About: I am a new dog owner, but I used to nanny for a family with a new puppy and became very familiar with animal care. I have always owned pets (cats) and always loved/wanted a dog and I am interested in helping others give their dogs the best life possible! I am working full time currently but leaving my job as I am moving out of the country in the last week of September for a working abroad opportunity and was wanting to do this until then. If the timeline and schedule works out for you I think it’d be a perfect fit. If I am not working I will be engaged at home with my dog and the others to make sure they have a great day I wake up and take my dog out for a 30 minute walk in the morning. Then we come home and it’s time for breakfast and meds (if needed). I brush my dog after the afternoon walk and give plenty of treats and reward positive behavior

“Kelsey was very easy to communicate with as we had a few date changes and she happily accommodated. My dogs felt at home from the beginning in her house. I’m fairly positive they got more cuddles there than they do at home. She was always updating me on the pups with pictures and just how much she adored them. I’ve only lived in Elkhorn since late October. I could let the two dogs outside upstairs but the almost 3 year old lab refused to go up the stairs outside. So I had to walk downstairs to the walk-out basement to get her in. Well, Kelsey got her to go up her outside balcony, while it may have been backwards for a few times. I also have experience using various no-pull harnesses and gentle leader head collars for larger dogs. I have no qualms about taking care of "controversial" breeds such as Rottweilers, Dobermans, or Pit Bulls. I'm available for morning, evening, and weekend check-ins. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12. I take them for walks give them a bath I’ll teach them new commands and my favorite of all is cuddling on the couch watching a movie. I currently work full time Monday to Friday. I do work from home. Some days I do go in office. I am off weekends. My schedule is pretty flexible. I have two children. They love dog's and get along with them great. Dog's will not be left alone for more than 3-4 hours at a time. My pick up and drop off hours are between 7am-8pm, if drop off or pick up times need to be before or after these times I ask that you please send the request for the day before/after. I have a German Wirehaired Pointer (we think!) mix, Loki, who is well socialized and LOVES to play. I've owned and cared for dogs the last 22 years. I also work for myself and mostly from home, so I'm able to adjust my schedule to accommodate most of your dog's needs. I'm a laid back owner who treats dogs as a part of the family. There are no house restrictions in rooms of the house or with furniture except for a child's bedroom. I will work to accommodate your dog's typical schedule and rules. I have an experienced dog trainer in the family should I ever need to call upon them with an issue. Your dog and Loki will be separated while we are out of the home to prevent any playful accidents. I'm used to managing medications and post-surgical medical precautions with my own dog, so if you have someone a little more complex it shouldn't be a problem. Loki is slowing down in his older age, but is still tolerant around playful pups (and plays in short bursts when he can). He and my preschooler have been a dog sitting with me all his life, so Loki's a great ambassador dog and my child is a loving helper with great dog manners. Please contact us as early as possible to make schedule a meet-and-greet! I work from home so can accommodate most pet schedules. Loki is here half the week, so your dog will be the only pet in the home at some times. Guest dogs have access to most of the house, allowed on furniture and are carefully watched in the back yard. We treat guest dogs as part of the family!

About: Furbabies have always been a part of my family and I'd love to help take care of yours! I've been caring for animals as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I was determined to become a veterinarian and attended summer community college courses in animal care, collaborating with local clinics. Life plans changed since then, but being passionate about animals will never change. Personally, I've cared for large and small dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, geckos, turtles, and fish. One of my cats even lived to be 20 years old! Their health and happiness is of the highest priority for me and my family. I've also been trusted to take care of the furbabies of friends and family, including dogs with daily medications and house-sitting with an elderly cat. I have experience with obedience training for dogs and giving medication to all sorts of four-legged friends. I currently work part time as an ESL teacher for MCC. My schedule takes me out of the house for 2-3 hours Monday-Thursday mornings but I’m otherwise available to provide potty breaks & enrichment as needed. We recently fenced in a joint yard between my and my neighbor's house so there's a huge yard for playtime. My dog, Obi, LOVES to play with dogs of all ages & sizes. His girlfriend, an adorable shepherd mix, lives next door and sometimes comes out to play too. Obi is super excited for the opportunity to meet new friends! We also have a park within walking distance of our house that has a fully enclosed baseball field that is used by the community for extra exercise. If your pup is full of energy, my husband likes to take Obi for runs or bike rides through the park when he gets home from his job as a high school teacher. If you furbaby is a bit shy, the downstairs separated from the upstairs by a gate passable by cats but not by dogs. The guest room is also available for those who like their privacy. As stated above, furbabies are family in my house so they are allowed up onto the couches & beds for optimum comfort. However, if you prefer your furbabies don't get onto furniture, we'll make sure they follow the rules you've set.

About: I adopted my first dog 20 years ago, and I adopted my first cat 4 years ago! I was a volunteer, Adoption Coordinator, and foster Mom for Chain of Hope rescue in Kansas City for 8 years. My German Shep Harper (RIP) was a Therapy Dog for 12 years. I have been in Omaha for 10 years, and I have taken care of countless friends' pets (for free!) In this economy, I need some extra cash -- but that's the secondary goal. The first goal is to pet more dogs and cats! I work 9AM-5PM Mon-Fri, and 9AM-8PM Sat and Sun. I can drop-in visit or walk pets before work, (over the lunch hour during weekdays only), and after work! I work from 8am-5pm, M-F, I have a few hobbies but other than that I’m sitting! If your pet is able to be let out every 5 hours then our schedules should align perfectly. PLEASE NOTE: If your pet needs to be let out before 6:00am I will not be able to provide services for you. I am currently only available to house/ dog sit at your location because I stay with my mom, and although we do have our own dog, that’s all she can handle at a time 🤗

About: I am a new dog owner, but I used to nanny for a family with a new puppy and became very familiar with animal care. I have always owned pets (cats) and always loved/wanted a dog and I am interested in helping others give their dogs the best life possible! I am working full time currently but leaving my job as I am moving out of the country in the last week of September for a working abroad opportunity and was wanting to do this until then. If the timeline and schedule works out for you I think it’d be a perfect fit. If I am not working I will be engaged at home with my dog and the others to make sure they have a great day I wake up and take my dog out for a 30 minute walk in the morning. Then we come home and it’s time for breakfast and meds (if needed). I brush my dog after the afternoon walk and give plenty of treats and reward positive behavior

“Kelsey was very easy to communicate with as we had a few date changes and she happily accommodated. My dogs felt at home from the beginning in her house. I’m fairly positive they got more cuddles there than they do at home. She was always updating me on the pups with pictures and just how much she adored them. I’ve only lived in Elkhorn since late October. I could let the two dogs outside upstairs but the almost 3 year old lab refused to go up the stairs outside. So I had to walk downstairs to the walk-out basement to get her in. Well, Kelsey got her to go up her outside balcony, while it may have been backwards for a few times. She has now solved my dilemma and I no longer have to go downstairs to let her in! I would rank her 10 out of 10 if it was an option. She even sent the dogs home with goodie bags!! About: My mom started fostering dogs when I was 2 years old, so I've been taking care of dogs my whole life! I would love to help you take care of your dog(s)! I also have experience using various no-pull harnesses and gentle leader head collars for larger dogs. I have no qualms about taking care of "controversial" breeds such as Rottweilers, Dobermans, or Pit Bulls. I'm available for morning, evening, and weekend check-ins. I'm perfectly comfortable and experienced at administering oral medications and/or taking care of senior dogs and cats. I have a fenced-in yard for frequent potty breaks and play time. Adult pets must be spayed/neutered to stay at my home. I try to keep my Rover calendar up to date so you can see when I'm available! Please reach out for any specific dates needed! About: I have been watching friends and family animals for as long as I can remember. I love being able to give comfort to the animals when their parents are not able to. I do work full-time, but I’ve always been able to help out with my friends pets at least three times a day if not more when needed. I am not able to do in-home care at the client’s house-or overnight stays at my house at this time as I have an animal in my own.
