We appreciate Cassie giving him a chance and understanding his barking and jumping, which can be intimidating, are out of fear and not aggression. Our other dog is 13 years old, losing his eyesight and hearing, and has severe arthritis that makes it difficult for him to get around. She had her hands full taking on these two, but she did great! She arrived on time-every time, never cut a visit short, fulfilled all of our requests, left us comprehensive notes, and even added pictures of our boys. It felt like we were leaving our dogs with an old family friend rather than someone we just met! From the photos, it appears our dogs feel the same way - she became fast friends with our anxious pup that has a hard time meeting new people! Weeknights I am not able to host boarding services but can possibly accommodate walks if needed depending on availability. We have one cat at our house who is very dog friendly! Our pets are allowed on our furniture but if yours aren't at home we can make sure they don't do it here. LOTS of dog and cat toys to keep your furry friend entertained!
About: I have a 1.5 yr old Belgian Malinois named Alfred! I have also watched the lovely pets of friends and family, many times who love having me back. I love serving other pet owners and giving them the time off they need from full-time doggy parenting! Never worry about your puppies when they're with me. <3 During the week, I am free to walk or drop in at all hours, 6AM-10PM. Flexible weekends. I take care of my own puppy everyday, of course but he is very independent and can be left alone long enough for me to get the job done :) My puppy loves being outside and spends the most time, if not the whole day there, and he has tons of space to run around. I stay respectful of other people's spaces and routines, if your doggy stops by for a day, there is plenty of space to run around, and they can but don't have to interact with my Belgian.
About: I have had dogs my entire life. I am also a cat owner! I have a miniature dachshund and a domestic shorthair right now, but have cared for dogs that have weighed well over 80 lbs. I am comfortable with any breed of either cat or dog. I have had my pup, and two in the past, since they were able to be separated from their moms (8 weeks). So I am very comfortable with puppies! I’m also comfortable with senior dogs, and special needs dogs as long as you tell me what care they need. Thank you. Can’t wait to meet your pup or kitty!!! I work on base full time. I could do visits in the mornings, or during lunch. Evening visits will just need to be planned so I can accommodate! I have a fenced in yard and a walking trail around my neighborhood. I have a miniature dachshund that loves to meet new dogs. I also have a cat that does fine with other dogs.
About: I have 2 of my own dachshunds and also foster for Nebraska Dachshund Rescue. I have lived with large (Newfoundland) and small dogs providing walks and daily care. I can recognize abnormal excrement and report it to the owner. Each dog has their own personality and needs to be respected for the individual they are. I have a dog with some food intolerances (as I do myself) and understand that one food or treat does not fit all animals. My availability varies depending on my weekly schedule. On days I work I would be available to provide an evening walk for your baby. On my days off I could help out most times if the day I am comfortable walking you pet/pup or coming to you house while you are gone to take care of birds, fish, reptiles, rodents. Whatever the need may be! I am available after 1700 Monday through Friday and anytime on weekends. Availability on holidays will vary, but my calendar will be updated to show such. I will follow whatever requests you have for the care of your pet. I will respect whatever diet/treat schedule you have for them. I will make certain they wear their galoshes & sweater for walks if that is what you request!

She sent us pictures of Churro playing, gave us daily updates on how he was doing and even accommodated to a last minute (and very inconvenient) change we had to our plans. After getting locked out of our house on accident she willingly took Churro an extra night no complaints or second thoughts. She even offered to do it without pay (though we would never accept such an offer, especially under those circumstances). We would and will recommend her a thousand times over. Churro had such an amazing time, we have never seen him so happy or comfortable while we were gone, he’s usually a nervous wreck. She is a natural with dogs, and it shows in their demeanor with her.
