About: Hi, I'm Greg. I am a lifelong dog lover with extensive experience handling dogs of all shapes and sizes. From high-energy Huskies and Golden Retrievers to spirited Boston Terriers and patient giant breeds, I understand that every dog has unique physical and emotional needs. In 2024, I said goodbye to my beloved Newfoundland, Baloo. He left a massive hole in my heart, and caring for your four-legged family members is my favorite way to keep his loving spirit alive. I treat every guest with the same deep devotion, patience, and exceptional care that I gave m I am retired and have flexibility to manage 24/7 house sitting, extended day care, long adventures or a drop in for walks. I'm perfect for high-energy pups needing a lunch-break burnout walk or puppies requiring a mid-day potty relief. I follow your exact feeding, medication, and crating schedules to minimize your dog's anxiety. Your home security is important to me. I keep doors locked, bring in mail, turn on lights, and maintain a lived-in look for your safety. My Cleanliness Guarantee is that I will leave your home exactly as I found it (maybe cleaner), keeping paws wiped and messes completely cleaned. You will receive Real-Time Updates if requested. You will receive photo, video, and text updates during every single visit or overnight stay. I bring my own food and necessities, respecting your privacy and personal boundaries completely.

About: Growing up, my grandma always had a dog, and my family has had a number of dogs throughout the years. The dogs that my family has had ranges from small dogs (<20 lbs) to now two bigger dogs (~80 lbs). I am used to dogs of all kinds of temperaments, and senior dogs hold a special place in my heart! I currently am working part-time, so I can fit in pet care around the days that I do not work. In addition, my schedule is very flexible, especially with drop-in visits. I make sure to update my availability regularly, as well! I’m more than happy to go along with your guidelines on house/ pet sitting. I make sure that I read the guidelines very carefully and will contact you if I have any further questions. I live at home with my mom, so pet care in my home is off the table unfortunately.
“Carolyn went above and beyond for Shelby. In every photo, Shelby was smiling and very happy. This was the first time I used Rover and the experience was so much better than a dog daycare. I've found a great way to make sure Shelby is properly taken care of and I hope Carolyn will be available next time I go out of town!”

“Brady was very professional and responsive to messages. From the moment she came in the door the first time, she started connecting with our pup and putting him at ease. On her first visit without us he was a bit unsure of a new person in the home, but she immediately knew how to win him over with treats and affection and the pictures indicate he would be very excited to see her again!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, from tiny yorkies to large Rottweilers. I truly believe every pet deserves love, patience, and individualized care. Whether they are a playful pup, a senior dog, or a curious cat! I currently own two cats, Axel and Maeve who have taught me the importance of understanding each pet's unique and individual needs. I also grew up raising my family dog, Meka who is now 10. She is a sassy American Bulldog. I am an active and adventurous person who would love to provide your pet with lots of love and adventure-whether I take them potty in your backyard, cuddle with them on the couch, or take your pet for a long walk to get some energy out. I have been pet sitting for about the last 6 years, I am currently 22 and working full time while knocking out school part time. I will be able to provide the most help on weekends! I currently work full-time Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Fridays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. I am able to provide pet care and walks Friday evenings through Sunday evenings and will make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise and love during our time together. I specialize in ear scratches! Along with making sure your pet feels comfortable and safe, I want you as their owner to feel safe and that I am dependable, communicative and flexible. I currently live in a cozy studio apartment, so I prefer caring for pets in the comfort of their own home where they can stay in their familiar routine. I always follow the owner's instructions carefully, including the feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special care your pet may need. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved and comfortable while you are away or even while I am just taking them for a stroll! I love to provide photo updates throughout my time with the pet I am caring for as well- I know I always love to see pictures of my fur babies!
“I highly recommend Diana and will definitely be using her again. For any fellow dog parents with high-anxiety pups, you know how tough it can be to find the right sitter. My girl was in great hands and stayed in good spirits the entire time I was away. I had complete peace of mind, and I’m so grateful Diana was available to care for her.”

“This is the first time I’ve ever used a pet sitter outside of my family. Linda put my mind at ease asking important questions and having great communication with me while I was gone. I have an older male dog who I felt could be a challenge but, she handled him with no problem. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask for Linda’s help again!”

“Sophie is the best! She does drop in visits with my dog for me a couple of times a week and is so good with her! She is very reliable and is so nice and such a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend her for any of your needs! We love Sophie!!!”

“Laura was so good with my kitties. She sent pictures and they loved her, which is a feat because one is extremely shy. The fact that Laura could get a picture of Edith says it all. I highly recommend Laura.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Boys Town
On our last trip out of town it was necessary for Krissa to come twice a day to take care of our cat Cassie. We really appreciated Krissa being able to arrange her schedule so that she could come in the afternoon and evening. Cassie is very comfortable with Krissa and we appreciate Krissa's continual care and concern.
Liz was dependable and followed all instructions perfectly. She also did a great job with staying in communication throughout her time as our pet sitter and left the pet with a clean and sanitary environment on the last day. We WILL be hiring Liz again! Thanks for everything and well done!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
