About: Growing up, my grandma always had a dog, and my family has had a number of dogs throughout the years. The dogs that my family has had ranges from small dogs (<20 lbs) to now two bigger dogs (~80 lbs). I am used to dogs of all kinds of temperaments, and senior dogs hold a special place in my heart! I currently am working part-time, so I can fit in pet care around the days that I do not work. In addition, my schedule is very flexible, especially with drop-in visits. I make sure to update my availability regularly, as well! I’m more than happy to go along with your guidelines on house/ pet sitting. I make sure that I read the guidelines very carefully and will contact you if I have any further questions. I live at home with my mom, so pet care in my home is off the table unfortunately.
“I highly recommend Diana and will definitely be using her again. For any fellow dog parents with high-anxiety pups, you know how tough it can be to find the right sitter. My girl was in great hands and stayed in good spirits the entire time I was away. I had complete peace of mind, and I’m so grateful Diana was available to care for her.”

“Haeli is absolutely incredible! Haeli has taken care of our boys on numerous occasions, whether it’s a short weekend getaway or a two-week trip. Haeli has everything under control! Haeli also does a super job keeping us posted at all times!!”

“Marc continues to provide excellent care and a good time for my dogs during their ‘play dates’ with him. They have fun and expend lots of excess energy! I know I can depend on Marc and best of all, that I can trust him with my pets.”

“Lynn was a great sitter with my golden retriever. Lynn was very flexible as i needed to add an additional visit each day. Lynn sent photos and my dog received lots of petting and attention. I will definitely use her again.”

“Liz was dependable and followed all instructions perfectly. She also did a great job with staying in communication throughout her time as our pet sitter and left the pet with a clean and sanitary environment on the last day. We WILL be hiring Liz again! Thanks for everything and well done!”

“I couldn’t be happier with her services ! She treated my pup like family and gave me peace of mind while I was away. I received regular updates, including photos and notes about how my dog was doing, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend to any pet parent looking for trustworthy and loving care!”

“Krissa provided drop-in visits for our cat while we were out of town and was able to administer medication, as well. We are so incredibly impressed with the quality of care she offered, the detail she put into each visit, and the communication she provided to us. It was phenomenal! She checked in at the start of each visit and provided us with details and photos. It was evident that our cat was well cared for, much loved, and quite spoiled while in Krissa’s care. I was unaware that this high level of care existed until we used Krissa. We will definitely use her again next time we go out of town! Thank you!”
“Sophie is our go too when we are out of town. She is great at communicating and flexible. Always keeps the house tidy and follows instructions to a tee! Dependable and prompt! Birdie and Pickles.”

“Laura is wonderful pet sitter who took excellent care of our cat. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our cat! Laura sent us daily photos of our cat, along with updates which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend Laura for any pet sitting needs.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been a part of who I am. I currently have a German Shepherd and a rescue Labradoodle, which has given me experience with dogs that have very different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m comfortable handling high-energy dogs that love long walks and playtime, as well as dogs that may be shy, anxious, or still adjusting to new environments. I understand that every dog is unique, and I always take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is to treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m working full time so I would be available after work hours during the week and in the weekends. Whether it’s taking them for walks, drop in visits or full on boarding I’m available I’m have a fenced backyard and two dogs that love company. There is a small pond in the neighborhood perfect for walks and playtime if you decide to board them here with me.
“Brady was so good with Beau and we will definitely have her back! She snuggled her on the day she got shots and wasn't feeling well! She managed her puppy nipping well by redirecting her with toys! She was so wonderful and we are so pleased we found her!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Boys Town
On our last trip out of town it was necessary for Krissa to come twice a day to take care of our cat Cassie. We really appreciated Krissa being able to arrange her schedule so that she could come in the afternoon and evening. Cassie is very comfortable with Krissa and we appreciate Krissa's continual care and concern.
Liz was dependable and followed all instructions perfectly. She also did a great job with staying in communication throughout her time as our pet sitter and left the pet with a clean and sanitary environment on the last day. We WILL be hiring Liz again! Thanks for everything and well done!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Boys Town. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
