About: I grew up around all types of pets, from dogs to birds to lizards to cats. For as long as I've known, I've fed bearded dragons crickets and ran alongside happy pups. I absolutely love animals, and am happy and willing to work within any routines and structures pre-set for your pets. As a recent college graduate, my time is very flexible - I'm available for whenever you need me. I'm dedicated to clear and open communication about my time. Providing you and your pet with the least stressful pet care experience possible is my goal. I'd love to meet your pet, learn their routines, quirks, and learn anything that's required for their care and your peace of mind.
About: I have very energetic pups who love to run and play outside I also have a senior dog who takes medicine every morning after potty I am a stay at home wife with plenty of time on her hands so I am available pretty often and would love to help. I love to spoil the animals and will even bring them toys and treats. I have a fenced in yard so I'm good at making sure gates are closed and there are no holes around the bottom for eacape

“We recently moved to Omaha and have had some trouble finding a new walker for our pup. Jack was able to step in and take our pup on a last minute walk this week and overall it was a great experience. He was very communicative and professional and sent great pictures and updates. Our dog is sometimes standoffish with new people, but Jack was great with him. We have already rebooked and will be using Jack and Kate’s services regularly from now on. Highly recommend!”

“I’ve hired Victoria a handful of time over the last couple months for dog walking, and she’s been great! She’s extremely flexible to my changing, military schedule, and always gives Nala extra love. She is very communicative and I look forward to the photos she sends me! Will continue to book with Victoria!”

“Ellie has been helping us out by walking our dog, Wally, a few days a week. She is reliable and sends me a picture of Wally on his walks every time! Wally is a high energy dog and he is visibly calmer on days he gets to walk with Ellie! We can tell that he loves his walks with her and can tell that she treats him with love and kindness! He now knows her name and gets excited every morning when I tell him that Ellie is coming to see him later! We’re grateful to have a trustworthy person to spend time with him when we’re busy working. We will continue to hire Ellie as often as we can! Thank you Ellie!”

I would love to spend my free time caring for animals and making families feel more secure with who is treating their pets! I’m fairly flexible with scheduling. I am very easy going but can also be stern when needed. I would be very excited to let animals be themselves in their home and ensure that they are safe but also still enjoying their time with me!

About: I was the kid in elementary school that knew way too many facts about animals 😆 That love and curiosity to learn and care for animals has always been a passion for me! I started my animal care taker journey in 2014, fostering kittens for the Nebraska Humane Society. Then, I started pet sitting in 2019 and went to school to be a Certified Veterinary Assistant, allowing me to service pets with medical concerns or special needs. This also taught me a lot about dog and cat behavior. I quickly became the cat whisperer and was the nurse who could trim nails on the “aggressive” or fearful dogs. If you have a pet that is more shy towards meeting new people or is described as “aggressive,” I take things slow and always suggest having multiple meet and greets. It’s important that your pet feels safe with me, and I’m happy to be that space for them while you are away! ❤️ My experience/specialties: - elderly dogs and cats (I don’t shy away from changing diapers or helping pets get around the house/yard) - Fearful dogs and cats (I take my time and put their comfortability first) - Disabled/Medical Concerns ( I am able to pill, oral liquids and do injections) - Basic Training (sit, stay, come, leave it, lay down, kennel training, fix pulling on the leash, and place) - Grooming (basic bath, blow dry and brush, also desheds) - Nail trims - Nail caps (soft paws) - Adventure Days (take your dog/cat to Hitchcock for a long hike) I work as a house keeper part time, allowing me to let pets out every 4 hours! If it’s an overnight booking, I am free to be there 18-20 hours a day, all day on the weekends, giving your pets lots of TLC and enrichment! Walks daily and brain games geared for each individual pet! I send photos, videos and updates at least 4x a day! 😻 I always leave your house, and your pets space, in tip top shape! 😉 I hope to meet you and your fur baby soon! 🤗 I’m available to let your pets out every 4-8 hours during the week (and the weekend!) and am happy to stay overnight with your pet too! I love sending you photos/videos of them daily to reassure that they are doing well and keep you up to date on their cuteness and accomplishments of the day! Following care instructions and keeping your place clean and neat 😊
About: I have cared for animals my whole life. Ive worked with many different breeds and behaviors. Caring for animals is a passion of mine I love each and everyone! I work a part time job and the rest of my days are spent at home with my daughter! We would love to spend time caring or going on walks with your animals! I am available for stay overs, drop ins and walks! I have a large fenced in yard I also have a large outdoor covered kennel with a dog house inside. And an indoor kennel as well if needed. My dog Bear is fed 2x daily he also has a nice comfy dog bed or the couch! He prefers car rides but we do go on walks a few times a week!!
About: I have 4 years of pet experience and my precious job was at a pet resort where taking care of dogs and cats was my main job! Walking, feeding, and playing with them is something I do, and I absolutely love it! Along with working at a pet resort, I also have volunteer experience at animal shelters! I’m also CPR certified, a certified trainer, and am well versed with medications. Pet care is something I do on the daily! I have a furry friend myself, and my former job was at a doggy daycare/boarding facility. I live for working in the animal industry! Unfortunately I can not take care of animals in home due to the fact of having my pup at home. If it’s ever needed I’m very good with helping animals feel comfortable!

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Weston. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Weston.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
