About: My parents have been breeding dogs for years now. As a child of the household, it was my responsibility to feed, walk, and do any other necessary tasks to care for the 15 dogs my parents own when it was my turn to do so. I also had one dog specifically of my own, which I have owned and cared for a total of seven years. I am now living independently, ready to care for others. I currently work Mondays through Fridays from around 8:00am to 5:00pm in Omaha, Nebraska. I am available any other day, and I am flexible. I live in Omaha, NE, but I can drive wherever necessary. I live in Dundee. It's a mostly quiet and green area. I see other owners and their pets quite often here, but it is easy to avoid them while still spending a good amount of time outside if your little one is a bit more on the anti-social side. I am very respectful and watchful of others' pets as well as any under my wing.
About: I grew up around all types of pets, from dogs to birds to lizards to cats. For as long as I've known, I've fed bearded dragons crickets and ran alongside happy pups. I absolutely love animals, and am happy and willing to work within any routines and structures pre-set for your pets. As a recent college graduate, my time is very flexible - I'm available for whenever you need me. I'm dedicated to clear and open communication about my time. Providing you and your pet with the least stressful pet care experience possible is my goal. I'd love to meet your pet, learn their routines, quirks, and learn anything that's required for their care and your peace of mind.
About: I have my own little fury friend which I walk, take to the restroom, handle her food and water daily needs for the past 6 years. I have house/pet sat for over 18 owners, and sat more than 25 dogs, and 10 cats. I like to leave things as I found them, or better if I can. Also, great with cats, fish, and used to own 2 turtles as well and wouldn’t mind watching your turtles or any additional pets, just shoot me a message and see! I work from 8am-5pm, M-F, I have a few hobbies but other than that I’m sitting! If your pet is able to be let out every 5 hours then our schedules should align perfectly. PLEASE NOTE: If your pet needs to be let out before 6:00am I will not be able to provide services for you. I am currently only available to house/ dog sit at your location because I stay with my mom, and although we do have our own dog, that’s all she can handle at a time 🤗
About: I have very energetic pups who love to run and play outside I also have a senior dog who takes medicine every morning after potty I am a stay at home wife with plenty of time on her hands so I am available pretty often and would love to help. “Ellie has been helping us out by walking our dog, Wally, a few days a week. She is reliable and sends me a picture of Wally on his walks every time! Wally is a high energy dog and he is visibly calmer on days he gets to walk with Ellie! We can tell that he loves his walks with her and can tell that she treats him with love and kindness! He now knows her name and gets excited every morning when I tell him that Ellie is coming to see him later! We’re grateful to have a trustworthy person to spend time with him when we’re busy working. We will continue to hire Ellie as often as we can! Thank you Ellie!”

About: My style is playful, caring, and conscientious :) In addition to growing up with two silly sweet pugs and two cozy cuddly cats, I've spent the last two years as a nanny and pet sitter for a family with two fantastic dogs. They are part of the family and have become part of mine! I'm looking to find some more fur babies to give some love to which would also help me save up for grad school. Hoping to snuggle and care for some sweet kitties this summer and/or provide play breaks and walks for your pups! My schedule is widely flexible and I am eager to make myself available to your pets' needs and home! Your comfort is my highest priority. I cannot care for animals in my home, but I will treat yours with the utmost respect and care if I were to stay with your furry friends there. I think you'll find I am an incredibly dependable, neat, respectful, and caring individual. If you'd like to shoot a text or make a call to people I've worked for in the past, I'd be happy to provide phone numbers and references!

About: My family owned a dog when I was in middle school for about a year and a half, but due to busy schedules at the time we had to give him up. My brother had a dog for a little over five years, and I enjoyed helping him take care of her while I was living with my parents, and I went to their house to see her and help take care of her when needed before she passed away! I am different from other sitters because I will spend as much time as I possibly can with your pet! I know that with my brother’s dog, Emma, I wanted to be home with her as much as I can when I was living with my parents so she could be out of her kennel as often as possible. I will also make sure that everything you require of me will be completed in the most appropriate manner possible. I will always make sure that your pet is safe! I will always have an eye on your pet when they go to the bathroom outside, and will talk with you to get as many details as possible to make sure everything goes well while watching your pet! I am a teacher full time, so I would want to make sure that both you and your pet are okay with me being at my full time job during the day when I am house sitting. I am available to do house sitting all seven days of the week. I am available to do drop-in visits and dog walks only on the weekends (I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays to do these) due to working as a teacher, however if you ever need a drop in or dog walk in the evening during the week please feel free to send me a request for it! I also regularly change my calendar so I am usually am available to do drop-in visits and dog walks on weekdays that I am out of school! I will make sure that your pet is my priority while under my care! I will take great care of your home, no matter which service you request! I will be very respectful of everything in your home, and I make sure I am around to take care of your pet(s) as often as possible! About: I I have experience pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, caring for dogs and cats of different breeds and temperaments. My responsibilities have included daily walks, feeding, cleaning litter boxes, giving medications, and providing companionship. I understand how important routine and reassurance are when owners are away. I currently work from home. So my schedule is pretty flexible! Plenty of times to go on walks and playtime! With advanced notice I am very accommodating to meet your needs. I provide loving, reliable care whether pets stay in my home or I care for them in theirs. My top priorities are safety, trust, and maintaining a calm, comfortable environment. I always follow each pet’s routine closely — including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions — to help them feel secure and stress-free.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I genuinely love caring for dogs of all personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I previously volunteered at the animal shelter in Big Rapids, where I gained hands on experience walking dogs with different temperaments and caring for their daily needs. That experience taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to help dogs feel comfortable and safe in new environments. I also have my own 6-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd who is truly my best friend, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I treat every dog with the same love, care, and attention I would want for my own. What sets me apart is that I’m dependable, calm, and genuinely passionate about making pets feel happy, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I’m currently home in Michigan for the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule and open availability throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats in their own home so they can stay in a familiar and stress-free environment. Whether your pet needs potty breaks throughout the day, feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company, I’m happy to provide attentive and loving care. I understand how important routines are for pets, and I always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm, comfortable environment in every pet care situation. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to reduce stress and keep things familiar. I make sure pets are always supervised during visits, doors and gates are securely handled, and I pay close attention to feeding instructions, medication schedules, and any specific care guidelines provided by the owner. I also respect each home by keeping it clean, organized, and exactly as I found it. For dogs, I ensure safe leash handling during walks, avoid unsafe interactions with unfamiliar animals, and always stay attentive to their behavior and needs. For cats, I create a calm environment by respecting their space and letting them come to me on their terms, while still providing affection, play, and care when they’re comfortable. My goal is to build trust with both pets and owners by being reliable, detail-oriented, and attentive so you can feel confident your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and have had both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality. I love being an “auntie” to friends’ and neighbors’ pets, whether that means going for walks, playing fetch, giving belly rubs, or simply keeping them company while their families are away. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry family members because I’ve relied on kind pet sitters to love on my own pets, too. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, giving you peace of mind knowing they’re being cared for like they’re part of my own family. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I also travel intermittently for work, but when I’m home, I love starting and ending my day with morning, afternoon, and evening walks—especially with a four-legged friend by my side! I’m a parent with my kids on a week-on, week-off schedule (Friday to Friday), so during my kid-free weeks, I have even more flexibility for pet sitting, drop-in visits, walks, and overnight care. During the weeks my kids are with me, they’re kind, respectful animal lovers who have grown up with dogs and cats and enjoy helping give pets extra love and attention. I’m also excited to share that I’m currently having a fenced backyard installed, creating an even safer and more fun space for dogs to run, play, and explore. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I know how important it is to have someone you trust with your furry family members, and I’d love the opportunity to provide them with a safe, loving, and happy home away from home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m happy to crate your dog if that’s part of their normal routine or if you prefer. I also have gates installed to safely separate areas of my home, including access to the deck and carpeted rooms, so I can easily accommodate different pets’ needs and personalities. I’m currently having a fenced backyard installed, which will soon provide an even larger secure space for dogs to run and play. Whether your pet needs extra structure, freedom to play, or somewhere quiet to relax, I’m flexible and happy to tailor their care to the routine that helps them feel most comfortable and at home.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, which has given me hands-on experience caring for pets of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. What sets me apart is my natural comfort and understanding of animals—I’m attentive to their behavior, patient with their needs, and focused on making them feel safe and at ease while you’re away. I have experience with both energetic puppies and older pets who need a gentler approach. Whether it’s helping reinforce basic training for young dogs, sticking to routines, or providing calm, attentive care for seniors, I adjust my approach to fit each pet. I’m also comfortable managing multiple pets and following specific care instructions closely. Above all, I treat every pet like they’re my own—with reliability, compassion, and plenty of attention. I am currently working part time, so my availability is flexible for walks and drop-in visits! I do have my own furry friend, so I am unavailable for extended visits and overnight care. I will treat your fur baby like they are my own - frequent walks, play time, and all the snuggles! Safety is a must for me, so I promise your dog and home will always be safe in my care.

“Ebone took great care of Justine and she enjoyed her walks. She was on time and prompt keeping our schedule. Ebone is very pleasant and professional. I will be requesting her in the future.”

About: I think what sets me apart from other pet sitters is that I am a very active and attentive person. I love spending quality time and really enjoy keeping myself busy. I have had years of watching family friends pets and feel very confident taking care of animals, as I also have one of my own. I am currently working full time 9-6PM, but come this fall I am moving and completely starting over! I am looking to just have some fun and live life to the fullest! My routine for the first few months in my new place will be very loose scheduled and laid back. I am a very tidy and clean person. I often find myself leaving a place better than I found it! To some that may be annoying, but to a pet owner, I think they would always love a little extra help around the house and knowing they would be coming back to a nice clean place. I also am a very empathetic person, and would want to treat any pet, the way I treat my own.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
