“Kate is great. She showed up each day as scheduled and took care of my kitty cat's needs. I don't get to go out of town often but when I do I feel at ease knowing people like Kate are keeping things comfortable for my pet.”

“Callie is such a great person to work with for me, and also such a good animal person, for my cat. My Gretel is always so happy to see Callie, and snuggle, and get all the lovin! Highly recommend Callie!”

“Raina was fantastic! She took very good care of my special needs dog, was communicative and attentive, which is very important for me. I’d be very confident to go out of town and have Raina petsit for me again.”

“Naomi was so sweet with my Yoda and took such amazing care of him. He was very happy and well-cared for when I returned from my travels. She also made sure my kitties were where they were supposed to be and gave them some love a well! I will definitely be reaching out to her in the future!”

About: I've taken care of pets for over a decade in a professional and personal setting. If your pet has any special needs don't hesitate to let me know so I can provide proper medications or extra care when they need it! I currently work full time in an office setting. My schedule is the same Monday - Friday. However, I get plenty of breaks and a lunch so I can check on your babies and mine frequently throughout the day. Although crating is a beautiful practice to keep pets safe when not home, I love to allow the pets freedom to roam while I am there to monitor, with plenty of toys or puzzles! Enrichment is a great way to keep your dogs from being bored/anxious and destroying items you'd like to keep off limits.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 15 years! I’ve grown up with pets my entire life and have been pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors since I was in 4th grade. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats and absolutely love them both! I also spent 3 years volunteering with a bully breed rescue, where I gained experience caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m currently attending graduate school in Medical Physics and enjoy spending my free time with animals. Whether your pup needs a fun walk or some extra exercise, or your cat needs some companionship and care while you’re away, I’m happy to give your pets the attention and love they deserve. I’m comfortable with both small and large dogs and will always treat your pets like they’re my own. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends! 🐾 I currently work overnight at a hotel and attend graduate school, which gives me a unique schedule with plenty of daytime availability for pet care! I carefully plan my schedule around classes and work so that I can give each pet the attention they deserve. I’ll always be upfront about my availability and only accept bookings I know I can give my full attention to. 🐶🐱 Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities. When caring for pets in their home, I treat their space with the same care and respect I would my own. I follow your instructions closely, maintain your pet’s normal routines as much as possible, and make sure doors, gates, and other areas are secure. I’m mindful of keeping their environment clean and comfortable, and I’ll always leave your home just as I found it. Most importantly, I want your pets to feel safe and relaxed in their own space while you’re away. 🐾
“Erica was wonderful with my two cats! From our first meet and greet, just getting to know her and seeing her attention to detail immediately reassured me about leaving my cats in her care. We got lots of cute photos and updates while we were gone, and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave my cats in her care in the future. Thanks Erica!”

“My schedule is hectic at times and knowing that my furry best friends are being so well taken care of is priceless. Jordan’s attention to detail and caring demeanor make him a fantastic pet sitter and we’re so glad to have found him!”

About: With 11 years of hands-on experience caring for both my own pets and others’, I specialize in cats and dogs — I know how to read their body language, keep them comfortable, and stick to their routines. Since I work from home, your pet gets consistent attention throughout the day, not just quick check-ins. And because I don’t have other pets in my home, your pet gets my full, undivided attention — no competing for space, food, or affection with a resident animal. Pet care fits naturally into my everyday life, not just around it. My work is flexible, so I’m either home or able to come back frequently throughout the day — your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches. I’m available all seven days of the week, so there’s no gap in coverage between weekdays and weekends. Boarding • Your pet stays in my home with no other pets competing for attention. I keep feeding and routines on schedule, and since I work from home, someone’s around for most of the day. Drop-ins • I follow whatever routine you’ve set — feeding, medication, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, and playtime — with a photo update after each visit. Walks • One walk a day, paced to your pet’s comfort level, on-leash and supervised the whole time. I pay close attention to their cues, especially with cats and small-to-medium dogs, where I have the most hands-on experience. *Every visit ends with a photo, so you always know your pet is happy and cared for.

“Fantastic, seamless petsitting. Jack and Kate also helped us get packages in the house while we were out of town as well as took excellent care of our cat Sophie. We love these pet sitters!”
“Chelsea was great! She saved us when we needed someone last minute, even making time for a meet & greet ahead of time. She was a great communicator and made us feel at ease with our first Rover booking for our pup.”

“Morgan is wonderful. I felt more calm knowing my kitties were being looked over while I was out of town. Great communication and I always appreciated the daily check ins on my kitties. Will definitely have Morgan watch my kitties in the future!”

“If you're looking for someone who is going to love your pups just as much as you do (if not more!), then Ben is your guy! And on top of that, he does a phenomenal job of training and working with them as well!”

“Brooks was able to bond with our dogs who are "iffy" about strangers. He was very attentive to their needs and was a great communicator during our time away. Not to mention that he is a 5⭐ pet photographer! We are already rebooking him for our next trip!”

“First time I used Rover.com & so glad my first time using, app was having Brittney booked. She was very attentive to both dogs, including myself; by letting me know when she was there along with what & how both dogs are doing. Thank you again Brittney!!!”

“Alison is absolutely wonderful!! She helped us raise our puppy, work on training with her, took notice to medical concerns, and SO MUCH MORE! She was primarily hired for our puppy but gave our older dog just as much love and attention. We are so sad she moved (but so happy for her future!) We would have continued hiring her each week if she were still local.”

Callie is great! She lets my cat, Gretel, sit on her lap and knead on her for most of the time she is here. It's Gretel's favorite thing, so I am grateful she let's Gretel be who she is, even tho it can get to be annoying sometimes! So glad I found Callie on Rover!

Kate is an absolute saint. When she started, my cat Fable would not come out for anyone but me. I left for a nine day trip. Within a couple days she had him playing and getting all of the affection. I will definitely book her again if she is available, and anyone who books her will be very happy with the attention she gives their pets. I am very grateful that she agreed to watch Fable!

Amaya did an amazing job watching my kitties. She offered to schedule a meet and greet which made us feel secure leaving our cats for a few days. She kept us updated on them and took some great pictures. I will definitely be reaching out to her again to watch the kitties!!:)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
