About: I’ve been a responsible pet owner for more than 40 years. I got my first dog, a standard poodle, in 1986. I’ve owned several standards as well as two Dobermans since then and have completely fallen in love with both breeds. I own 3 cats and 2 dogs currently. My friends call me the “Pied Piper of Pets” and “The Better Petter.” Let me show you what my hands can do to soothe and comfort your pets while you’re away at work or on vacation. You won’t be disappointed you did. I am semi- retired doing occasional side gigs like Rover, etc. My schedule is open and flexible with last minute availability and appointments encouraged. If I can’t accommodate your need I can refer you to someone who can. I have a huge fenced yard with plenty of room to run full speed. I always keep fresh food and water available for my pets and guest pets. I have a selection of toys, harnesses, and leashes, as well as 2 kennels and a couple of cat crates. I have a large variety of dog beds for just lounging around being lazy or taking an afternoon doze. Come evening we snuggle in on the couch, get comfy, and watch a movie. Come bedtime we all pile into my bedroom with pets sleeping either on the bed if allowed or on one of the many doggie beds on the floor. Doors are closed to other rooms, doggie gates used if needed. Nothing is left to chance regarding the safety of your animal. That is paramount. But coming in as a close second is all the cuddling, petting, and focused attention for your fur baby. I’ve been given the gift of having a soothing, loving touch for animals which pleases me as much as the pets on the receiving end. It’s truly a win-win and has earned me the nickname of “The Better Petter!”
