“I was super nervous having someone new stay with Zorro, because it’s been a long time. Due to a new nephew who wanted to make an early entrance to the world, I had to find someone on short notice. Linda has been amazing! We were able to do a meet and greet right away. She has been so patient and flexible, even adding an extra day so I could stay to help family. She took great care of Zorro and kept me updated. I am very grateful and would definitely recommend her to take care of your fur babies!”

“Lynn is the best!! Her love for dogs is genuine and evident. She took care of our furry boys like they were her own and for that, we are so grateful. Her consistent communication, warm thoughtful approach, and calm demeanor were the perfect fit for us and we plan to rebook as much as she is willing! I can honestly say our boys loved & appreciated her just as much as we did!! Thank you Lynn!”

About: I've taken care of a whole menagerie of animals since I was little. We always had at least a dog in the house, but by the time I left for college I had interacted with dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and even quail. I am able to feed, walk, give medication, and am semi comfortable with cleaning out the bedding in cages (it has been a while so I would need a refresher). I have cared for a wide variety of ages starting from puppies to senior dogs, and currently I share custody of an extremely spoiled house cat, with a few health problems. I currently work full time, but I am centrally located with a very long lunch break that I would love to use to visit your pets. My weekends are free if you need someone to stay with them while you are out of town, and I would love to swing by at supper time to make sure they are doing ok, and give them so extra love if they need it. Due to living in an apartment with strict pet policies I am unable to pet sit in my own home, but I am more than happy to come to your residence to take care of your pets, this can range from me staying over while you are out of town, or to just swinging by while you are at work so that they can be let out.
“I’m very happy with the care Erika provided for us! She stayed in our home with our 2 dogs and went above and beyond. Not only giving them lots of love, and making sure they were let out and care for, but she groomed them for us, took care of some stuff around the house for me and she stayed in constant contact with me throughout. I can’t say enough good things!!”

“We were so thrilled to have Mark, take care of our babies. He was so nice, polite, and professional on what he does we highly recommend him and we definitely will be having him be our permanent sitter for our babies.”

“Charity was amazing! She was so wonderful with our dog Diego. Her communication is excellent and our dog was well cared for! We highly recommend and definitely would hire her again!”

“I was a little unsure about leaving my dog with a stranger but Erika proved me wrong. She kept in constant contact including pics. She asked questions and contacted me over any concerns. She left the home clean and would definately use again.”

“Charlie did another great job for us. This time she stayed over a week at our place and took care of 3 cats and our dog this time. We threw additional medication needs on top of what we had last time including subcutaneous fluids for one of our cats and Charlie handled it like a pro! Our pets love Charlie!!”
“I recently booked Marc to take care of my cat. She's definitely a less than friendly feline with strangers, and he was great with her. She requires meds twice a day and he had zero issues getting her taken care of. I'd absolutely recommend Marc to take care of any animal if you need help.”

“Abigail was a Godsend! We are regular pet sitters ourselves but never needed a sitter. This time we were going away for 8 days and no one could help watch our cat. Out of desperation, I downloaded the Rover app two days before we were leaving, not sure what I needed. Abby’s profile was one of about 10 that popped up quickly. I thought I might just want drop-in service so was fine with her not having a lot of reviews. She was the first and only one we met with. She was quick to respond, flexible and amiable. She also had a desire to work with animals (and current doors). When we met, she brought her sister for safety (also a sweet girl!) and we discussed our needs. We didn’t know what we wanted but decided to ask her to sleep at the house. She was fine with it. While we were gone, she sent pictures and played with other cat a lot. She gave off great vibes so we trusted her easily. We felt our precious kitty, who can be standoffish at times, was well-loved and cared for. We needed an emergency night at the end because our flight canceled. She, again, obliged. Thankfully! We returned to the house in clean condition and she went the extra mile and cleaned her own sheets and towels! We are so grateful to have found Abby and hope to use her in the future!”

“Marie took amazing care of our two dogs. She was flexible to our needs and theirs. She’s a wonderful communicator and left our home exactly how we left it. We already booked Marie for our next trip.”

“Kristi did an amazing job watching my three dogs! She was able to win over our nervous Nobu and they became best friends. She communicated throughout the day to provide pup-dates and shared pictures with progress. Will book for future!”

“Addison was so responsive and proactively reached out a few days before her stay to coordinate our schedules and make sure the dogs were taken care of. She stayed in touch while we were gone a day even ran the vacuum for me before we got home. She was awesome and we will definitely be using her services again!”

“This was the first time my partner and I left our cats longer than eight hours since we adopted them. I knew I wanted to make sure they had someone who could not only to feed them twice a day, but provide a presence for them. Jason took care of our cats while we were gone and when we arrived, it was like they hardly noticed we were gone. They were happy to see us, of course, but they were perfectly content and happy when we got home. Jason gave us constant updates and photos during our trip and honestly left our home better than he found it (we gave it an honest go of cleaning before leaving!). We will definitely try to book with Jason again should we take another trip.”

“Diana is one of those people who when you meet her, you know she has a kind heart. Beautiful inside and out. She took great care of Finn. She watered my potted outside plants for me. Otherwise I am sure they wouldn't have lived through the scorching hot weather. She updated me and sent pictures of Finn. I also liked that she had experience with grouchy dogs because Finn is a rescue and can get frightened and grouchy with new people. He warmed up to her and Diana was able to get a leash on him and go on walks. I will use her in the future if I ever need to Rover again.”

Green Meadows pet parents share their Rover experiences
Mark was an amazing house sitter for us and we even quickly rebooked to use him again in December. He sent us a ton of pictures daily and regularly. This is something I very much appreciated getting constant updates/pics throughout the day, every day. This brings so much peace of mind while we are away. Would highly recommend Mark!
