**FYI: THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT I AM MOVING IN SEPTEMBER 2026 #VERYSAD** My name is Margaret, and I’m a dedicated sitter with a passion for providing the best care for your purrfect pet. As a cat owner myself, with two wonderful cats at home, I understand how important it is to find someone who will treat your cats with the same love and attention they receive from you. Whether they’re playful kittens or calm seniors, I’m here to make sure your cats are comfortable, happy, and well taken care of while you’re away. I can’t wait to potentially meet your feline family members and give them all the care they deserve! A little background on my experience with pets: I’ve had the joy of growing up with animals my whole life. My childhood was spent alongside Duffy, a Kerry Blue Terrier who passed away when I was 15. Duffy and I were practically the same age, growing up together and forming a deep bond. In 2019, my parents welcomed Auggie, a spirited coonhound rescued near a reservation, who has kept our family entertained and active ever since. I love visiting home and hanging out with Auggie. During college, I shared my space with my roommate’s cat, Gifford, who I helped raise for two years. I actually didn’t even like cats before we welcomed Gifford in. Now, I have two wonderful cats of my own: Norman, a lively one-year-old orange tabby, and Miso, my sweet two-to-three-year-old black and white cat. One day I would love to adopt a dog as well, but for now my two cats bring me a ton of joy. These experiences have made me passionate about caring for pets, and I’d love to bring that same dedication to your furry family members!

Margaret was great! I had to leave short notice and she first came out to meet my cat (and chickens) and go over everything. She was always prompt with replies too. I had an emergency the night before I was leaving due to the freezing cold and she even made an extra trip out to help when I was away. Even though her focus was on the cat she still assisted with my chickens and made me feel comfortable about them with the weather being so brutal. I really appreciated the extra effort she put in and I feel that she really helped me out. I would definitely recommend her to anybody.

I am absolutely delighted with Margaret's visits to look after my kitty Allie! Since Allie is new in our house and is still a bit shy, I was afraid that she would hide every time that Margaret visited. I was so wrong! Margaret persuaded Allie to approach, get some petting and even play a bit. Margaret is a cat whisperer! :-) I was so happy to see that Allie has come out of her shell even more while Margaret was visiting. Margaret was super-organized with all the details of her visits, and I was so impressed with how she handled everything. In our initial meeting, she came prepared with a list of questions so she would be sure to learn everything she needed to know, and she took notes as we talked. She did a fantastic job of following all of my instructions, and even going beyond what I had asked. She cleaned all of the dishes and utensils, and rinsed out the cat food cans. Everything was super-tidy when we returned. Margaret even left a nice note for me, which I really appreciated. I would not hesitate to ask Margaret to look after my kitty again! Schedule
I have a full-time job working in commercial recreation sales. I work until 5:30PM M-F. I can drop in before work, during lunch, of after.
