About: I've taken care of a dog and cat at home for the past 10 years, I've helped raise my brother's kitten, and cared for my sister's cat with medical needs. “Usually we don't get to see our sitters in action; we're away, and that's why they're there. This time however I was recovering from surgery and needed Sierra to take care of walks etc. that I couldn't do. As always she was reliable, punctual, and flexible. Watching her relate to Jasper and Boo was a revelation though, she has a natural gift for bonding with them and a genuine love for them and what she does. Jasper's eleven, but he was acting more like two when she was playing with him, really put a spring in that old guy's step! Meant a lot to me to see the pets' spirits being lifted as well as mine, helped with my recovery as I wasn't feeling especially great. About: I’ve taken care of pets of all kinds since I was a teen. Friends and family have trusted me with their pets on many occasions and I also enjoy the company myself! I am full time active duty military but I am Available all day and night every weekend. Your fur babies will be given a lot of play time and attention and of course love! I am able to provide care for all different ages, a good variety of breeds I am even able to care for dogs with various health concerns/medical needs. (Blind, allergies, deaf, post surgery, anxiety, etc.) I am very big on positive affirmations and reenforcing good behavior. I love training dogs! I think it can be a lot of fun. (Right now, I’m teaching sign language to both of my dogs. Our oldest is now deaf and has separation anxiety, so we’re working on basic commands.) I work in the mornings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and, Thursdays. Typically, my lessons run from 9-12. I teach swim lessons all year and set my own schedule. I have a fenced in back yard, that is big enough for the dogs to run around and play! We’re always outside during the warmer months. As long as they have a bowl of cold water, my dogs will stay outside until they choose to come in. In my home, there is a basement. It’s not very big, but it is a nice spot to retreat to. It’s a good space to relax in as there is little outside noise that gets in. (Our laundry room is in the basement. If we run the washer or the dryer during the 4th of July, you cant even hear the fireworks going off. This is a plus, for living with dogs).

I am home full time to board or provide doggy day care to your fur babies. I am pretty flexible if you would like to first schedule a meet and greet. I have a fenced backyard which your dogs can play in when they are here. I have an 18 year old son who loves dogs, he also helps when it comes to giving rhe best to any fur baby that stays with us. I was really nervous about leaving my overly emotional English Setter & a 4 month old puppy, but they had an organized approach to meeting each dogs needs. “Tory was more than just amazing. This was our first big trip leaving our puppy behind and she was so understanding and helpful. She sent us pictures of Churro playing, gave us daily updates on how he was doing and even accommodated to a last minute (and very inconvenient) change we had to our plans. After getting locked out of our house on accident she willingly took Churro an extra night no complaints or second thoughts. She even offered to do it without pay (though we would never accept such an offer, especially under those circumstances). We would and will recommend her a thousand times over. Churro had such an amazing time, we have never seen him so happy or comfortable while we were gone, he’s usually a nervous wreck. She is a natural with dogs, and it shows in their demeanor with her. We are so grateful for this great experience.”
