senior dogs and puppy mill rescues. I can provide a quiet and patient environment for them. Our home is pet and child free. I'm always available for potty breaks, daily walks, on time feeding schedule & lots of spoiling by treating your dogs like my own. Since the passing of our last pet, we are currently a pet-free home. This gives me all the time to care for your beloved furry family members. I'm comfortable kenneling dogs per your instructions. I am happy to walk your dog as needed also. I only take dogs out on leashes or a tie down if there isn't a fenced yard.
“Mia came home from Joan’s house happy and tired as always! She always enjoys her time with Joan and her family, and she is always well taken care of. If you are in need of a dog sitter, I would highly recommend Joan!”

“Our dog, Bella, comes home happy from Bethany's house. She gets some quality time and play with other dogs and with children. She doesn't get that at home with two old people. Thank you, Bethany!”

“Jennifer took such great care of our energetic pup! It was so nice to know Willow was being well loved & cared for. Jennifer sent a great report card each day and Willow was always worn out when we picked her up. Willow can’t wait for her next play date with Jennifer’s pup & attention from her family.”

“We love Emily and Jim! They treat my dog as one of their own and my dog loves going to spend the day with them and their family. I leave my dog with them knowing she is safe, in good hands, having fun, and getting plenty of attention. They are also great at giving updates and taking pics. Emily and Jim are both exceptional and trustworthy. We would recommend them to anyone!!”

“Melody was amazing with our pup! Got plenty of updates and responds quickly! Our situation was a last minute and she was quick to help us and we are grateful and our pup Annie can't wait to go again!”

“Ainsley was great! My little dog seemed completely comfortable at her home and was obviously happy when I picked him up. I definitely would recommend her as a sitter — she’s very kind, a great communicator, and clearly loves animals. Will ask her to watch my dog again. Thanks Ainsley! A+++”

About: My passion for caring for animals from a very young age! My Grandparents and parents were very influential in teaching me to love and care for them and how to read their body language, most specifically, my dad. I started when I was 15 years old when I owned 3 dogs: two German shepherds and a Pitbull. Throughout my life, I also owned 2 Weimaraners, and an incredible Basset Hound. His name was Hank, and recently passed away being 12 years old. I work remotely as a Project Controller, which is perfect as it provides a lot of flexibility. During my free time, I love hanging out with my family and friends, going on walks, going to the beach, and watching the sunset with my spouse. I also like learning something new and challenging, reading a good book, working out, dancing, and cooking! If you trust me with your dog, she/he may be learning a new language! I work remotely, which is perfect as it provides a lot of flexibility as well as allows me spend more time taking care of my dog as well of others. Doing daily walks, play games, giving them some love! I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog if you prefer and make other accommodations as needed.
About: I absolutely love animals - big dogs, little dogs, cats, etc. I will treat your animal with as much love as I do my own! I have a Golden Pyrenees. 🙂 I work from home so I am home all the time so it’s easy to take the dogs out frequently during the day. I work M-F so weekends are free time. My dog is super pet friendly. I do live in an apartment but we do have a dog park. I am also right on a walking trail and I love to go for walks.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of our family! I am a certified foster for multiple local rescue organizations and have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages and needs. I have extensive experience with kittens, puppies, bunnies, ducks, and reptiles; including bottle-feeding and hand-raising many little ones through the rescues we work with. For extra peace of mind, our personal veterinarian—the owner of a local animal hospital—lives right next door, so knowledgeable support is always close by if needed. My own Goldendoodle and I have also completed therapy dog training through Love on a Leash, which has strengthened my understanding of positive, gentle, and attentive animal care. Because I stay home full-time, your pet will receive plenty of supervision, companionship, exercise, and love throughout the day. When your pet is with me, they are treated like family and cared for as if they were my own. I am available 24/7 and on holidays. I am a stay at home mom so your fur babies will have around the clock care and love. I have a large fenced yard and a great neighborhood for leashed walks. We have a certified therapy dog who loves all other pets and a laid back cat who goes with the flow.
“Frankie had so much fun AGAIN! He loves going to Crystals playing with all his friends. She takes such good care of him while he is there we never have to worry about him ❤️❤️”

I even have an added puppy fence layer to ensure even the smallest pups are safe and secure. My neighborhood is excellent for dog walking as well. Chase my 10 lb pom is excellent company and a fun playmate.
About: I am a pet momma who loves animals and help families out when needed as I know how hard it is to find good care for their furbabies while away. I am currently off summers so free time is easy but when school starts again I will fit the pet care in after work or weekends. I make things work. I love animals and take very good care of them. I treat them like they are my own pets. Whatever needs they need i will care for them.
“Olivia and her son were so great and accommodating to a last minute request. We were in town for a wedding and needed someone to watch our dog for about 4 hours and they were easy to coordinate with. Highly recommend!!”

“Ryne was nothing short of amazing with Maizey. I definitely would recommend him for all of your dog needs! He’s attentive to the dog and the human’s needs, and I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received. From our first interaction, he was friendly, professional, and you could tell that he is genuinely passionate about animals. He took the time to get to know my dog’s routine and personality, which made me feel confident leaving my sweet Maizey in his care.”

“My dog Mollie stayed with Donna for doggy day care. Mollie was immediately comfortable around Donna and was sufficiently tired when I took her home. Donna was very welcoming and prompt when it came to responding to my messages. She sent me updates through pictures and gave me a feedback of Mollie's stay. Great experience!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
