About: I grew up around all types of pets, from dogs to birds to lizards to cats. For as long as I've known, I've fed bearded dragons crickets and ran alongside happy pups. I absolutely love animals, and am happy and willing to work within any routines and structures pre-set for your pets. As a recent college graduate, my time is very flexible - I'm available for whenever you need me. I'm dedicated to clear and open communication about my time. Providing you and your pet with the least stressful pet care experience possible is my goal. I'd love to meet your pet, learn their routines, quirks, and learn anything that's required for their care and your peace of mind.

About: I have one year experience working at a boarding and daycare facility! I also have past volunteer experience at my local Humane Society where I provided treats and blankets for the dogs. I grew up with my 12 and 7 year old labs and they are my best friends. I love getting to know new animals and making them feel comfortable with someone other than their owner! I would love to spend my free time caring for animals and making families feel more secure with who is treating their pets! I’m fairly flexible with scheduling. I am very easy going but can also be stern when needed. I would be very excited to let animals be themselves in their home and ensure that they are safe but also still enjoying their time with me!

About: I have taken care of several breeds of dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them, and do not remember a time I haven’t had at least one. I am always the go to person for friends and family when they go out of town. My flexible part-time schedule gives me extra time to shower your fur baby with love, playtime, cuddles, and attentive care. Morning or night I will make sure they get the love and attention they deserve. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment for every pet in my care. I have a securely fenced yard for supervised play and two friendly dogs for socialization when appropriate. I’m happy to crate your dog if requested, follow their normal routine, and provide plenty of exercise, cuddles, and one-on-one attention to help them feel right at home.

Ellie has been helping us out by walking our dog, Wally, a few days a week. She is reliable and sends me a picture of Wally on his walks every time! Wally is a high energy dog and he is visibly calmer on days he gets to walk with Ellie! We can tell that he loves his walks with her and can tell that she treats him with love and kindness! He now knows her name and gets excited every morning when I tell him that Ellie is coming to see him later! We’re grateful to have a trustworthy person to spend time with him when we’re busy working. We will continue to hire Ellie as often as we can! Thank you Ellie!

About: My name is Cheyenne, I am 28 years old. I have been around dogs my whole life as family pets. I have 2 cats of my own. I have been on Rover since 2018 so I have 6 years of experience with dog sitting including house sitting, dog walks, feeding and potty schedules, and keeping pups entertained and taken care of while their owners are away from home. I have experience with pups who struggle with anxiety from being away from their owners and am aware it can be as hard for them as it is for you and I will always be sure to send you photos or videos of your animals while you are away, I know how much you can miss them when you are at work or out of town. I always make sure to treat your home as my own and make sure it's cleaner than it was when you left it! My availability is open to anytime depending on bookings that are already set! I prefer to schedule a meet and greet before booking just to make sure it's a right fit for everyone 😊 I have experience with animals who get anxious when their owners are away, I have experience with oral medications and also strict feeding and potty schedules. I also have experience with animals who have disabilities.

About: Fellow animal lover, I will love your fur baby as my own. In my family, our pets have always been most important and very loved! (Some may say spoiled.) I have three sweet pups myself and my husband won't allow me to get another one at this time so it was between fostering or part time pet sitting. (Maybe the cuteness of your pet will change his mind:) My husband grew up with 9 Dogs of all different breeds and my family always had at least 2 dogs and 1 cat. My one lab requires daily allergy medicine so if there are any special instructions on diet or medication it is no problem at all. My dogs get along very well with other animals but under request am happy to keep separate. I am pretty flexible with hours and days just ask:) I understand how important finding an amazing pet sitter that you can trust is and I'm open to meeting or bringing you to my home before booking :) Feel free to ask any questions! Kindly, Allison I’m currently in school studying pre-med and I am doing that from home currently minus a few errands and one in person class so you’re due babies won’t be alone! I have 3 friendly pups and a fenced in yard. We do take our smallest out on a leash due to her being so tiny but the boys love to run and they are never left alone outside. :)

Whether you need boarding, drop-ins, walks, or house sitting, I’m here to help. I’m very flexible and quick to respond — feel free to message me with any questions! Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Treynor. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

  • 97% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
