Hey! Thanks for checking me out. My name is Mark, and the morkie in the picture is my best friend and rescue pup Charlie. We both recently moved back in with my mother, who is thrilled to potentially start hosting more pups! Charlie spent the first year of his life in a crate, in a household that largely ignored him. While I'm grateful that this was the extent of his neglect, he didn't come out of it unscathed. In fact, he has the worst separation anxiety of any dog that I've ever owned! He also has a tough time dealing with dogs that are significantly bigger than him. That's why I decided to move back home and shorten my hours at work, so I can always be present for him. I've been looking after dogs since I was 14, and I've worked at two separate dog boarding and grooming salons across 5 years+. I am excellent with dogs of all breeds and sizes. If you're wanting to find a reliable, safe and trusted person to go above and BEYOND for the care of your pup(s), look no further! Whether you need a house-sitter for two weeks or just someplace safe to drop off your small dog for a day or two, I make it my top priority to put your mind at ease. I will send you daily updates, as well as multiple photos and videos of your pet(s) detailing their day and how they did!

Mark is the best! Our dog was having some stomach troubles while we were away and he was so attentive, kind and communicative. He took great care of our dog until we could get home. Thankful we had him there!
Mark took excellent care of Boo. He kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and videos, which we really appreciated. Boo had a great time going on walks and playing with Charlie, and it was clear he felt comfortable and happy. He was always excited to see Mark in the morning. We will definitely continue to use Mark in the future.
Mark was absolutely wonderful with our brand new puppy Violet. She is only 14 weeks so I was so nervous to leave her for the night. He put my mind to ease right away at the meet and greet. His dog Charlie was a delight as well. She played so well with Violet. He was awesome at sending updates and photos the whole time we were gone. We will definitely be using Mark again. You can tell that he takes caring for other peoples loved ones very serious. He definitely has a passion and love free animals.
Mark was a wonderful dog sitter for our family’s two dogs. He shared regular updates and photos. It was clear he gave them plenty of attention and affection. Mark gave us great peace of mind knowing our dogs were well cared for while we were away.
Mark was absolutely fantastic! He went so far above and beyond my original expectations, and he loved on my girl so well. He was very communicative, sending updates throughout each day, and a picture or video here and there. It was very apparent in Allie’s behavior on camera that she really took to Mark and made a new friend that she loved to see and hang with. This will definitely not be our last time booking with Mark!!
This is our third time booking with Mark and are so grateful to have found him for our pup. Mark watched our elderly dog for two weeks in his home. Our dog had a spinal injury the day before our trip and Mark kindly agreed to take care of him still. He required three times daily medications, and other special care. Mark was very communicative about his health and medication reactions and helped us make appropriate adjustments. We got updates, pictures and our dog was clearly happy and well cared for. He is pouting now that he’s home. I think he wants to go back to Mark!

Schedule
As a part-time, work-from-home call center supervisor, there are usually only a handful of moments each day that I'm required to sit at my desk. I have a senior position that allows me to take frequent breaks and delegate tasks, ensuring I am always attentive to my pup and household.

I live in an extremely safe neighborhood in Northwest Omaha with a large, fenced in backyard. I have over 5 years of paid experience dealing with dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. I specialize in puppies and dogs with separation anxiety or high energy!

A typical day
There are several walking trails around my neighborhood that I enjoy taking Charlie around. In addition, we live in a large neighborhood near multiple schools so we get a lot of attention from kids and other dogs on walks!
